I got the cracked chocolate latte, egg sandwich and a chocolate chip muffin. My husband got the white chocolate raspberry latte, an egg sandwich and one of their new strawberry muffins. DELICIOUS! The muffins alone are enough of a reason to come here. The owner checked in to see how we liked our food and drinks - it was clear she wanted us to be happy. Drinks are good , good for the price , service was great, very welcoming environment , however the food is not exactly how they show it online , I have been seeing the cinnamon rolls all over their Instagram page , they looked delicious, went in to go get one, and there was literally nothing on it. I love coming to Kennedy's on weekends with my fiancé. If you are a sweet coffee lover, this place is for you. They have tons of unique and fun flavors that they are always promoting on their Instagram. The woman who I believe is the owner is so friendly and outgoing, and it's always such a joy to see her. There's almost always a line because people know this place is so good. The donuts are delicious. I recently tried to cinnamon roll and it was outstanding. We also get breakfast sandwiches, which I will say aren't amazing but they definitely are very very good. This place was cute, I went late morning on a weekday so it was empty and my ham, egg and cheese croissant was sooooo good. The smoothie was nice and refreshing too. I was craving a donut but I unfortunately chose the wrong one. I thought it would have Bavarian or Boston creme inside but it was pure frosting like the outside suggests. I thought the frosting on the outside was just a decoration but no, pure whipped sugar on the inside too and it was just too much for me. The owner has a bad attitude and literally knows she's being rude as she stated "don't go leaving a bad review" after I tried ordering from her and she complained that I was going too fast. The food was okay, but the service makes me not want to go back. The cafe is small and crowded. read more

The service is very wonderful and the breakfast food selection is adequate. The ambiance is like any coffee shop. However, the coffee is pretty dreadful. I have gone there 3 times now and have ordered a different beverage each time, and all three times I threw it away. If you love coffee and need it to function then this place is not for you. This establishment honestly has a lot of potential, but the lack of organization and a system makes it below average. When ordering they have no system and everyone is running all over the place trying to make coffees and food. There were about 10 people in line and the owner was making passive aggressive comments towards customers about having to wait for her to make their food, when they had no issue waiting. Coffee is also not great at all, paid 8 dollars for a regular latte with no substitute milks or anything which I think is a bit steep. Ended up throwing it away because it had no taste. It's great that they went viral on social media, but seems like they need to create a better system to accommodate for the larger crowds they are now bringing in. read more

I tried Kennedy's Cafe for the first time today. I will be back! I was in the mood for a frozen chocolaty beverage, so I ordered the medium Oreo Cookie drink. The size was very generous. It came with a fat straw, so I didn't struggle to sip it. I also got a feta spinach croissant to go. I heated it at home. It was flaky and tasty. The next day I sampled the pistachio muffin. SOOO good. I am a fan of the Kennedy family's Ice Cream Bar in Melrose as well. I knew this would be another great place to frequent. read more
