The bagels themselves weren't that bad, but where are all the toppings. Super skimpy on the cream cheese. The plain bagel had barely any scallion cream cheese on it. Maybe the thinest layer I've ever seen. Really disappointed to come home, open the wrapper and see this. The poppy seed bagel and it had like 20 poppy seeds total. Where did the rest of them go? It's basically a plain bagel. Will not be coming back if this cost $8 for basically 2 plain bagels. read more

I was waiting for my son to take his driving test at Middlesex driving Academy in Winchester and decided to take a walk to Dunkin' Donuts. A couple of stores prior to Dunkin' Donuts. I noticed this little shop across the street called bagels and brew and decided to stop in to check it out. First of all the interior is adorable, but please be warned that there are a few steps down so not accessible for everyone. The staff is very nice and funny and they all seem to enjoy working together and were even supporting one of the workers who had some neck pain. Best of all the bagels are fresh and delicious with lots of options to choose from. Also, my thin, mint decaf almond milk latte really hit the spot. A solid 3. Didn't change my life, but not offensive. There is a parking lot off the street, they have a great selection of bagels, the dining room is very clean and comfortable. We got there at 9am on a Friday and they were already sold out of many of the bagel flavors we wanted, so get there early for the widest selection. The bagel itself was good and was of good quality. The service was fine. I prefer Bagel World in Reading but can see how this is a favorite place for people living and working in Winchester. read more

I was on my way to Breuggers when I saw Bagels N Brew and stopped in around 8 AM. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I ordered a dozen bagels. I quickly suspected the bagels were not made in-house when I couldn't see any equipment (confirmed by an owners comment in a review "delivered fresh daily") They certainly were not warm like our small local shop in Reading and I question the freshness. The taste was dry and uninteresting especially for a French toast bagel. Very pricey for a dozen bagels $19 but when the shop buys their bagels there has to be a mark up. read more

Nice staff, plenty of room to sit and work if needed, and they make a nice London Fog Earl Grey Latte, but I am sorry to say the bagels were dry and disappointing. My first clue should've been when they were automatically going to toast the bagel. I should have let them. I did however think their lox spread which had fresh dill in it was delicious. This is my favorite bagel place ever. The bagels are always warm and yummy and the service is always pleasant. We ordered online at 11 am on a Sunday and they ran out of chocolate chip bagels so we had to substitute it with something else. It's a small little shop in Winchester that has a huge selection of coffees and bagels. There was a pickup area right when you entered to grab your order. The lady at the cashier was very nice and answered all the questions we had about the coffee menu. There is some street parking and seating inside to eat your bagel. He seemed to have more authority over the others working there so he could be management/ ownership. Delicious and Great Customer Service!! I had the Ferrero Rocher hot chocolate, a Banana hot chocolate and Hazelnut ice coffee and it was absolutely amazing and tasteful . We also had the bagel pizza and a sausage, egg and cheese on a egg bagel and it was so good . I highly recommend this place, especially with the 5 star customer service we received. I happened upon Bagels N Brew today and was delighted to find an authentic bagel shop in my back yard! I am from NY and have been hard pressed to find a bagel place that truly felt like "home." That is, until today--my first clue that they know their stuff was the fact that they have salt bagels! (Thank you!) Stopped in B&B on a whim while passing through town. My husband and I figured we'd just get one bagel to share (pumpernickel with bacon & scallion cream cheese). Found a scenic spot about a mile down the road to enjoy our breakfast treat. Amazing! Was SO delicious that we circled back to B&B on our way out of town to pick up another bagel w/ cc for the drive home, as well as a few extras for the freezer.
