Brown Sugar Cinnamon Shaken Espresso

Really glad I decided to stop by The Bagel Bar for a coffee and bagel! The shop is a tiny and cozy spot with some indoor seating. They have a good variety of coffee and bagels also. I decided to try the french toast bagel with honey cinnamon butter and it was delicious and the perfect bite for a cold day. I was really surprised by how great the coffee was too. I ordered a brown sugar cinnamon shaken espresso and it was such a good deal for the amount of coffee I got. The flavor was great too. Can't wait to check out more of the menu!

Chocolate chip muffin and a Nutella Shakerato

Fantastic coffee shop! I cannot say enough good things about this place. The baristas are friendly and welcoming. The shakerato drinks are delicious, and the chocolate chip muffin I got was yummy. There are many things on this menu that you can't get at most coffee shops. Pricing is reasonable too. A gem in Winchester!!

Everything bagel

Welcome addition to the neighborhood. Stopped by on a busy saturday morning. Staff were friendly and turned around orders pretty quickly. Ordered an everything bagel and chive cream cheese. The bagel was fresh and they had the perfect amount of cream cheese. Menu also features specialty breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches, in addition to the coffee bar. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Extremely over priced and poor quality. I ordered an everything bagel lox sandwich and it was one of the worse I've ever had anywhere. The bagel itself was almost bare with no seeds or toppings on it. It was cut awkwardly uneven and just lacked flavor. They put some dismal slivers of tomato and onion with a small amount of capers, very stingy and forgettable. Some of the staff were nice but overall they seem to just fill it with teens that don't care and just slap your food together. For $15 after tax because of a $1.50 chive cream cheese up charge, I would say this felt like a robbery.

Great service and excellent quality. I especially like the chicken salad sandwich. The portion is robust so you won't walk away hungry!

We walked into a comfortable space with a relaxed vibe that never feels generic, the kind of spot where you can settle in for a meal or grab something quickly without the atmosphere working against you. The Vietnamese bowl is the order that brings everything together well. We tried it and the flavors were bright and balanced, leaning into the fresh herb and citrus notes that make Vietnamese inspired food work when the kitchen takes it seriously. The bowl format here gives you enough going on across the components that each bite shifts slightly, which kept the meal interesting from start to finish in a way that a simpler dish would not. The broader menu is worth exploring beyond a single visit. The shakshuka and acai bowl are both good, the smash burger salad is a surprisingly strong order for anyone who wants something more indulgent, and the vegan options are extensive and genuinely well executed rather than feeling like an afterthought. The smoothies are popular for good reason and the coffee holds up as well. Pricing runs on the higher side and the menu does not always list prices upfront on site, which is worth being aware of before you commit to a larger order. Service is generally attentive and fast, though it can vary by location and shift.

The breakfast menu includes plenty of options with filling portions of breakfast staples including eggs, benedicts, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, waffles, or breakfast sandwiches. The menu also offers several sandwiches -- including grilled chicken, boneless fried chicken, chicken salad, steak and cheese -- which are available all day for those heathens who don't crave breakfast foods at every opportunity. I had the Javah Grindah sandwich ($8), comprised of two eggs (over medium at my request), breakfast meat (ham, bacon, or sausage), and a side of James River BBQ sauce on a fresh grinder roll. Unfortunately.. although the description on the menu doesn't mention cheese, my sandwich came out with two slices of white American cheese. I hate having to ask a restaurant to do this, but I had to send it back because lactose. Our server apologized for the misunderstanding and brought a replacement sandwich without cheese out straight away. The sandwich was really tasty with the BBQ sauce. My dining companion preferred something lighter and opted for the Skinny Girl Pick ($12), comprised of two eggs, fresh avocado, fresh fruit, and a few slices of wheat toast, which she really enjoyed. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area! PRO TIP: Make sure you let your server know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, in case the chef decides to use ingredients not listed on the menu.
