Bacon egg and cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich
    Meg C.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches on a biscuit! Ordered ahead on the phone and picked up about 15 mins later. The biscuit is very good - good size, soft, fluffy, not crumbly or dough - it really elevates the sandwich to the next level. Only comment is we ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese sandies and they gave us 2 bacon egg and cheese sandies. The ticket on the outside of the bag was correct but the food was wrong. Will verify it's sausage next time, definitely will be back.

Discovered this place and stopped by on a whim few months ago. Now, I frequent this place a couple times a week! Friendly and inclusive community, great coffee, and yummy bagels. Their cold brew is the real deal, and the best cold foams I've ever had.

We came here for the biscuit sandwich and it did not disappoint! This seems like a popular joint, but there's a steady flow and many people take out so we only waited a few minutes for a table. There's a large menu of pastries, sandwiches (breakfast & lunch) and coffee drinks. Once you order at the counter, they'll bring your food to your table. The biscuit sandwich looks simple, but mighty and I love the simplicity because each layer adds flavor. The egg and sausage are both thiccc and the biscuit is SO buttery, with crisp edges and a soft inside

I stopped in on a Saturday morning around 11am for a late breakfast. I loved the ambiance. There is plenty of seating and the staff was super friendly and attentive. I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and an egg and cheese on an English muffin. Both my coffee and sandwich were delicious! I'll definitely be back!

I discovered this place on Yelp and was intrigued by the bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit. As a huge fan of bacon egg and cheese bagels, I knew I had to give it a try. I was surprised at how moist and buttery the biscuit was, it paired perfectly with the filling and I liked that it didn't make the sandwich too heavy. If you're unsure about the biscuit like I was, this is your sign to try it!! I also tried the lavender iced latte which was yum and not too milky. The server was friendly and there was plenty of seating with clean tables.

Cute little shop with lots of options. Love that they have veggie sausage as an option, alternative milks, and one of the widest variety of syrups I have seen. The staff was nice and friendly. Where they lost the star from me was that the egg was this square egg which looks / seems not fresh (it wasn't bad or anything, just clearly doesn't seem like something fresh) and my hot latte wasn't as hot as I expected. I would still stop by and give them a try. If I'm in the area I'll definitely be giving them another try.

I've always had a little soft spot in my heart since Central Perk was introduced in the mid 90's during the TV show "Friends". In my college years, I tried to frequent our local coffee shop, with acoustic open mic nights and poetry readings. There is something so homely about your nearby, non-corporate coffee dispensary, and Studio Cafe is no different. Right on Main St. in Woburn, with several public parking lots surrounding it along with free parking right out front, it is very easy to get in and out quickly. If you're the artsy type or have kids who are, you'll love it here. They have local artistry all over the walls and even small seating areas for kids with crayons/markers for your little one to go wild on a blank canvas. So it's definitely very "artist focused" overall. The lobby greets you with some excellent seating arrangements. There are your typical table and chairs that any restaurant would have but also low seated tables and sofas for you to enjoy your food and beverages on while sitting around what feels like a living room setting. It is counter service only, with chalk menus available that change daily, along with the coffee flavors. Offering everything from donut sticks to bagels with flavored cream cheese, I always look for a coffee locale that comes with food too. Everything has been extremely fresh and tasty. They are already well known for their biscuit sandwiches. Made in-house with a very fluffy egg and your choice of meat including vegetarian sausage, I would highly recommend grabbing one of these over any of the confectionaries in the case in front of you. I'm happy to finally have that local coffee shop within just a few miles of our place to call our own. We will keep going back as long as the beverage and food options remain this strong overall.

Kid approved! Smoothies and sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. Yum

Delicious breakfast sandwiches, pastries and coffees. Love the veggie sausage too. Markers and games make it an easy place for breakfast with kids

Decided to stop into the local caffe Nero in Winchester. As far as chain goes, this is a very small location, but still retains the airy industrial eclectic feel of a warehouse filled with combination of rustic furniture and your grandparents antique stuffed chairs and a fireplace that belongs in a log cabin. I like to say it still has cozy vibes and is conducive to enjoying a lengthy conversation with your friends. There were two people at the counter and the one who served me was polite, but also seemed pretty tired. I am guessing I arrived at the end of her long holiday Monday shift. I did not stop her from making my oatmilk matcha latte with love and artistry. I understand that prices are what they are now, but it's still something you notice. Even so, I stopped in, and overall, I'm glad I did. The almond croissant was genuinely very good. The almond flavor was present and clear without being overpowering or overly sweet, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. It tasted fresh and well-made, not like an afterthought sitting under glass all day. The sugar-free caramel latte was also solid--creamy, rich, and well-balanced. It didn't taste watered down or overly artificial, which can sometimes happen with sugar-free syrups. The atmosphere lands somewhere between calm and busy. There's a steady hum of low conversation, the usual coffeehouse music quietly filling the space, and dim lighting that feels intentional rather than gloomy. It's comfortable and relaxed, the kind of place where you can sit, read, think, or pretend to get work done without feeling rushed. The staff was friendly, efficient, and knew what they were doing. Ordering was quick and easy, with no confusion or awkward pauses. There's a good selection of standard coffee shop food--sandwiches, croissants, pastries, power bars, and other small bites--nothing groundbreaking, but enough variety to find something that works. Overall, it's a pleasant and reliable experience. Not especially memorable, but consistently good, comfortable, and well-run. You leave satisfied, caffeinated, and only mildly aware of what you just spent, which feels about right.

Some are drive-thru only (like the one near my house). I'm gonna talk about the former real quick. Naturally, the menu is basically the same. On this day, I was having lunch. Ergo, I opted to try the Chipotle Short Rib & Egg burrito (as a bowl because I'm a man of culture) accompanied with a cup of chowdah. I must say...I expected there to be a bit more flavor, what - with the Chipotle sauce n' all. Alas, I had to add my own salt. This is mostly a nitpick, but really...can we please season our beef? Just a lil bit even? So, the biggest difference you'll notice at this location is the parking situation. It's....annoying. Because on the one hand, you technically have ample amounts of spaces to park in. Or...you WOULD, if not for the signs en masse that read "[insert corporate company name here] parking only - all violators will be towed at owner's expense." I find this hilarious because I feel like that would be impossible to enforce for folks parking less than 10 minutes to pick up an order like I did. So, I guess my pro tip of the day would be: feel free to park wherever at your own risk if and ONLY if you're getting take-away. If you're actually dining in, I suppose you'll have to wait painstakingly for one of the few parking spots actually designated for Pressed specifically to open. By the way, if you're picking up a take-away order, the take-out shelf is smack dab next to their side entrance opposite the side where you would normally order your food. It's one of those "blink once and you'll miss it" type things the first time visiting. From my vantage point, this place stays quite busy. Not surprising, considering the Burlington area in general. Clearly, a lot of folks come here mid-work day which is also the only reason I came here to begin with. Overall, not a bad lunch stop, though the parking can be slightly obnoxious. I'm giving Pressed Cafe in Burlington 4 Chipotle Short Rib bowls dubiously seasoned out of 5.

I got inspired by watching youtube to make a jambon buerre sandwich - supposedly a popular quick sandwich for Parisians. The sandwich is half a baguette with butter and French bistro ham. I tried searching all over for the French bistro ham with no luck. The only options were online sources with expensive shipping and/or expensive minimum order sizes. Somehow I stumbled upon MA-France nearby in Arlington and they sell jambon-buerre sandwiches. It's a small shop that sells sandwiches, pastries, and a small offering of French food products. Lots of pastries and baked goods like quiche, tarts, cookies, croissants, etc. The cheese offerings were very limited and basic. I can imagine that the cheeses that they sell are the same types and brands that they use for making sandwiches. For example, they sell President brand Brie - that you can also buy at Costco and market basket. Disappointing, but understandable because they can't afford to buy more variety and more expensive offerings without a big enough client base to buy those cheeses before they go bad. Getting back to the sandwich - it was half a baguette with some thick slices of butter and two pieces of French bistro ham. The bread was kind of dense and the crust was more chewy than crispy. I was disappointed that they didn't bother to spread the butter, but if they're not selling enough sandwiches then they're probably keeping the butter in the refrigerator - making it too difficult to spread. When I got home I fixed up the sandwich to my liking. Overall, the sandwich was okay, but not good enough to make me want to go back. At least I was able to solve my hunger for the jambon buerre sandwich.
