Really great local coffee shop. If I lived or worked closer by this would be a spot I would definitely get a breakfast sandwich or bagel from. Parking in both front and back of building. While you're waiting in line you can just tell this is a local's spot. I ordered an iced chai latte but unfortunately what got made was hot. That was my only down side, but due to my anxiety and not wanting to waste I took the drink that was made for me. Though I do not usually enjoy hot drinks this did taste delicious and once at my preferred temperature I was able to drink all of it. Visited Boston King Coffee while on vacation in Boston . Boston King Coffee was the 3rd coffee location in Boston we tried . I got the Firenze shakearto and my boyfriend got peters iced coffee . The Firenze was very good! And the best coffee we've tried in Boston so far. The older lady at the register taking orders struggled to answer a lot of our questions even something simple like what milk options were available , She mentioned she's worked there for 2 years and when asking questions about the menu she didn't know the answers and told us she didn't drink coffee. There are less than 10 food and drink places I would drop into when visiting Massachusetts - one of them being Boston King Coffee! Peter has developed his craft towards coffee making. I especially love his special that will be a motivation for my drive 30-45 minutes out of Boston to get to his coffee shop. He is attentive to the coffee bean quality. The almond milk iced matcha is also delicious. This is not a Dunkin Donuts when it comes to speed. You may need to wait since Peter makes the coffe but it's certainly worth the wait. I visited Boston King Coffee on a Saturday morning and it was BUSY! Even though the shop was hustling and bustling, the line did move and the team behind the counter did not rush you. We got a pistachio nut muffin, iced latte and a siphon Ethiopian roast. The muffin was super moist and better than most muffins you would find in a coffee shop. The star of our visit was the siphoned coffee. It was very reasonably priced and Peter takes care in creating each cup in his "laboratory". There was plenty of chairs and tables in the cafe and I would consider using this place for coffee chats or catch ups. As others have said, Boston King takes care in their work. The muffins are fresh-baked and delicious, the bagels are made on-site and toasted just right, and the coffee is good. I'd recommend springing for the pour-over or syphon options for the coffee, the difference is really worth the extra money. Their sandwiches are good. Nothing that's blown my mind, but it's a great sandwich. Their latte drinks are okay, not their strongest suit. They also put a very light amount of cream cheese on their bagels, so make sure to ask for extra. read more

Amazing, the owner is just so pleasant and kind. He really knows how to make a great cup of coffee/espresso. I got a chocolate chip muffin and every bite had at least 10 chocolate chips in it. It clearly was the best muffin I've ever had. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Last week I had a breakfast sandwich and it just was perfect, the bacon was crisp the bagel was toasted perfect, they just really pay attention to details. The ambiance is pleasant. What a delightful little coffee shop. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming and they even brought my food and drink to me, which I thought was a nice little gesture. I ordered the house chicken salad and an iced mocha. The house chicken salad had capers and nuts which I was skeptical of at first but they actually added excellent flavor and crunch. The epitome of the cute lil' coffeeshop! Something about the exterior made me think it was a chain of some sort, but I was so wrong. I was warmly greeted by (I think) Peter as soon as I walked in while he was carefully preparing coffee in his cute, very legit-looking "laboratory." Once I saw that, I realized that this was no ordinary coffeeshop. Firstly, the ambiance is so nice and tranquil, European vibes all around with Tony Bennet playing in the background. There was a good amount of people but sufficient seating for everyone, and not loud at all. Just the usual buzzes that come with espresso machines, which I personally love. And, my goodness, the hype about the coffee here is 1000% true. I ordered the espresso macchiato and it was so rich and tasty, not bitter at all! No need to add any sugar or cream at all, which I don't accustom to doing anyways because I like my coffee strong. I was curious about the Kyoto Matcha Latte that was advertised as a special, and will probably return to have it. For food, I had the well-being special, which was a "healthier" version of just a regular egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich. Not as mind-blowing as the coffee, but still a good, hearty sandwich. I sat in the corner booth/tables by the window, and the booth would be my one critique because it is a little tall for the tables (not able to cross my legs). I grabbed their club and had them add avocado to it which was pretty damned delicious though I was not a fan of the chips they included - I wish they just used Cape Cod potato chips like most other places because those are delicious and these were pretty terrible.
