Could not be more pleased! Just picked up my sports car from Saticoy Auto Body and it looks wonderful. I am rather picky about the appearance of our cars and keep them clean and tidy. Turns out Saticoy Auto Body is also rather picky about doing great work. I had heard great things about them from friends who show their antique cars, so I wondered whether they would even consider working on a humble Mazda. I looked around the shop and it was full of classic collectibles. When I came to pick up the car (on the date promised), I found it sitting out in the bright sunlight, looking shiny and beautiful. Perfect, in fact. I figured that it would be perfect, since they had it sitting out in bright sunlight that would reveal any possible blemish. And it stood the test well. I'm sharing my personal experience with this Saticoy auto body shop and its owner because I believe people have a right to know what's really going on at this shop. Long story short, my family member ended up Having an issue with the owner After he filed a claim to one of my (Family Members insurance). Stating He needed numerous parts to list. My relative was surprised that AAA Insurance adjuster agreed to the claim and my family relative had to pay $1000 deductible! So once he went to pick up his car he noticed nothing was replaced that was on the invoice. He's a scammer. With all that being said about a week ago, me and my relative decided to go eat right across the street meanwhile, the owner of the shop is staring at us which it Was very noticeable trying to get my family member to react I'm assuming. Shortly there after the owner of the shop came up to my family relative threatening him in a harmful way speaking how no man should speak to another grown man you would think him as an owner of a shop that does good work. Don't get me wrong But he For the owner to Speak to somebody how he did was very uncalled for he was saying was very disrespectful to the point where I don't even mention what he said! It was that violent. Bottom line the owner of this shop, Scams the insurance knows exactly what to say and do. For his benefit and one last thing, he also mentioned to my family member that he is no longer to be In or near saticoy! This place sucks. They had told me their work was guaranteed as long as i own my car. Well their work is cracking again. I called this place and they said it's a new owner & they will not fix it because it's a new owner. Funny thing the new owner has the same damn name, his son??... Do NOT go here for repairs. Adolfo knows how to paint but the rest of his crew don't know how to prep a car or how to detail it after the paint job. Took my 65 Impala to him and he painted the car without sanding the sealant primer they sprayed , the paint started to peel like it had a vinyl wrap put on it bad call on Adolfo to paint it without sanding it. He had the nerve to say it had rust underneath the primer. When the the primer was not lifting but the paint job was. And to top it off the detailer buffed the car and put swirls all over the car. Everyone I asked about the swirls said he burned it with the buffer. And to throw it more over the edge they promised to get it done right away, they didn't and don't guarantee their work. My car went in to Saticoy auto body for a full restore. I finally got it out of there years later and $20,000 less with just the body and paint done and minus all of the trim, wheel wells, upholstery materials and all of the trim clips. I have been in the auto industry my whole life and I have never met someone (Adolfo, the owner) more dishonest and corrupt. After talking to many people and the BAR, it seems as though this kind of treatment is very common practice at Saticoy Auto Body. They have our 57 Chevy and he will not give it back. They painted it a few years ago. We gave him $15,000 in July 2019 to finish up the car he has not worked on it at all since then. He will not return our calls and will not let us pick up the car not to mention the money he owes us. Unfortunately, now we will have to go to the next steps, contact the auto bar, and pursue legal action. They have basically stolen our car at this point. :( super disappointing read more

I have been a good friend and client of Saticoy for probably about 12 years now. I paid them in 2018 $7000 to do an old school custom job. They blamed Covid about never getting to the job the were hired to do. So when i asked what's going on Adolfo kept telling me he'd get to it. He never got to it so i asked for my money and car back. They would only give the car back but not the money. And when I asked why adolfo and his son went off on me, threatening me and cussing me out to get the fuck off their property. I do not recommend this place if you need repair and paint. My car was in an accident and Al was very eager to repair my vehicle because my insurance was going to cover it. However, he took advantage of my car insurance, nothing was put back together correctly, my brake light was still broken, my speaker was very loose. After 6 months the paint cracked and my bumper started to peel. I called him to inform him of this and received several excuses to as why I couldn't take my car back. I'm furious because I have a beautiful Lexus which now looks trashy. I'm very disappointed in my judgement in going to him in the first place. I should have read the reviews before I took my 66 Mustang. This Body Shop is an absolute Joke. I left my car with a 5K deposit to commence body work and paint. 4 weeks later I come by here and my car wasn't touched. Adolfo the owner and painter laughs it off and says they will start in 1 week. I return a week later to find my car parked outside on the street still not touched. This man wasted 6 weeks of my time, 4 trips coming to to LA to see my car, my car could have been started but this man did not even apologize. I went to a few Auto Body shops in Ventura for rust removal and paint estimates. Honestly they were roughly all within the same $ ballpark. I was referred by AWS to Adolfo for the job. He was right on track with the other estimates. I chose his shop in part from referral, looking at the various vehicles in progress at the shop, but mainly because of his personal approach. The vehicle came back looking tip-top, detailed and with a full lifetime warrantee. We took our vehicle into Saticoy Auto Body to get rust repaired on the roof of the vehicle. We tried another company first, but the rust returned. Honestly, we went for the lower estimate, which was a mistake because short cuts were probably taken. Of course the stubborn rust returned again. Once we brought the vehicle to Adolfo at Saticoy Auto Body, he said his staff could fix it, but more importantly he guaranteed his work. They are perfectionists at this place! The darn rust returned again after some time and Adolfo was true to his word and fixed it again at no charge and no hassle. And I truly mean no hassle. He said just bring it in and they would take care of it. To top it off, we were having a hard time trying to pick up the vehicle due to work schedules and the front tire got a flat while it was parked in front of their business waiting for us to come and pick it up.
