My friend has a gluten allergy, and the staff was amazing about it. they created equivalent GF options for her and even brought out two separate platters to avoid any cross-contamination. Each of us got four savory sandwiches and four mini desserts, which ended up being the perfect amount. The tea room itself is adorable inside, think charming mismatched plates, cups, and glasses that make the whole experience feel extra cozy. And a huge shoutout to Teagan, who gave us incredible service! She was so friendly, accommodating, and fun. Highly recommend!

I had a dietary restriction (gluten free) and we let them know a week in advanced. I tried calling them 4 days in advanced to make sure, no answer. Emailed 2 days just in case and there was also no answer. That was a bit disappointing. When ordering, they did not have prepared GF items and I had to change picked foods. Even with a week in advanced, little sad. The servers didn't know much about celiac and wanted to put everything on one plate, but I let them know we couldn't. The savory items were good and the sweets were alright, menu did not match online menu. Which is okay! Besides those issues, we really did have a fun time. You can never go wrong with tea and a friend! I would come back again in the spring and call again further than a week in advance or try a different location!

There is no indoor seating so plan to either sit outside if weather is nice or take back home with you. There are some meter parking spots out front. Nowhere to sit, so another challenge. Good selection of croissants and croissant-adjacent items like caneles and pain swisse. Friendly staff; no pretension. My first visit in well over a year on a late weekday morning tried a troika of chocolate-themed items. -- Chocolate Croissant: Not warm (and I wouldn't expect that past 9am), but very fresh feel, very slight greasiness on the bottom, plenty of flakiness on top, and decent fluffiness inside. A good bite, yielding plenty of croissant shrapnel, a light but pleasant buttery taste, and just the right amount of chocolate. A winner. -- Pain Swisse: This varied from others I've had, not having the typical stringiness around the perimeter that feels like raw pasta to the bite, but that was a plus. The bigger noticeable divergence was a much-lighter-than-typical custard presence inside, deferring to the dominant, high quality dark chocolate. The dough around it had good flavor and a nice light crunch, so whether central casting Pain Swisse or not, this satisfied. -- Chocolate Chip Cookie: An unusual rendition, with a dough darker than typical and also boasting some red tint hinting at red velvet. Soft, deliciously rich, and buttery, with the chocolate having a nice melt to it even late in the morning. Salt added some contrast without going overboard as some do. -- Coffee: High in temperature, acidity, viscosity, and flavor. A good match for their baked goods. Overall, still living up to the promise of the first visit, and taking some license with the classic recipes is fine by me with their high level of execution.
