We came across this coffee bar when we arrived at Assembly Row. Since it was too early to have dinner, we decided to get something to drink to pass the time. We went inside even though they have some outdoor seating: it was a day with on-and-off rain. The staff here is very friendly and patient. My husband ordered a pumpkin spice latte, and I ordered a sweetened iced tea. The iced tea was strong, which is nice to see, and the sweetener added to it was just right. The latte was every bit as good as Starbucks's offering. I liked the ambiance here. It gives off a homey and cozy vibe. Some tables even have upholstered chairs, which further the homey vibe. We chose a table that had regular chairs. We noticed customers with their laptops out, presumably working on their tasks. No one was made to feel rushed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. If I lived in the area, I could easily picture myself visiting here from time to time for a cup of tea. They have outdoor seating, which I imagine is nice to use on a nice day. It was nice to see a competitor of Starbucks making a go of it.

Expensive but nice ambience (fireplace, nice chairs, fancy lighting). The roasted tomato breakfast roll was served warm and toasted (~$7.70).

This is a perfect cafe to catch up with a friend, work on your laptop, or quick grab and go. It's usually always busy in the cafe but the service is quick. The cafe is clean and bright. They have a display case full of assorted pastries, diverse coffee/lattes, iced teas, lemonades, sandwiches. They are also open late which is great especially if playing sports across the street where you can grab a quick beverage before or after. I got a an iced almond milk latte with 4 pumps of pistachio - highly recommend! The strawberry lemonade was also delicious

I was craving a cold beverage after shopping around in Assembly Row. Decided to try something new, the Pistachio frappe latte & the strawberry frappe. The strawberry frappe was pretty good. The pistachio frappe latte was honestly not great and I could not get myself to finish the drink. I think drinks from Caffe Nero are hit or miss so I do tend to avoid going unless I am feeling parched like I did this day that I went in to grab drinks.

Who doesn't enjoy a good cup of coffee?I enjoyed a delicious cappuccino! Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

Wow, the service was ridiculously slow. There were only 2 people ahead of me in line, and it took probably 10+ mins to get up to order. They take your order at the register and then make everything, coffee and sandwiches before moving on to the next person. The food was meh as well. I got the chacon breakfast sandwich. All the sandwiches are premade, sitting in the case waiting to be heated up so I should have known that they weren't going to be great. The bacon was so undercooked that I took it off. I got a hot mocha, and at least that was good! My favorite part was the ambiance. They had mismatched tables, chairs and couches. There were people studying and reading and it was the perfect spot to spend a bit of the morning relaxing.

Mango Eclair & Mango Refresher (16oz)

Ordered a DoorDash delivery from Caffe Nero yesterday and overall was a good experience! The Mango Eclair was DELICIOUS- it also had passionfruit flavor which sent it further into the stratosphere of excellence. I will get baked goods from Caffe Nero every time I visit Boston! Especially this Eclair! My only critique is that I ordered a refresher drink as well, and it tasted incredibly weak / watered down to the point it just wasn't enjoyable. I would be willing to bet that the main line of drinks - coffee, lattes, teas and hot chocolate would be delicious and I'll definitely try some on our next visit and post an update. Definitely recommend Caffe Nero!

Ham and Cheese Baguette and a Flat White

Come here occasionally to work. Nice atmosphere, lots of plug outlets, and decent coffee. Also shoutout Ana, you make a mean flat white!

I recently visited Caffe Nero and had a small iced latte that struck the perfect balance of bitterness and smoothness, making it quite enjoyable. The staff were knowledgeable with their craft and can sway a better choice than what you originally had planned. However, the furniture to say the least wasn't my favorite - little dingy and could've been a little bit more kept. But a very nice spot if you're looking for a quieter, cozy setting.

My question is about outdoor/outside seating--do they still have a good amount of tables/chairs outside/seating--as of June 2022? Asking for folks who do not want to be inside b/c of Covid.

Do they offer indoor seating at this time during COVID-19?

Yep, they do! They have distanced tables and hand sanitizer available.

    Is it dog friendly?

Definitely dog friendly! At other Cafe Nero's I have seen people bring their dog in. There is a ton of outdoor seating with Adirondack chairs and bocce ball available. There are also outdoor lights so you can chill at night! Hope this helps!

That might be because of its location..it's kind of tucked away and the first time it took us a while to find. The easiest way to get there is to walk in to north station by the star market entrance, turn left and walk straight until you get to the doors and then walk through those and you'll see it (you'll pass Dunkin on the way). It's not what I would describe as a cozy coffee shop, it's the kind of place where you get your coffee and then leave. Now the drinks themselves.. The coffee cream/coffee ice cream is DELICIOUS. This was the first thing I ever tried and it blew me away. It is very heavy but so yummy. The latte affogato is also delicious, probably because they use that coffee cream in it! The Americano is great with any of the coffee blends. The Nutella latte is also one of my favorites, especially if you like Nutella. The gingerbread affogato was great too! This is a seasonal item I think but if it's there definitely try it! Everything here is so great, and the rotating specials make it very easy to want to keep going back and trying new ones. Highly recommend!

Very visually interesting, but the mozzarella was nice and warm, and the corn dog definitely hit the spot during the wait. We had already eaten but wanted to grab a drink and couldn't pass up trying a bubble tea spot. So as you'd expect this review is solely for just drinks. Service wise we ordered from the little kiosk which worked well and allowed for plenty of customizing of your drink. That was a positive but also could be a quick way to make your price sky high with most additions being an extra dollar. They give you an order number that will be called when your order is ready. As we were waiting a worker did ask if we were waiting and for our order number and then they seemed to put a rush on making it and they apologized for the wait. Which honestly I did not think we had a long wait but appreciated the staff still. Overall the space for waiting is limited but won't hold that in a negative light since it's a food hall. I grabbed a Mango Fruit Tea with mango popping boba added while my wife got their toasted brown sugar milk tea. Both were pretty good but neither blew us away. My wife did not like the syrup in her brown sugar milk tea, had an odd flavor to it. Maybe we should have picked different drinks that would have impressed more. I would return to give some of their food a try in the future and more drinks though. Friendly staff with decent drinks and located in a very convenient location if you are visiting TD Garden.

I do not go out for coffee much anymore due to the convenience and cost effectiveness of a Breville and am often frustrated paying over $5 for mediocre coffee, but flour cafe was not in this boat. Their cappuccino had the balance of flavor and aesthetic for a pleasant drink for my wife and I. Even better was the fact that these drinks were served by someone with a warm spirit and smile.. hard to get great service these days. Also, I am not eating flour until March but my wife said the ham and cheese croissant was incredible: generous portion of ham and cheese, baked to perfection, and not too bread(y). This is a great place to stop (in a beautiful residential area too).
