We were first brought here by Too Good To Go app and have returned a few timea since. Today was another bag pick up and we made a purchase while there. The bagels and current fall coffee menu are delicious! I got a Fall Fix (hot coffee) and my boyfriend got the Butterball (iced only). We bought some homemade cream cheese and it was a seasonal snickerdoodle flavor. It is sooo yummy! The workers were extremely kind. They were great and also made sure we were really informed of our options. Plenty of seating with a couch and some games to play. Fun and cozy little atmosphere. There is parking on the side of the building as well. Be warned as others have said, there are a few single steps up and down throughout. Overall would highly recommend. read more

I was waiting for my son to take his driving test at Middlesex driving Academy in Winchester and decided to take a walk to Dunkin' Donuts. A couple of stores prior to Dunkin' Donuts. I noticed this little shop across the street called bagels and brew and decided to stop in to check it out. First of all the interior is adorable, but please be warned that there are a few steps down so not accessible for everyone. The staff is very nice and funny and they all seem to enjoy working together and were even supporting one of the workers who had some neck pain. Best of all the bagels are fresh and delicious with lots of options to choose from. Also, my thin, mint decaf almond milk latte really hit the spot. The bagels themselves weren't that bad, but where are all the toppings. Super skimpy on the cream cheese. The plain bagel had barely any scallion cream cheese on it. Maybe the thinest layer I've ever seen. Really disappointed to come home, open the wrapper and see this. The poppy seed bagel and it had like 20 poppy seeds total. Where did the rest of them go? A solid 3. Didn't change my life, but not offensive. There is a parking lot off the street, they have a great selection of bagels, the dining room is very clean and comfortable. We got there at 9am on a Friday and they were already sold out of many of the bagel flavors we wanted, so get there early for the widest selection. The bagel itself was good and was of good quality. The service was fine. I prefer Bagel World in Reading but can see how this is a favorite place for people living and working in Winchester. read more

I was on my way to Breuggers when I saw Bagels N Brew and stopped in around 8 AM. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I ordered a dozen bagels. I quickly suspected the bagels were not made in-house when I couldn't see any equipment (confirmed by an owners comment in a review "delivered fresh daily") They certainly were not warm like our small local shop in Reading and I question the freshness. The taste was dry and uninteresting especially for a French toast bagel. Very pricey for a dozen bagels $19 but when the shop buys their bagels there has to be a mark up. read more

Nice staff, plenty of room to sit and work if needed, and they make a nice London Fog Earl Grey Latte, but I am sorry to say the bagels were dry and disappointing. My first clue should've been when they were automatically going to toast the bagel. I should have let them. I did however think their lox spread which had fresh dill in it was delicious. This is my favorite bagel place ever. The bagels are always warm and yummy and the service is always pleasant. I constantly eat here for lunch and the staff always makes polite conversation and are happy to help. Their sausage egg and cheeses are my personal favorite, but their shop offers so much more. We ordered online at 11 am on a Sunday and they ran out of chocolate chip bagels so we had to substitute it with something else. It's a small little shop in Winchester that has a huge selection of coffees and bagels. There was a pickup area right when you entered to grab your order. The lady at the cashier was very nice and answered all the questions we had about the coffee menu. There is some street parking and seating inside to eat your bagel. The bagel is very soft, chewy, and the perfect amount of dense. read more

Hidden gem! Found this place originally because I needed food on the Fourth of July. And again on thanksgiving morning. They are open most holidays and they always deliver such delicious bagels, sandwiches and coffee! Surprisingly good bagels and MUCH easer to access and order from their their competitor down the street. I ordered 2 dozen bagels for my office with cream cheese and lox. Folks gobbled them up. I'd order again from them again. I didn't have any of their coffee or other items, so I can't speak to those. read more

Not sure if the demeanor of the man operating the cash register today was the norm but if it is... yikes, so rude! He seemed to have more authority over the others working there so he could be management/ ownership. I was willing to get over his attitude once I received my food and coffee however the quality was as poor as his attitude. Do better. read more

The service was good and friendly, but unfortunately both the bagels and the brews left me disappointed. The bagels were similar to grocery store bagels and the decode tasted like it was powdered coffee, idk what suppliers they use, but it isn't up to par with the service. Delicious and Great Customer Service!! I had the Ferrero Rocher hot chocolate, a Banana hot chocolate and Hazelnut ice coffee and it was absolutely amazing and tasteful . We also had the bagel pizza and a sausage, egg and cheese on a egg bagel and it was so good . I highly recommend this place, especially with the 5 star customer service we received. I happened upon Bagels N Brew today and was delighted to find an authentic bagel shop in my back yard! I am from NY and have been hard pressed to find a bagel place that truly felt like "home." That is, until today--my first clue that they know their stuff was the fact that they have salt bagels! (Thank you!) Had to ask twice. They should be served first. 3- Their pizza arrived scolding hot with ZERO plates! 4- Kids dessert arrived last. Wait.... Second to last while almost all adults whipped cream melted. 5- Another adult had to go hunt down tiramisu that was never delivered. This was a Friday evening reservation at 6pm. four or five other families were also dining with children and I know Lucia's is known for after sport pizza parties, as well as high school pre game pasta parties. Very confused what went on here.

Wild concept. The staff was excellent--friendly, helpful, and efficient, without the forced enthusiasm you get at chain coffee shops where everyone sounds like they're being timed. Service was quick, recommendations were solid, and no one tried to upsell me a mortgage disguised as a latte. I ordered a 12oz roasted flavored coffee (the flavor changes daily). Today's was Mudslide. Smooth, perfectly hot, with subtle hints of chocolate that behaved themselves. Not syrup soup. Not dessert in a cup. Just coffee. And it was about $2 for a small, which is impressive considering most chain coffee places now charge $6 for something that tastes like regret and burnt beans. The menu is refreshingly reasonable. Enough options to make people happy without needing a scroll wheel. I went with the Red Devil Turkey BLT on an Asiago bagel with Chelsea Fire cream cheese. The sandwich was $11 and worth every penny. The Chelsea Fire cream cheese is the star--bold, flavorful, and memorable. If chain coffee shops had this, they'd immediately ruin it by diluting it and charging extra. The bagel was still warm and clearly fresh, the turkey and lettuce tasted actually fresh (not "fresh adjacent"), the bacon was cooked perfectly, and everything worked together instead of competing like a group project gone wrong. Overall: great food, fair prices, excellent coffee, and a place that quietly outperforms chains without announcing it. Highly recommend. I'll be back--probably more often than I should.

I have been going to Bagels N Brew for a bit now and I am greeted each time with warm welcome. The bagels are delicious and you can't go wrong with anything. It has become my go to coffee place as well...brewed to perfection. What makes this place a top notch local spot is the customer service. Today, I had one of "those" mornings. I was looking forward to my coffee and bagel and after ordering, I quickly realized that I forgot my money (cash only for now). I had just enough for a coffee. The owner, Neil, told me to place my full order and pay him back next time as he knows I'm a "good customer". I can't tell you how much that recognition and act of kindness meant this morning! I was really happy to hear that a location was opened in Woburn as it's wicked close. This one is in a great spot with plenty of parking - while the street itself on can get busy/hectic, something has to be! This location also has a nice sized outdoor seating space with a mixture of tables both in sun and shade via umbrellas. The inside is open and spacious with lots of nooks and crannies. They have a menu dock when you first walk in, and they have added two kiosks for self-service ordering. If you prefer to order with a person, you can still do that too up at the counter, and then there is another menu dock up by the registers to dispose of the menu upon ordering. The placement of the self-serve kiosks is good because you can't miss it, however, with how crowded and busy Pressed Cafes can get it can easily get really crowded since it is by the door - and if you don't realize it's kiosks, I'm afraid people will stand around waiting not necessarily knowing they can go order at the counter. Now let's talk the menu. It's massive with so many options. They do breakfast and lunch items all day long. So many options like you could go to pressed every day for a long time and/or for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still have a different item for days, weeks, and maybe a few months. Now, every location has the same core menu, but some locations have extra sections or items - most notably for this Woburn location, is the brick oven and pizza - which smells so delish! The food is always amazing, always fresh, and made to order. Plus the portion size is very generous!! I have never got something that was not good and I did not like! I find the service to also be excellent. They are very friendly and again with how busy it gets there, they do a phenomenal job at keeping things moving - from taking orders, to delivering your order, to getting pickup/online orders ready, to cleaning up tables, etc. - they are so efficient. Prices are moderate. Depending on what you get, it can get pricey but it's not terribly overpriced considering - it is an upscale cafe and well, you do get what you pay for. All in all, I rant and rave about Pressed Cafes. You want breakfast, Pressed. You want coffee shop, Pressed. You want lunch, Pressed. You want a cool, hip, vibing place, Pressed. You want quick and efficient service, Pressed. Not sure what you want but want fresh, Pressed. Just go to Pressed! I did a pick up order for Chai Tea Latte a while ago for my first time at this shop and then went back most recently for sit down meals twice in one weekend - lunch and then breakfast.
