Cafe Grano was a nice little discovery for me while walking around downtown Burbank in the weekend, looking for a place to grab a snack and a pick me up coffee. I am glad they are around because I avoid chains as much as possible. They have indoor and outdoors seating, nice decor, good service, decent espresso and great pastries, their muffins look fantastic, the cherry one was delicious. Prices are a tad high, but everything I got had high quality, so it was worth the treat! Next time I'll snap a few photos! Great cafe in the middle of if Burbank! read more

If you haven't been to Café Grano yet, you're seriously missing out. This is the best coffee in Burbank. We got the Pumpkin Spice Latte Hot, Peppermint White Mocha Latte Iced, and the Honey Anise Nutmeg Latte Iced and every single one was the perfect level of sweetness. As an avid matcha drinker I was incredibly disappointed with my matcha latte. I paid $9 for the Kyoto ceremonial matcha for it to just taste like oat milk. If I'm paying that much for matcha I expect it to taste like it. There are much better matcha places in you drive to LA or 30 mins from Burbank to San Gabriel Valley. read more

As we stayed overnight in Burbank we decided to stop here in the morning on our back way home in San Jose. The Soy Cappuccino was brewed beautifully though they only came in the standard 8 oz size. Stumbled across Cafe Grano and I'm so glad I did. I tried three different sandwiches and each one was genuinely delicious--fresh ingredients, great flavor, and super satisfying. I also had their coffee with ice cream, which blew me away. Such a perfect combo and done really well. The place itself has a calm, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay a while. It feels unique--nothing generic about it. Just a really nice spot to enjoy good food and relax. Definitely coming back. read more

This place is great. Great employees, Ashot and Diana, The most important for me is they do have gluten free options. I have to say it was delicious. They made me tea lemonade with ginger and I just Chuck the whole cup because it was so good and I couldn't stop. Their ice cream is soooo delicious you must try all of them. I'm in no way a coffee lover, but this sweet cafe on the corner is perfect for downtown Burbank. Small, but mighty, the clean lines and bright interior, keep the atmosphere hip and fresh. Offering a variety of drinks and beverages, there is something for everyone on the list. Today I wanted to leave a good review for this new cafe spot in Downtown Burbank. I have visited twice so far and each time I ordered both juices and smoothies. Their Wellness Menu is impressive; and the recipe and taste of the juices and smoothies are delicious and refreshing. I love how chill the atmosphere is here, and so far customer service has always been fantastic. Very sweet and humble people and a great addition to our beautiful city. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Came in 30 mins before closing and was greeted by Nico who helped explain all the pastries I had questions about in a knowledgeable and professional way even with the clock ticking down to CLOSING TIME; he was just present and wasn't rushing or cleaning up while talking to me. Nico's chill and (+) demeanor really made a great impact on my experience! I grabbed a Nutella croissant and an almond croissant and both were delicious!! Thought I'd stop by to support a small business cafe versus a Starbucks, but now I'm beating myself over going. I got a Burrata Tricolore panini and a Double Blended Frappe. It was over $30. Very good experience. The cafe is at the corner of the street and very sunny inside--- specifically nice if you are looking for a place to work. Service was very friendly and helpful as well-- I asked for pastry recommendations, and they recommended me the berry muffin, which is very good. I can taste blue berry, with a touch of rose flavor (I guess rose water? Anyway it was very refreshing and yummy). The ginger shot is okay, not the strongest I've tasted, but not bad either. The almond croissant was impressive-- they warmed it up so the almond butter filling was runny and super creamy. Super delicious. We enjoyed it with pumpkin latte which is vegan friendly. We liked both drinks: pumpkin latte and lavender sky--- both were not over sweet, better than other chained brands. The pumpkin latte was surprisingly good because of the obvious pumpkin flavor and not overly sweet-- you want to keep sipping without getting overwhelmed. The lavender sky was good too. It was Earl gray based tea latte--- I saw them using tea leaves made to order. And blue match syrup (which I think is pre-made blue matcha not sweetened). They also had self-made lavender syrup-- I asked for less sweet and the server was nicely considerate. My drink was creamy (from milk froth) and floral. Was very good. In the morning people usually grab and go, so I stayed there to study for the morning. It was pleasant. read more

Yes, the parking here is terrible, but it's hardly the owners fault. I was in Burbank for a meeting that took way longer than expected and hadn't properly caffeinated yet. I went into this place knowing nothing about it. The service was friendly and fast. The coffee was delicious. I'm so glad I took a gamble on someplace new. The flavors are always on point, and the quality never disappoints. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I've noticed is that the pizza sizes have gotten a bit smaller, but the prices are still very reasonable. Each pizza is definitely perfect for one person. I'll absolutely keep coming back and can't wait to try it again.

Then when she came back she forgot and just said "they dnt sell um anymore" She seemed disconnected and so unsure. A waiter should know the menu & what is discontinued. Or at the least find out and return quickly with the info, not take long and come back having forgot to even find out. But ok, no problem we just got our drinks and the café de Olla was good. The food arrived and the rice stood out more than the Chilaquiles. The pancakes were small for the price & didnt have much flavor, once the toppings were gone the pancakes were bland. Came here becus I saw comments online, but I dont think I'd go back, there are many other places with outstanding food & service. The Mexican rice & Café de olla were the standouts of the meal. If you live nearby I could see this being a good place to enjoy a meal, but to come in from farther out isn't worth the drive.

My girlfriend and I stopped by today and had an amazing experience. The chocolate croissant was absolutely delicious fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. We also tried the shaken espresso, which was amazing!! What really made our visit special was the owner. This is first thing in the morning when they opened. It had me looking around at other parts of this coffee shop like behind the counter and on the floor and I don't know what happened since last time but it was grimy. Their grab and go fridge was also nearly empty, which I thought was weird. Did something happen? Anyway, I hope they fix all that because otherwise, this is a great little place with a good menu and nice people who work there.

The young woman at the window greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to explain all of the delicious food they offer. Then we met the owners, who welcomed us like family and made us feel genuinely appreciated. That kind of heartfelt hospitality is hard to find these days, but it's exactly what sets this place apart. We tried the apple fritter, glazed donut, blueberry scone, cinnamon balls, and three different drinks. Every single item was outstanding. The apple fritter tasted just like an apple pie, the blueberry scone was perfectly baked and full of flavor, and the glazed donut was light, fresh, and absolutely perfect. The cinnamon balls reminded us of fresh churros and were a huge hit. As if the food wasn't enough, one of the owners generously gave us a chocolate cookie made with imported chocolate from France. It was incredible--easily one of the top three cookies I've ever had. We'll definitely be coming back for the amazing food, but even more for the kindness and love we felt from the owners.
