Cute but busy cafe I love a good matcha and Vietnamese coffee shop. It is located in a cute little plaza with limited parking. I tried the pandan coffee, pandan matacha and ube matcha. Drinks were done super quickly even at their busiest weekend time. The matcha and coffee was great! Strong robust taste. I just wish I could taste the pandan flavoring more. I will def come back to try their other drinks like their seasonal banana latte Environment: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Service: 5/5
Drinks are a tad overpriced for what you get in terms of size in comparison to competing cafes. I got the pistachio white mocha which had a unique taste of pistachio and white chocolate, but the coffee seemed to have an underlying sour taste. Service was nice and quick despite it being a busy morning. There is inside and outside seating , along with multiple chairs and tables but do be aware that it is usually busy and loud. Something to keep in mind if you are looking to do some focused work. I also tried the mango sticky rice matcha which I enjoyed more than the white pistachio mocha. Had some pretty good strength of matcha and wasn't entirely overpowered by the sweetness of the mango.
Probably the best matcha I've had in phoenix so far! We arrived in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. We snagged a table and our drinks came out super quick. First of all, I love the cups. The rounded bottoms are so cute and it is the perfect size. We ordered the horchata latte and the matcha coconut cloud. Both were amazing. The matcha coconut cloud was refreshing, the perfect sweetness level, and the matcha flavor came through from the foam (which isn't always the case with this drink). My friend also enjoyed her horchata latte. I love that they have flavors like black sesame and pandan which I 100% need to come back to try. Ratings Matcha coconut cloud: 4/5 Horchata latte: 5/5
I have been here A LOT. We live nearby and it's our favorite coffee shop to visit. They used to be super Duper busy, but always very quick. We've tried a lot of different things on the menu, but my favorite will always be the regular strawberry Matcha, they also always have seasonal flavors which is really fun, and helps me try new things since I go so much. Their banana pudding Matcha is very popular and I missed it last year, so I got it this time, soooo delicious. They also sell the banana pudding by itself which is also a great snack/dessert. The Matcha is sometimes inconsistent here, I've had more hits than misses, but it's something to consider since their drinks are pretty expensive. When it's not too busy this is the perfect place to study or work, it's really cute inside and has great ambience!
My all time favorite matcha place in Phoenix!! I come here at least once a week if not more! The staff are so friendly and the drinks are great! My go to is the London fog matcha and I recently tried their fall caramel apple matcha which was also fire! My husband is not a matcha drinker and this is the only place he liked which was the mango sticky rice matcha
Kind of sad how things have changed. I used to go here for their mango sticky rice matcha (as you can see from my previous reviews) and the sizes got significantly smaller and the prices have increased. Both the mango sticky rice matcha and pistachio white mocha tasted quite underwhelming than when I remembered. I don't know what happened to the quality and taste, but I won't be coming back here when they are better options nearby.
It's a good thing I don't live close to here or I'd spend a good chunk of my paycheck here. They've nailed the perfect matcha and Vietnamese coffee for Arizona. There's a parking lot, but it can get quite busy on weekends. I've never seen a matcha with mango sticky rice, but they've captured it well to the point it's almost like dessert. Once I learned their new Aloha Matcha special consisted of passion fruit, mango, and earl grey - I couldn't order this fast enough. There's free WiFi to connect to if you plan on staying longer!
I have never been to a place with so many flavors of Vietnamese coffee! We got the pandan and Saigon Vietnamese coffee--super delicious without being over sweet or over stimulating. They have a lot of great drinks that are unique, I would definitely come back here again and try them all. It's pretty popular on the weekend in an unmarked plaza with decent amount of seating. Options for ordering at the counter or iPad for convenience. They don't have bahn mi sandwiches like an older review mentioned but they do have ready made cold cut sandwiches and freshly made açaí bowls. A pleasant surprise and our go-to for Vietnamese coffee at this point!
This was our first time trying out Cafe Mollie and it did not disappoint. They have a very inviting atmosphere that seems just perfect for coffee time and break. They have real plants placed in different areas of the cafe and everything seemed to be well maintained. Today we tried four different flavored Vietnamese coffees- pandan, ube, sea salt, and egg foam. All of the flavors were on point but one flavor that left an impression on me was the pandan flavor. It wasn't too sweet, yet you can taste the pandan flavor and it was easy to drink. If you haven't had Vietnamese coffees before and you are in Arizona, looking for caffeine refill, I highly recommend you go check out Cafe Mollie. This place offers plenty of free parking spaces.

Just another amazing experience at Cafe Mollie! This time we got two egg coffees and two salt coffees. In all my visits here, nothing on the menu is a miss. Staff is friendly and inviting, and they create a welcoming environment in their little store.
The matcha here was the perfect green. I'm very critical when it comes to matcha, and this place really nailed it on the spot. I will say though the matcha was a bit strong/bitter to our liking, but it was still good. The service was standard nothing special. We ordered on their kiosk, which imo is easy when you want to customize your drinks. Ambiance is was clean and green! Cute area to have coffee with friends or read a book :)
Ube coffee was delicious! Definitely worth stopping in for. Came in Wednesday before noon and there was a good amount of foot traffic. Lots of laptop folks working so it felt like a chill study/work spot. The lady who took my order was really nice and even told me about flavor options not listed on the menu. I already knew I wanted the ube coffee though. She mentioned it's sweetened with condensed milk and doesn't use regular milk... I said BET. So good. The space is bright and modern with plants, big windows, and lots of seating. Cute place to hang out for a bit. I'd definitely come back to try more coffee, matcha, and their açaí bowls. Only bummer was they don't have any pastries.

Cafe Mollie is the best. Every time we are in Phoenix we have to make a stop for their matcha and coffee. We haven't had a drink that we didn't like. The matcha flavors are so good and unique. My favorite is the pandan but they also have seasonal offerings. The matcha tastes sweet and fragrant rather than bitter and chalky like some other places. Best matcha lattes I've ever had. This will always be a stop for us when in Phoenix! read more

Two things that'll get you far in life: Coffee and Confidence Having anticipated a visit to Cafe Mollie, my two closest friends and I seemingly ordered the whooole menu within a few trips. Black sesame latte, pho coffee, egg coffee, ube coffee, panda matcha, Vietnamese coffee, pistachio latte, mochas, and banh mi burritos have been ordered, consumed, and enjoyed! I love this place something fierce. My go-to order: A pork banh mi burrito with a pho coffee. This place would be so dangerous to my wallet if this place was any closer. Cafe Mollie is easily in my top two favorite places in the valley for coffee. Parking is limited, as well as seating, but this is the kind of place where eating in the car would be acceptable because you gotta do yourself a favor and get a banh mi burrito! read more

Perhaps like others, I was intrigued by the Pho coffee. While I did not get it this visit (and may not get it my next one), I do plan on returning to try other menu items! The ambiance is cute. There are a few tables/chairs. There is WiFi available, although it may not be fast enough to work on, per other Yelpers. I visited during my lunch break and ordered the Pork Bahn Mi Burrito ($12) and Yuzu Peach Tea ($4). My drink came out within a few minutes, and my burrito shortly thereafter. $12 is costly for a burrito, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pork was solid. The runny sunny side egg, delicious. Topped with pickled daikon, carrots, and chunks of jalapeno (not spicy). It was large enough that I ate it for 2 meals. The Yuzu Peach Tea was refreshing. The Yuzu flavor was mild although there was Yuzu jam at the bottom. The tea bag was suspended in place by the plastic top which is smart! read more

Wonderful little coffee shop specializing in Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea's,Boba, Latte, egg coffee, and Matcha. They also have a small Banh Mi menu with Vietnamese sandwiches and burritos. The baristas where very friendly the atmosphere is warm and inviting they have a small seating area to enjoy your coffee. Vietnamese coffee is known for its bold, strong, and rich flavor. The Robusta coffee bean has twice the caffeine compared to most coffee beans they use unique brewing method using a phin filter which is a small, metal filter that is placed directly on top of the cup, and is typically served with condensed milk to balance the bold rich flavor. They are open from 7am to 5pm Mon-Fri. 8am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. read more

A visit to indie Cafe Mollie delivered a welcoming, Instagrammable atmosphere. The space is filled with live plants, a variety of seating and neon signage. Many people were working solo and undisturbed on their laptops while enjoying their coffee. Others were loading take away carriers with colorful iced coffees and matchas mixed with ube or fruit purées. A nice meet-up place for a leisurely visit as well. We ordered an iced pistachio white mocha, strawberry matcha and a chicken bahn mi. The mocha was delicious and flavorful. The matcha, not too sweet and fresh with the brightness and texture of the fruit. The sando was crispy yet delicate and filled with chicken, pate' and all the fixings. Get there before they run out of bread! Food is served only until 4:00. A lovely grass common area outside with seating in the sun is available for perfect Phoenix weather! read more
I heard so much about this place and was eager to try it. At first, I was like oh, I wish someone had mentioned it wasn't a traditional coffee shop but a Vietnamese coffee shop to set my expectations. But oh my gosh, run to this place!! Amazing amazing drinks! I got the vanilla cold brew (like holy wow) with vanilla cold foam. My mom got the coconut latte and one of the sandwiches - both were incredible. I will definitely be back and have already mentioned it to multiple friends - cannot to return and try the egg latte...or just the vanilla cold brew because it was so dang good! read more

The homies and I were on the hunt for a coffee spot and decided to check out Cafe Mollie. Right off the bat, we loved the chill outdoor seating area--perfect for relaxing with a coffee. Inside, there's a decent amount of seating as well, which adds to the cozy vibe. I ordered the Pistachio Latte, but honestly, it didn't live up to my expectations. However, the homies Coconut Matcha drink was incredible--so good, in fact, that I ended up getting the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha for myself. That drink was a total game-changer and completely redeemed the experience. While I can't speak to their other lattes, the matcha drinks are definitely the stars of the menu in my opinion. upon arriving the place is super clean and busy, they have an eccentric variety of items on the menu and for a good price, they also have some chips available for purchase and cute stickers, my son loved the passion fruit lemonade and it had real passion fruit in it! i got a mango sticky rice pandan matcha, the matcha was good but i regret mixing the mango into the drink cause drinking it together tasted a little odd regardless i loved the drink, i cant wait to come back and try more drinks! read more

The cutest, tastiest, most unique drinks in Phoenix. I just keep coming back for more. What a cute place to chat, date, or even study. All workers have been incredibly nice to me every time I go. I am honestly determined to make it through the menu - I have yet to try their delicious looking bahn mi. But as far as drinks go, I'm almost through all of them! Just obsessed. I am a coconut lover and also a matcha lover so they have plenty for me. My favorite so far is the salted caramel coconut latte. DIVINE!!! read more
The drinks here are amazing. The first time I visited, I ordered a decaf black sesame latte and it was delicious. My husband has tried their teas and enjoyed them (yuzu peach). He also got a bahn mi and raved about how amazing it was. I was really looking forward to coming back but the next time we visited, the experience was less amazing. They didn't have decaf (machine broke), the server didn't really know anything for questions we asked, and the two bahn mi's we ordered were terrible. (Bread was huge and stale with barely anything inside - super skimpy toppings- the cilantro was all stems and the meat was slightly discolored.) It was a pretty disappointing experience. I will probably go back and try their drinks but super disappointed about their bahn mi's. The inside is super cute and a cool place to hang out. read more

This review is strictly for the taro matcha that went from a 5 star drink to a 3 star drink overnight . My friend and I have been getting the taro matcha and told half of Phoenix about how delicious this drink is and then came to a sad realization that they changed the taro powder they use to a cheaper version and the taste and quality of the drink suffered to the point we would rather have the lavender matcha at starbucks. :( I asked about the powder becuase I could taste the difference. One of the baristas mentioned that shipping for the higher quality powder was $40 and so they had to switch. Honestly at 8 bucks a drink I think it would be worth it to maintain the quality of your drinks. You sell 5 of them and it has paid for your shipping cost and your customers will be happier. I feel bad for anyone just trying the drink as they will never know how good it originally was and possibly won't even come back if it's the only drink they try. read more

I've been to Cafe Mollie a couple of times since their opening because I loved the concept of their drinks! I love anything matcha, ube, and pandan inspired so I knew that I had to check this place out. I've tried out several of their drinks including the pandan matcha, ube coffee, and sandwiches. I like the pandan matcha more than the ube coffee because I find that their coffee is a little too bitter for my liking. I don't think their matcha is the best either but the pandan definitely makes up for it! This place is worth checking out if you've never been before. It's been getting a lot busier since more people are discovering the cafe out and using it as a study spot. There are a good amount of seats and outlets to get some work done or just to hand out if you come at a good time. The workers are quick to take orders and get drinks out which I appreciate! read more

The drink I got was a pandan matcha which was basically a matcha with cold foam. Very good! It is not overly sweet, and I have a sweet tooth. I was able to ask for extra syrup. They were so sweet about it. Great service did not make me feel bad at all for asking. Recommend! Matcha was not bitter, which was great. I just wanted a little sweeter. Cafe Mollie, you never disappoint! I've been back at this incredible, unique, and adorable cafe far too many times since my initial review. It's the one coffee shop I'm constantly craving despite being totally out of my way! It hits every. single. time. My new favorite has been the pandan coffee -- PLEASE never get rid of this, Cafe Mollie! Just as with their Vietnamese egg coffee, Cafe Mollie is one of only 2-3 places in the Valley that serves this drink, and it's *by far* the best. The pandan flavor is super prominent -- you can see how much flavorful foam is on top of the drink -- and perfectly compliments the strong Viet coffee. To follow up with my prior review, I do want to mention that I did not in fact get the desert blossom green tea I ordered the first time -- I later learned the drink I received a yuzu peach tea, which was *so* good and now my favorite tea on the menu. Honestly, there never was a better mistake. However, the desert blossom green tea was pretty delicious and refreshing too when I did get it correctly. Also have been very happy with the Viet food options they've experimented with in recent months :) Hope more items stick so this becomes an even more well-rounded cafe experience! read more
Cafe Mollie is serving up some delicious drinks!! The place is easy to find and was already busy about 10 minutes after opening. It's bright and clean with smiling employees. I opted for the white pumpkin latte. It was served with a delicious cold foam and had great flavors and no bitterness from the beans. Genuinely some of the best matcha I've tried. I was especially excited to see pandan matcha as I haven't found that offering anywhere else and it was delicious. I love pandan so anytime I get a chance to have it, I will take it. My friend got the ube matcha and that was really nice too. The flavor combinations were really well done and the matcha was good quality. It also comes in a pretty big size! We got a bahn mi too and that was pretty flavorful and goes well with the matcha. Saw this place all over TikTok and it had good reviews so my husband and I decided to try it out. I ordered the matcha latte with almond milk and honey and he order the pandan matcha with oat milk. The cashier was not friendly at all. She literally said "what do you want?" when taking our order. All the workers were just flirting with each other and standing on their phones. It took 15 minutes to make 2 drinks and it wasn't even busy. My drink literally tasted like nothing. I could not taste any matcha, only a little bit of honey. My husband liked his drink a bit more but it just tasted like sweet rice and not matcha. Very disappointed considering it was also $10 per drink! read more

Ah Cafe Mollie is a sweet oasis! Great lattes if ube, coconut, or matcha is your go-to. I asked for an ube latte with coconut cold foam, and they delivered! (While the layers are beautiful, don't forget to mix it well! Tastes dreamy all mixed.) Also, had the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi with a fried egg. It's huuuge! (Twss.) The staff is very friendly and welcoming! All genuine smiles here. If you want a warm cafe with a vietnamese twist then come on in. WiFi is available and so is comfortable seating. Coffeee is great, has that strong coffee taste and slight viscosity associated with the classic Viet iced coffee. The pandan cream top is just a cream top though, slight pandan smell if you sniff it but no actual pandan flavor when you drink the coffee. Pass on the sandwich though. It's a well priced sandwich but the bread to filling ratio makes taking each bite a fight to break it off (I do have a weak jaw though vv) it has 3 slices of meat- one of each of the classics, a few slivers of cucumber and some picked veg. If you want a sandwich try another boba shop or sandwich shop .x. read more

I've heard people raving about this place and have been wanting to come ever since. I finally had the chance today as I was in the area already! Located in a small modern-looking plaza just off the main road, Cafe Mollie can be easy to miss so make sure you take the right turn. But once you're in the parking lot you'll see a huge sign. I came in to a cute, modern, hipstery vibe and I loved it. It's very minimalistic with plants and almost a boho chic vibe. I loved it! The barista was very sweet and answered my questions about the difference between the Vietnamese and Saigon coffees - I got the Saigon Latte and enjoyed it, though I will say I wish it was a little bit sweeter. It isn't very sweet so if you have a sweet tooth I would ask to make it a bit sweeter. I do wish they had pastries/food items as I had seen it in previous pics and had hoped to grab a bite as well. But overall still great experience and I would definitely come back! read more

I had high hopes for the Vietnamese egg coffee and especially to have a Vietnamese cafe driving distance from me. The egg part on top of the coffee was tasty but was barely torched (the goal is to get it a bit caramelized) but the coffee below it was so unbelievably sweet I had a hard time drinking it. I do understand there is condensed milk in it but I've had typical Vietnamese coffee where the coffee itself is bold enough to hold up to the condensed milk. I'm sad to say for $7 I don't think the value or taste was there. I recommend noting on the menu that the drinks come sweet (and if possible to order less or no sweet). I also arrived hungry, knowing from their insta they aren't serving banh mi for a few weeks, but assuming they'd have even a pastry to snack on. They didn't have anything except chips; super disappointing :( I think I'd return to try the banh mi but I don't think I'd be able to stomach the searingly sweet drinks. Other than that the service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Cute little trinkets and decor too. read more
Their matcha is probably the best I've found in the valley so far. The first time I visited, the staff was incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, the woman at the register was noticeably rude. I simply asked if I could get the sticky mango rice matcha with nonfat milk instead of coconut milk, and she responded in a very dismissive tone, saying, 'If you don't like coconut, this drink isn't for you.' It wasn't that I didn't like coconut. I just preferred a different milk. I ended up ordering the strawberry matcha instead, which was delicious, and my sister actually got the sticky mango rice matcha and enjoyed it. Still, the interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. As a matcha lover, I was amazed by all the matcha variations on their menu! They offer other unique Asian flavors, including black sesame matcha & taro latte. The mango sticky rice matcha was fire! The coconut overpowers the matcha but wow, it truly tasted like the Thai dessert in a cup. I'd skip the taro matcha next time bc it just tasted like ube flavoring read more

I don't know why tiktok is lying but their matcha is what they're known for and it's really disappointing, the flavors look great, they've got Mango and strawberry matcha and it looks great the color isn't alarming but the taste is bland and weak, you can only really taste that fruit at the bottom and it breaks my heart when I see another influencer recommending this place as the best matcha in az read more

Both were wonderful! The egg coffee was strong and bold. The strawberry matcha was the right mix of strawberry puree and matcha, making it very refreshing. Must visit! read more
