We went here after an appointment to get a boba. They didn't ask like most places do the level of sweetness. I did request mine be less sweet, which was still VERY sweet and my boyfriend didn't make a request and it was incredibly sweet. We did order the egg rolls which sounded Vietnamese style. I got a matcha milk tea 6/10 And a passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba 9/10 2 drinks was $14, not out of the ordinary. I was satisfied. The family is running it themselves and they're nice people. I came right before closing time and they were still ready to make whatever we needed even with chairs on tables. :) read more

This was my second time, I am not a fan but my 12 year old daughter is. The place is always super clean, great ambiance and menu. Even though I don't know how to read the menu to order , the staff is always soooooooo helpful. And made my ordering easier . I order the Okinawa with coffee jelly, omg!!!! It was delicious. If you want to try something new that kids love I recommend this place . read more

I came in at 730pm to get boba with a friend since I checked that they don't close til 9pm. I got a taro milk tea with regular boba at 25% sweetness and it was very average but a bit warm. We waited several minutes to place our order as the worker was making a few other drinks. We sat down and at 815pm the worker started turning customers away claiming that they were closed. They started wiping the floors and putting the chairs up so by 830pm we just decided to leave. I probably wouldn't bother to come back here if I wanted to enjoy my boba in the store. read more

The service was great! The two young men were helpful, patient (it was in first time) and kind. The pho was very good-- I generally prefer vegetable pho and usually I get some carrots and broccoli swimming in the big bowl of broth and noodles. Here I got cauliflower, bok choy, broccoli, carrots and onions filled to the rim! It was so good! My daughter had the shrimp pho and she's super picky... And she thought it was very very good. Boba Whaaat is finally open! Came in to try their milk teas & they did not disappoint! I was immediately greeted as I walked in & helped by the owner! We got the Okinawa milk tea (HIGHLY recommend) & their assam milk tea. Both were so good & definitely met my expectations. I am excited to come & try their food next time I come!! First impressions are everything and this boba shop made a great one! The passion fruit green tea had a pleasant flower note at the end of each sip. Tonight we sampled the egg rolls which were 3 for $5 and were accompanied by a yummy sauce! We also had an opportunity to try their beef pho which you can tell by the smell is made in house. Aside from being happy with all of the food and beverages we sampled and the fact the shop is clean and modern. We are thrilled that we have a boba/pho shop in close proximity! would not recommend taro milk tea. customer service was great. Cat was super sweet and very welcoming. I got taro milk, tea, which I have gotten many places one of my go to's out of a few favs usually. This tasted like sweet milk. I explained how I like my tea/flavor of the tea to be pretty strong apparently there was even an added scoop of taro with that being said I can only imagine imagine how it would of been with out any extra taro NOT a Fan. I am assuming based off of that that their tie tea would be just as sweet and not flavorful :( read more

I visited a few days ago. The drinks I ordered didn't taste as expected, and I was a very disappointed. They seemed lacking flavor and too watered down. Also I noticed the place was super dirty and the service from the person at the counter wasn't good. He was sitting down watching the television. Seemed lost and confused when I placed my order. I usually come for the friendly baristas. But this visit wasn't good at all. I will be making the drive up to my usual Boba spot because the baristas there know what they're doing. read more

This place is a little disappointing. I had their popcorn chicken and peach green tea. Popcorn chicken didn't look like the popcorn chicken I was used to in all of the other boba places I've been too.. and they gave me a few pieces. (As seen on pic I took). This one is a little different. It's more of like an orange chicken .. The taste wasn't as great. It tasted plain to me and the sauce didn't make it any better. I did like the peach green tea. I expected that green tea base with the peach flavor. I'm glad that's something that I liked at least. I paid about $15 for my drink and chicken. Don't think I'll be back. I truly wanted this to be a hidden gem, and it just fell flat. The drinks were insanely sweet, even after ordering 1/2 sweet; literally drinking syrup. The taro was very artificial tasting, the house milk tea barely tasted of tea, and the boba was not the right consistency. Service was also pretty slow and some of the staff didn't seem to be familiar with the menu - these are forgivable to me. The poor quality of the drinks is not. read more

If you love boba, you MUST come here! Same owner as the nail salon about two doors down. She's awesome! This place is really cute. They offer some food options as well, which is cool. If I had more time I would have definitely gotten some egg rolls. :D next time. They have all different varieties of yumminess you can enjoy in your drink, it was hard to decide!! This place is a solid 3.5 stars for me! Was in the area and wanted to get some boba. The inside was decorated with cute art and the staff was very friendly! The drinks were...not my cup of tea I got one of their specialty drinks, the su lee milk tea, which I was told was a mix of black tea and wintermelon, topped with brown sugar boba. The drink was way too sweet for my liking; I couldn't taste much of the tea since the brown sugar syrup overpowered everything else. The boba was mediocre. It seemed like the boba needed to be cooked more. The boba balls were hard & starchy. Actually , I would NOT recommend Boba Whaaat. I'd totally make the drive to Chandler & get my boba from Rapha Tea. If you want poor service & so-so boba, then go to Boba Whaaat. I will never return. read more

Tres Leches is big on community and supporting everyone, especially those who are more vulnerable and being persecuted. There were similar additional signage inside as well. The barista at the register was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the cafe horchata in an OG size (24 oz), and initially wanted it hot but since their horchata is made cold, I got it with light ice instead. My drink was ready within a few minutes and I was on my way. When I sipped my drink, I only tasted the coffee on top so I used my own straw to mix it with the horchata at the bottom. It was delicious and hit the spot on a warm day. I love the combination of the sweet rice drink and the bitter coffee. I love 3LC and respect them for their community work, especially against ICE and supporting Palestine. Will def be back! Wishing them all the success.

The beans are roasted by the owners father in small batches and even sold them by the bag. The bar was clean and John the owner was attending when I came.
