Had the ultimate banh MK with shrimp pork and chicken and definitely underwhelmed but still good. Not the Vietnamese BBQ pork I was looking for (the kind served in bunh hoi plates) but char siu pork with pickled carrots. I wasn't really a fan but the shrimp was big and juicy and food served hot and quickl. They also have a special dessert named the Jen Buns. I was obviously obscenely wowed and couldn't stop screaming about it to my friend. A lady laughed from across the restaurant and came up and asked if my friends and I wanted to know what Jen buns were and she asked me to stand up. I almost obliged until I caught the joke. Will definitely be back to try the food version! Also very impressed at how the menu has expanded to include so many more desserts and other food choices. I will definitely be coming back to try more at this charming spot! read more

SAVE yourself and your money. Do not go here !!! I went in yesterday with my friend and we were really excited to try this place. She got the taro and I got the Thai tea. Right when we took a sip we realized both of our drinks were completely flavorless and tasted very watered down. My friend threw her drink in the trash almost completely full. It was THAT bad. I tried to finish mine cause I didn't want to waste money. Long story short I ended up in the HOSPITAL with servere food poisoning. This place needs to be closed! If you read the reviews it looks like getting food poisoning here is not uncommon. This is a warning for EVERYONE!! read more

this is easily one of the worst Boba places I've ever been to. I got the taro slushy, and I could hardly taste the taro in it and my entire slushy was literally just ice. I had her remake it, and it still tasted just as awful. the girls were super nice but the quality is not there! read more

The boba will satisfy a craving. Popcorn chicken and egg rolls can be a pass. However the young person working the register didn't know what they were doing. After entering the tip amount incorrectly - there's no decimal point as their default- I said to the person "no void" and he put the charge through. No one in the store was trained to reverse the charge. A lady did come promptly from another store to help - but I found it odd 1) folks can't understand "no" 2) no one is trained up to void a transaction. Made for extra unnecessary boba drama. :) Wish there were other close options without having to go to the east valley read more

The tea is always good and the food is too. Consistently clean and friendly service. It's always very cute.

They need to step up their service here. The employees need to dress better and have better attitude towards customers.

My coworkers and I decided to try this place out. We both got the taro milk tea. I have been to many places in they valley and this was the worst taro flavored drink I've ever had. It had no flavor, tasted like watery milk. The boba was not the right consistency either, felt super overcooked and sticky. My coworker got the shrimp spring rolls and those were a mistake. Ended up going into the trash after 1 bite. I would not choose to go to this establishment again, super disappointed. read more

Recommend the frutea boba! The boba is nice and soft, well made. The frutea is very sweet but this can be adjusted, and I love the flavor! My husband ended up taking the avocado slushee I initially ordered since it didn't taste like avocado to us but something artificial like coconut or honeydew? He liked it but I prefer smoothie or tea boba. They were super nice when I didn't like the slushee boba and offered to make a new one for me. Great service! read more

First time here so have to say 4.5!!! Super clean super nice kid working the front! Pretty good menu options even food items! We will definitely try again and learn some new things. read more

Went to Boba Whaaat to get Pho and Boba since it is also a Pho place. We waited 30 minutes and then turns out they forgot our order. The boba was good, nothing special though, but the food was not good at all. We got the Pho and Eggroll combo for $15, which their Pho is not huge actually quite small for charging traditional prices. The broth was vinegary, not rich at all. And the sweet and sour sauce, was only sour. Wouldn't recommend, but chill for boba. read more

Pretty good spot. The meal is a portion size I can handle during lunch. The tea was very refreshing, staff was charismatic. will add to my lunch rotation with coworkers. read more

Usually great. This time 2 boba teas given almost no syrup so basically an expensive glass of milk. Pork sandwich good as always. Either they are going out of business and skimping on syrup or just badly trained employee. read more

Boba was extremely chewy and not edible. The service was not great as well, as they didn't have majority of the things on the menu. Would not recommend. read more

Definitely a great place to try if you love boba! Sooooo many flavours to choose from! And prices are reasonable. Staff accidentally made mine with green tea at first, instead of black, so they re-made it free of charge. So sweet & thoughtful! Absolutely would come back! read more

This is why I no longer will tip up front on the pad . Lunch break destroyed. Ordered pho to go and egg rolls. After 20 minutes the pho comes out. Not to go. Order has to be re done. I ask how long am told 10 minutes. Pho comes out no eggrolls. Another 10 minutes because the oil is not hot. Had the order been placed correctly In the first place it would be. Asked to have card credited back. Girl gets on phone for 3 minutes . No card number read . Simply says manager took care of it from his end. Bullshit. Then the cook brings up my food as I'm leaving and gets made at me. No discount offered or customer service rendered. read more

Very clean, terrible Boba, threw it away, workers long hair loose not appetizing . Small business, would like to support, with changes.

Got the black taro boba tea. Was good but a bit pricey. Cute little shop and the employees were kind.

Great selection of pho and teas of many types. Had the green tea with brown sugar boba. Simply excellent.

I was hesitant to stop today at this shop after a few negative reviews. After my experience, I just want to say wow! This place is awesome, very little wait and the cashier was super cool and brought us our drinks with straws! So glad to have your place as a new staple to our home we call Arcadia! Thank you guys! read more

1 star for the lack of knowledge and information the girl at the front had, the scam that is there POS (point of sale) machine which indicates a higher dollar amount than the percentage it's requesting you tip, the health code violation, consistency of the boba and the lack of concern the manager/owner had when this was brought to his attention. There were shrimp spring rolls sitting out on display directly in the counter (no temp control), that can end up making someone really I'll. A guy came out eating a glazed donut in which he sat in the counter of syrup to finish after making my milk tea, but not before washing his hands. No hand washing after licking the sticky sugar from his fingers before scooping the powder into the mixing cup for my drink. He even overfilled it and leveled it off with his bare hand. The POS asks if you want to ripe 15%, 25% or 35% however the dollar amount indicated was much higher than the percentage. There was hair in the displayed toppings. I told the manager about the food being consumed while making the drink, as he was sitting at a table in the dining area what happened and he brushed it off and said "oh but he'll wash his hands"...umm but he didn't and I can care less what they do after making my food but during, I'm gonna say something. This place sucks! read more

Cool boba spot that finally opened in Camelback East Village! I believe this is one of the only proper boba spot in this area. I tried the Okinawa milk tea, and I did like it! The boba was also soft and seemed freshly cooked. I forgot to adjust the sweetness, however, which ended up making the drink too sweet for my tongue. I would definitely reorder and adjust the sweetness to 50%. The workers there were incredible and friendly; and they actually ended up gifting me and my friend a Taro Milk Tea because they accidentally made it when they did not need to. Who's gonna refuse a free boba right?? The taro milk tea is also quite decent. Overall it's a pretty good place and I would recommend trying this place out, and I would not mind coming back (if you've been following my reviews you probably know that a certain other boba place have stolen my heart), especially since it's pretty conveniently located. read more

Extremely rude staff, terrible boba. Do yourself a favor and go to any other boba shop in the valley.

The Whaaat Milk Tea was just alright or a little watered down. The popcorn chicken should be seasoned a little bit more because the taste was a tad bit bland. The person taking the order was nice and respectful. The place was nice and quiet, good place to catch up with family and friends. As a Cali Native who is visiting AZ, Boba still wins back home. read more

This place was soooo freaking good. One of my favorites. I got the Okinawa milk tea with boba and it was so good I wanted to buy another. The boba was the perfect texture, and the drink was full of flavor! read more

There is always a wait because the same one girl (who is awesome btw) taking all the orders is also making all the drinks. The tables are often dirty because the establishment seems to not want to hire anyone else to help make drinks or clean the tables.. we come here often & it's the same. However the atmosphere is calm a& the music is great and more importantly, drinks are ALWAYS Good! read more

Used to be great. Last couple of times given less and less flavoring to boba teas. Just today given 2 teas with almost none at all. Just glasses of milk with almost no taste at all. What a rip off read more

They were very nice! They are brand new and I stopped in just to look. I'm excited to try it when they are open!

I honestly forgot I went to this place until I was just notified by yelp about it, that's how little I care about this place. I waited over 20 minutes for a boba tea that took only 1 minute 30 seconds to make. I don't know what it was. The was just ok as well. I ordered two drinks as well, but due to miscommunication (or the owner half ass listening to me) I only revived one very basic yet expensive drink, i explained this to her and thankfully another was made but at this point the damage was done. If I am paying you money I deserve top notch service whether it's a small tea or a full meal. This has been my Ted Talk! read more
