    Private Hot tub
    Mira M.

I love it here! What works: -- the prices for the tubs and drinks are so reasonable! The drinks are far cheaper than what you'd find at a chain cafe -- the hot tubs are private, clean, and comfortable. I really appreciate that they're outdoors and surrounded by trees -- your hot tub time is dedicated to soaking and showering--not changing. They allot an additional half hour for you to be in the changing room, which means that there's no rush to get dressed and more time in the hot tub! -- really friendly and helpful staff -- great variety of drinks. They have something good for coffee lovers, tea drinkers, and kids -- there's the occasional cat that roams around -- the pond in the center of the cafe, and the proximity to downtown, make this a really beautiful and convenient spot to visit -- lots of parking nearby! What didn't work: -- no complaints on my end! If I really wanted to nitpick, I'd suggest that they add 1-2 savory food options to the cafe, just to add some variety -- there's only one restroom on the grounds, so not ideal if more than one person has to go Things to consider: -- there's a small fee for towels but you can bring your own for free -- there's no hair conditioner, just shampoo/body wash, so you'll want to bring that if you need it -- the cafe itself is on the smaller side, so I wouldn't bring a group larger than 4 to hang around

I was real impressed with this place. It's a nice and cozy cafe with a large yard and pond in the back. It also serves as a Finnish spa of some sort with hot tubs and saunas. We ended up booking a hot tub for 1/2 hour and we found it to be super relaxing, private, and clean. The hot chocolate there was reaaaallll good! If you do want to partake in the hot tub and sauna, make sure you plan ahead. It was pretty booked and we were just lucky to be able to take a spot in the middle of the day.

Such a cool spot!! I've never heard of a cafe with private tubs and saunas and now I can't get it out of my head. The cafe is decorated with Finnish touches and feels like a place to retreat and find solace during a storm. The energy is welcoming and warm, and the outside atmosphere is even more delightful. You can rent a private tub for $30 for half an hour, and the tubs are clean and indeed very private. We loved our experience and would love to return next time I'm in the area! Oh, and I can't forget to mention the hot cocoa. It was everything a hot cocoa should be and more.

Cheap tasty coffee and a beautiful place. This is my favorite coffee shop in all of Humboldt. The whole vibe of the place is perfect. With free WiFi so you can mind your own business too. The workers are very cold. This is how a coffee shop should be. Amazing cheap drinks made by people who I'm not sure are trying to destroy me with their mind. Never tried the hot tubs. Though my peers say good things. Don't skip this place. Just amazing. Oh and there's a cat

Magical, mystical, cozy vibes here! Make sure you call for your hot tub reservation early because the lines will be off-the-hook busy the second they open! Or at least that was our experience. We were able to book something for the morning after we called. They open at 11 and the first reservation is at 11:30! We arrived a little early and got to go in as soon as we checked in for hour-long soak. They are cash-only, so be prepared! We spent a slightly drizzly morning in the tubs under the gorgeous trees. So calm and serene and vibrant! We ordered a mocha from the cafe on our way out, which was chocolatey, not too sweet, and piled high with real whipped cream. If you are in Arcata, this is a must-visit spot!

All to myself! You will thank yourself later.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave me a pitcher of water and were all smiles on my visit. I was traveling so I just recommended 2 towels if you do the tub and the sauna right after. And don't forget to add the eucalyptus water for the sauna! This place also has a shower and dressing room so you can get ready for the day. Been coming here since '99. Quite the GEM just know that the phone lines can get busy so keep calling or stop by. Thank you

There's nothing better than coming out of a hot tub or sauna* and sitting outside by the pond with a cup of this hot chocolate on a misty Arcata morning/afternoon/evening. *you don't have to use the tubs or saunas to enjoy the cafe wares. I love this place with all my heart. The hot chocolate is the best!! I highllyyyy recommend paying the extra for the whip. It really *tops* it off! CASH ONLY!

As soon as you walk-in you feel the warmth of a Swedish coffee house. The ambiance is cozy, quiet and intimate. We had made a reservation the day before, for a sauna and hot tub session. We approach counter person, and he checked us in right away. He gave us the direction which was pretty easy to find. each dressing room is very simple and clean. The hot tub water was super clear, they have a shower that you can take before and after with hot and cold water The sauna was very hot with also a private shower to use at your convenience. We did go in and out since it was very hot. It was pretty relaxing before our camping weekend We will definitely come back!! We tried the chocolate covered baklava and the brownie and they were super delicious. Thank you !! I should emphasize that the service is 10 star!!!! Those guys were three and they were doing check-in ,greeting, cleaning and serving and making coffee at the same time. Wow

The only way I will take my hot cocoa is with extra whip cream. :) The barista was very friendly and kind. The cafe is cute and with wide selection of hot drinks. Cash only and they don't give receipts at the cafe. Cozy atmosphere with the wood paneling inside. Perfect for a cozy winter date.

I'm a bit of a coffee snob, so l asked about the beans - they actually brought the bag over and walked me through it. I got an Americano and it was excellent. My wife ordered the Honey Town Latte and loved it because it wasn't overly sweet. Then the food came - I had the ham and cheese croissant and it blew me away. Tangy honey mustard, a bit of pickled onion, melted cheese, and a poached egg on a fresh, toasted croissant. So much flavor. First visit, we had the cafe miel and cheesy Toastie. I never thought I would enjoy honey in my coffee and I'm not even a coffee drinker but this would make me convert. It was perfectly balanced. The Toastie was a simple but tasty snack. I was almost tempted to order another one. I had to go back the next day to have breakfast and try their Cup of Sunshine. Another unique yummy drink if you like chamomile tea with frothy milk/cinnamon on top. I also ordered: Carrot cake muffin - moist and had blueberries on top. Eggy bagel - open faced bagel. Forgot to take a picture before I dove right in. Poached eggs were perfectly cooked, yolk perfectly runny. Puppaccino - my dog gave it a 25/10 (they have a pup menu under Classics! It's small so don't miss it!). Place is kept really nice and clean. Portable speaker placed inside a potted plant - super cute and funny. Love their music choice, chill vibes and I think it keeps the plant happy because it's green and a decent size! Service was super friendly. They even remembered us from our first visit and welcomed us. Definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back if I am ever in the area again.
