Cute but busy cafe I love a good matcha and Vietnamese coffee shop. It is located in a cute little plaza with limited parking. I tried the pandan coffee, pandan matacha and ube matcha. Drinks were done super quickly even at their busiest weekend time. The matcha and coffee was great! Strong robust taste. I just wish I could taste the pandan flavoring more. I will def come back to try their other drinks like their seasonal banana latte Environment: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 5/5
Drinks are a tad overpriced for what you get in terms of size in comparison to competing cafes. I got the pistachio white mocha which had a unique taste of pistachio and white chocolate, but the coffee seemed to have an underlying sour taste. Service was nice and quick despite it being a busy morning. There is inside and outside seating , along with multiple chairs and tables but do be aware that it is usually busy and loud. Something to keep in mind if you are looking to do some focused work. I also tried the mango sticky rice matcha which I enjoyed more than the white pistachio mocha. Had some pretty good strength of matcha and wasn't entirely overpowered by the sweetness of the mango.
Probably the best matcha I've had in phoenix so far! We arrived in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. We snagged a table and our drinks came out super quick. First of all, I love the cups. The rounded bottoms are so cute and it is the perfect size. We ordered the horchata latte and the matcha coconut cloud. Both were amazing. The matcha coconut cloud was refreshing, the perfect sweetness level, and the matcha flavor came through from the foam (which isn't always the case with this drink). My friend also enjoyed her horchata latte. I love that they have flavors like black sesame and pandan which I 100% need to come back to try. Ratings Matcha coconut cloud: 4/5 Horchata latte: 5/5
I have been here A LOT. We live nearby and it's our favorite coffee shop to visit. They used to be super Duper busy, but always very quick. We've tried a lot of different things on the menu, but my favorite will always be the regular strawberry Matcha, they also always have seasonal flavors which is really fun, and helps me try new things since I go so much. Their banana pudding Matcha is very popular and I missed it last year, so I got it this time, soooo delicious. They also sell the banana pudding by itself which is also a great snack/dessert. The Matcha is sometimes inconsistent here, I've had more hits than misses, but it's something to consider since their drinks are pretty expensive. When it's not too busy this is the perfect place to study or work, it's really cute inside and has great ambience!
My all time favorite matcha place in Phoenix!! I come here at least once a week if not more! The staff are so friendly and the drinks are great! My go to is the London fog matcha and I recently tried their fall caramel apple matcha which was also fire! My husband is not a matcha drinker and this is the only place he liked which was the mango sticky rice matcha
Kind of sad how things have changed. I used to go here for their mango sticky rice matcha (as you can see from my previous reviews) and the sizes got significantly smaller and the prices have increased. Both the mango sticky rice matcha and pistachio white mocha tasted quite underwhelming than when I remembered. I don't know what happened to the quality and taste, but I won't be coming back here when they are better options nearby.
It's a good thing I don't live close to here or I'd spend a good chunk of my paycheck here. They've nailed the perfect matcha and Vietnamese coffee for Arizona. There's a parking lot, but it can get quite busy on weekends. I've never seen a matcha with mango sticky rice, but they've captured it well to the point it's almost like dessert. Once I learned their new Aloha Matcha special consisted of passion fruit, mango, and earl grey - I couldn't order this fast enough. There's free WiFi to connect to if you plan on staying longer!
I have never been to a place with so many flavors of Vietnamese coffee! We got the pandan and Saigon Vietnamese coffee--super delicious without being over sweet or over stimulating. They have a lot of great drinks that are unique, I would definitely come back here again and try them all. It's pretty popular on the weekend in an unmarked plaza with decent amount of seating. Options for ordering at the counter or iPad for convenience. They don't have bahn mi sandwiches like an older review mentioned but they do have ready made cold cut sandwiches and freshly made açaí bowls. A pleasant surprise and our go-to for Vietnamese coffee at this point!
This was our first time trying out Cafe Mollie and it did not disappoint. They have a very inviting atmosphere that seems just perfect for coffee time and break. They have real plants placed in different areas of the cafe and everything seemed to be well maintained. Today we tried four different flavored Vietnamese coffees- pandan, ube, sea salt, and egg foam. All of the flavors were on point but one flavor that left an impression on me was the pandan flavor. It wasn't too sweet, yet you can taste the pandan flavor and it was easy to drink. If you haven't had Vietnamese coffees before and you are in Arizona, looking for caffeine refill, I highly recommend you go check out Cafe Mollie. This place offers plenty of free parking spaces.
Great service and love the drink selection. I always stop here to get the iced mango sticky rice matcha!
Just another amazing experience at Cafe Mollie! This time we got two egg coffees and two salt coffees. In all my visits here, nothing on the menu is a miss. Staff is friendly and inviting, and they create a welcoming environment in their little store.
The matcha here was the perfect green. I'm very critical when it comes to matcha, and this place really nailed it on the spot. I will say though the matcha was a bit strong/bitter to our liking, but it was still good. The service was standard nothing special. We ordered on their kiosk, which imo is easy when you want to customize your drinks. Ambiance is was clean and green! Cute area to have coffee with friends or read a book :)
Ube coffee was delicious! Definitely worth stopping in for. Came in Wednesday before noon and there was a good amount of foot traffic. Lots of laptop folks working so it felt like a chill study/work spot. The lady who took my order was really nice and even told me about flavor options not listed on the menu. I already knew I wanted the ube coffee though. She mentioned it's sweetened with condensed milk and doesn't use regular milk... I said BET. So good. The space is bright and modern with plants, big windows, and lots of seating. Cute place to hang out for a bit. I'd definitely come back to try more coffee, matcha, and their açaí bowls. Only bummer was they don't have any pastries.
Tried Café Mollie for the first time and I'm already planning my return trip. I ordered the iced mango sticky rice matcha and I'm not being dramatic when I say it was life changing--perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and somehow nostalgic and refreshing all at once. Service was quick and friendly, which I always appreciate. Plenty of parking made it easy to pop in, and the space itself is airy with lots of seating--great for working remotely or catching up with a friend. If you're a matcha lover or just looking for a unique treat in PHX, Café Mollie is a must-visit. read more

I drove along way during traffic hour after work. I ordered the horchata latte for me and my mom paid $14.18 for mainly ice I was only able to get a couple sips. I'm a regular but this deff ruined my experience not worth the drive or money. If i wanted a cup of ice ilI would have went to circle K read more

We had a very peaceful and great time at Cafe Mollie. They have a convenient parking lot out front and a short walk to the Cafe. The service was very friendly and patient, as it was our first time here. They have an iPad kiosk where you can place your order. I ordered the strawberry matcha, it wasn't super sweet, but DELICIOUS. We also enjoyed the vanilla infused cold brew. Plenty of seating and seems like a quiet place to work or meet a friend. Will definitely visit again! read more

Been here a few times so far and found that a lot of their drinks are either a hit or miss and pretty inconsistent. However, I am a huge fan of fun rotating asian inspired flavor drinks, and this cute little cafe satisfies that need. Out of all my visits, my most favorite drink I've tried so far was the black sesame matcha. The foam was really good and nutty and they offer some of the best quality matcha I've had in Phoenix. I've also had their pandan matcha (weak in pandan flavor and matcha wasn't as strong) and the black sesame banana latte (good banana flavor, foam wasn't as good this time). Their egg coffee is solid too. The parking lot is small so there is limited parking during peak hours, but there are many other lots nearby. It gets busy so working here could be a struggle as the shop is small, but they provide wifi and there is always a few people with laptops. I love coming here to catch up with friends! read more
Super cute place, it was very busy but it's worth waiting. I got the toasted coconut matcha and added pumpkin spice. I loved the flavor and it was very refreshing. My daughter got the black sesame match, it was pretty simple but after the first few sips it got allot better, just a unique flavor. I wish it was dog friendly the patio said no dogs so that was a bummer since we brought our dog to sit outside. read more

The Banana Bread was delicious. Fresh and a good portion for the price. I ordered an iced lavender vanilla matcha with oat milk, I was asked how sweet I want it and requested it on the sweeter side, the only reason I'm knocking a star is because while the matcha itself was good there was very little lavender or vanilla flavor which was disappointing read more

What a vibe! I loved it at Cafe Mollie. We came at a busy time on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by a wonderful girl taking orders at the counter. We chatted for a few and she told me about the mango sticky rice matcha and I just had to try one. We also ordered a matcha latte as well. We lucked out to find the last open seating for two while we waited. While on the smaller side it didn't feel stuffy. The bright decor made it feel so much larger. Our drinks were out fast and were delicious. Parking was a sinch as well so I'd definitely call this place a win for me.if you don't like matcha they of course also offer cold brew, espresso, Vietnamese coffee and more. read more

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to study with a friend, and this place was popping, despite being a relatively small space. I ordered the Pandan coffee, which was overall good, but I wasn't impressed. The coffee and pandan foam were weaker than I'd want. Will keep my review to 4 stars as it's the only Vietnamese coffee shop with Asian flavors (pandan, foam, egg, etc) that I've found in Phoenix so far. Overall, good enough. read more

Fall menu is now available! Tried the white pumpkin and it was delicious. Got the mango sticky rice matcha as always. They were moving super quick today! Really busy, but I still got my drinks really quickly. Place is clean and they updated the furniture a little bit. read more
I got the seasonal Vietnamese pumpkin coffee and Vietnamese coffee. The pumpkin foam was a nice touch, it wasn't too creamy too sweet or anything. Overall both coffees were not bad, personally not to my liking but if you like darker less sweet iced coffee this is for you. Lots of nice space inside to sit and study or catch up with a friend. I think next time I'd want to try their seasonal tiramisu drink, that sounds fun read more
Cafe Mollie is one of the best coffee shops in all of the AZ area and they are known for their Vietnamese inspired drinks! This spot is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modern and spacious interior filled with greenery and plants. For their menu, they have a nice selection of different coffee, matcha, and seasonal speciality drinks. Wifey and I pulled up after a long drive from Cali for our first drinks of the day. We opted to try two of their new speciality drinks: the Toasted Coconut Matcha and the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. Both drinks were rich and decadent with the right balance of not being too sweet! Overall, we are glad we finally got the chance to stop by and check them out. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Cafe Mollie should definitely be on the top of your list for your next coffee run in AZ! read more

Went here on a colleague's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did. I love the matcha--it tastes exactly how real matcha should. It's authentic, with that perfect natural bitterness that true matcha is known for. This is the real deal. 100% recommend. It's very aesthetic, clean, and perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The service was excellent as well, friendly . read more
A local cafe featuring Vietnamese coffee and boba tea, plus experimental drinks, and pastries. They were super packed when we got there (signs of this place is where is it). Place is very cute. I got the Matcha Latte, it was very good. Parking and inside seating are limited. Everyone else in our group loved their drinks. Need to go back to try more. read more

Has been on my to go list for a while and finally I stopped by with some friends from out of town. We all got something different and we all liked our drinks. I got the mango sticky rice matcha and it was well balanced. My friend who is married to a Vietnamese got the Vietnamese coffee and she gave it her seal of approval. I like that they have good parking. Service was good. Knocking one star down because I feel they go really heavy on the ice. read more

I've been here 3 times now, I will say the matcha isn't really the best. I think the coffee is better. I came here this morning, there was 1 person in front of me ordering and once it was my turn I ordered 2 pandan matchas and that was it. I waited for my drinks to be ready and people kept coming in and ordering, there were like 4 different orders, and I noticed the people who ordered after me were getting their orders first. I thought I might have missed when they called out my drinks so I moved seats to see if they were there and they weren't. So I kept waiting and a new person came in and ordered, immediately when she got done ordering they made her drink and I was still there just waiting. I eventually decided to get up and ask about my drinks which is absurd. Turns out they 'forgot' about my drinks. Obviously this made me upset because I was waiting there and they didn't care. I don't think I'll be coming back if this is the way they treat their customers. The only thing that's good about this place is their coffee, I liked the egg coffee and banana sesame seeds coffee, but I don't think the coffee is THAT good to be dealing with bad customer service. There are better coffee shops that have better drinks. read more

was in the area and craving matcha so decided to get cafe mollie another visit. the seasonal flavor this time was berries chantilly, and i absolutely loved it! the chantilly cream on top was divine, and the berry puree paired with the matcha beautifully! my friend got the vietnamese coffee with brown sugar and mentioned it was really tasty and, of course, caffeine packed. looking forward to coming back and trying the other flavors but man, that chantilly cream was a showstopper! read more

I am HOOKED on the mango sticky rice matcha! I'm glad I found this spot right before the summer hit, because now I have a go to spot for a nice refreshing drink. It was pretty crowded when I went, so it looks like this spot is a crowd favorite. Looking forward to trying some of their other drinks on the menu. read more
Was in the area and a friend recommended this place and told me I have to try the mango sticky rice! I didn't know it was a matcha drink!!! Anyways had to give it a try! When we got here there were lines out the door so it was busy! But the space isn't that big either. They have interesting matcha flavors wanted to give all of them a try but could only pick two so chose the Ube matcha as well. I'd definitely get the mango sticky rice again! Ube wasn't as refreshing. It was more chalky tasting. I'd definitely come back and try the other flavors! read more

This is such a cute coffee place! I've tried several drinks and really like their matcha. Too bad so many other people have figured out that this place is so good. It's getting hardly to find a place to sit. Service is great too. The place is super clean. I also love how there are some many great stores in this little area. So if you can't find a seat, take it outside now that the weather has turned to gorgeous or stroll into the other nearby cute stores. read more

Decided on getting drinks here since we were in the area. I brought my friend along and we were excited to try them out. Parking was a bit hectic since the plaza was busy. There aren't that many spots so people were driving around like sharks. We got lucky and only waited about 5 minutes for a spot. We walked in and it also was busy! Almost every table was occupied and people were on their computers. The worker quickly greeted us and let us look over the menu. We ordered: One iced thai tea One iced energy drink that consisted of mango and passion fruit A table cleared up so we grabbed it right away. There were some cute stickers for sale that I was so tempted to buy buut I had to stop myself hehe. Our drinks were made right away and we had some small talk with the friendly cashier. The drinks were both really good. My Thai tea was refreshing, creamy, and it satisfied the thirstttt. My friends drink was super good and he really enjoyed the recommendation of adding mango flavoring to the drink. Overall we had a good time. Will be back! read more

I hope you find your sunny angel.
This was my second time here and I'm hooked. I had the Ube matcha and it's probably the best matcha I've ever had. I'm not sure if it's just a seasonal flavor but I hope it's a permanent flavor. The shop is very cute and inviting. The employees are very friendly. If you haven't tried this place you should. I can't wait to go back. read more
I've had Cafe Mollie on my list for a while now, but couldn't make myself take the 45+ minute drive from my house. Fortunately, my husband and I were in Phoenix last weekend and found ourselves only ten minutes away. We arrived late morning on a Sunday and were pleased to see a parking lot with ample spots available. The cafe was bustling and there was a short line when we walked in. However, it moved quickly, just enough for us to decide on what to order. I wanted to try the pho coffee, but it was no longer on the menu. I opted for the ube coffee and my husband chose the black sesame latte. The ube coffee comes with dark roast coffee, condensed milk, and topped with ube cold foam. It was delicious and had great ube flavor. The cold foam had a rich ube flavor, but was a tad too sweet for me. The black sesame latte comes with espresso, white chocolate, milk, and topped with black sesame cold foam. My husband requested it less sweet, but could have done with even less sweetness. Nonetheless, the latte was enjoyable. The space is bright and inviting. The staff was friendly. We would try them again if we're back in the area. read more

This place was very busy but the line moves very quick! We ordered some teas and a matcha milk tea. All were delicious. I also ordered a grilled chicken Banh Mi. It took about 25 minutes for us to get the sandwich and there was other food orders going out that were ordered after ours. So I assume they somehow overlooked ours. Once we got it, it was pretty good. Just the right amount of spice for me but I feel like it could've used a bit more filling. Still very tasty. The cafe itself has plenty of seating, free WiFi and even some out door space to sit. read more
A friend from Phoenix highly recommended Cafe Mollie, so I stopped by while in town to get some work done and try their drinks. I got a matcha, and my friend opted for the egg coffee. The space is cozy, filled with plants, and perfect for working or just relaxing and catching up with friends. I went for the ube matcha, and it was really good ! Not overly sweet, with a perfect balance of flavors. My friend loved the egg coffee as well. The staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back to try different drinks :) ! read more

Staff was so friendly, (and they were playing boygenius iykyk) and the matcha is so delicious! It tastes high quality, which makes it worth it for the price! I got the pandan matcha latte, and the cold foam is addicting; I will be back! Their menu was full of unique flavors and Vietnamese flavors, which is awesome to see. read more
First time getting the sandwich. 8.50? That's a decent deal. It's about $7 at a legit sandwich shop so not a big overpay. A higher end sandwich and not as stuffed as traditional viet sandwiches but all the flavors are there. I would definitely order again read more
My first strawberry matcha and surely not my last! The service here is so friendly and welcoming. The shop is adorned with special adorable touches. But most importantly if you're looking to fix your matcha craving this is the stop. The barista let me know their matcha is imported straight from Japan and suggested the strawberry purée addition. It was my favorite matcha I've ever had! Highly recommend it read more
Don't let the reviews deceive you. Cafe Mollie is not as good as people say. My wife and I visited to try the Matcha Mango Sticky Rice drink. Not even sure why they name it sticky rice - there is no sticky rice. The matcha and mango also don't mix that well - it's a bit sour. The service was alright. They forgot the bánh mi that we ordered so we had to walk up and ask for it again. The inside is modern and aesthetic but there is no where to sit/study- it's too busy. read more

My boyfriend and I love a good coffee shop! Cafe Mollie has a lot of Asian inspired beverages (think matcha, taro, black sesame, Vietnamese coffee) and I am a fan. I ordered an iced matcha latte with ube cold foam and I loved it so much that we went back the next day so I could try a different drink. I went with the black sesame matcha latte, and was a little too overwhelmed with the black sesame. (That drink only comes in the bigger size!) My boyfriend ordered a taro coffee and did not enjoy it too much. He's not a sweet drink fan, but it tasted too much like root for his liking. Regardless, I want to try other variations of drinks. The shop itself is so cute! It is very aesthetically pleasing, and there are quite a few options for seating. There are a selection of banh mi sandwiches, but I think adding pastries to the menu would definitely level this place up. Overall, I'd rate it a 3.5! read more
We got 16 oz ube coffee (left) and mango sticky rice matcha (right). The coffee was strong and authentic, mango sticky rice was on the sour side. We went on a Sunday so the shop was very crowded and loud (the line went out of the shop), and there were not enough tables to sit/study. read more

I seriously can't stop thinking about this place--it's easily my favorite coffee shop right now! The Pandan Vietnamese Coffee is unbeatable in my opinion. Bold flavor with the perfect touch of sweetness from the cold foam without being too much. We also tried the Strawberry Matcha and were really impressed. The strawberry purée tasted fresh--not like the artificial syrup you get at most places. We asked for an extra scoop of matcha, and they were super accommodating. Definitely recommend this one if you're into a stronger matcha flavor. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! read more
