I tried a couple of their drinks and I can wholeheartedly say it doesn't taste like other coffees in the best way possible. Service is amazing. Orders were taken fast and drinks came out fast as well. They also give free stickers which I appreciate! Ambiance is great. I've never seen a coffee shop mixed with a barber shop. My wife and I planned a trip to San Francisco, but before we started our long drive to the Bay Area, we stayed the evening with our daughter. The morning we were about to make our trek, our daughter wanted to take us to a coffee shop she recently found. The Hide Room is not only a coffee shop, but it also houses a barber shop. This bald dude wasn't in need of a barber, but having some java was a must before driving for almost 6 hours. The coffee I ordered initially tasted just okay, but there was a delayed response and I enjoyed it. What I enjoyed about my first visit to The Hide Room was the quality customer service from Isaiah, the Filipino gentleman in glasses. The Hide Room is located in Los Angeles, specifically on Victory Blvd. in Burbank. It's a combo shop that houses both a coffee shop and barber shop. It's next to Centanni Italian Restaurant and across from Bright Now Dental. Parking is all street parking. The coffee shop isn't too big with no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating with several yellow metal round tables, metal yellow chairs, and a yellow umbrella for shade. When you walk into The Hide Room, it's pretty cool to see half of the space is a barber shop where the owner was cutting someone's hair and the other half is a coffee joint. Their coffee is sourced from Guatemala, so the decor consists of framed pics of Guatemala images, coffee bean bags hanging, and an ornate, woven cloth attached to another wall. Isaiah, the barista behind the counter provided quality customer service by giving us coffee recommendations and he was so accommodating answering my questions about the business. I think this was the first time for me to see a business that was a coffee shop and barber shop all in one building. Isaiah told me the owner, who was there cutting someone's hair, wanted to incorporate haircuts and coffee in one building. We entered through one door for the coffee shop and if you'd like a haircut, you can continue through another door into what looked like an upscale, old school barber shop. I wasn't sure what to order, but my usual go to at branded coffee shops is a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut. I decided on a mocha with hazelnut flavoring. When I took my first sip, I really couldn't taste the coffee or the hazelnut flavoring. After taking a few more sips, I wished I had asked for it to be sweeter. I guess it takes a little while to appreciate the coffee because I had a delayed response to my coffee from The Hide Room. I actually enjoyed the coffee after drinking it for a little while. I'll need to try one of their signature coffees the next time I visit. I really liked the concept of The Hide Room with its combo coffee shop and barber shop. I no longer need haircuts since I'm bald, but I recommend you check out this hipster spot with its Guatemala coffee and quality customer service from its staff. read more

This coffee shop is a hidden gem in Burbank. This is a small coffee shop, but drinks and desserts are out of this world. I ordered a latte which was perfectly made. Young lady who helped me asked, if I wanted my latte sweet or not. It was the first time I was asked, if I want my latte sweet or not. In other locations, they usually do not ask. If I could , I would give 10 stars for the customer service. Both ladies working there were very friendly and nice. Drink was prepared in less than five minutes. I didn't have to wait long. I also ordered a chocolate cookie. I can say it was the best one I had. It was so good. I will be back for the chocolate cookie. lol For ambiance, this is a pickup/ to go style coffee shop. I came for coffee but got the full living on the street experience as well. This place is the size of a restroom and the coffee takes so long. This must be the craft cocktail version of Burbank coffee. The overall service speed to order is a bit upsetting. Thank god I didn't order anything fancy. Certainly not the cheapest coffee around. Cool spot I bumped into while visiting a salon nearby. It really stands out with the yellow exterior chairs. Very small inside and there is a barbershop/hair salon behind it? Not too sure. The coffee was better than most I've had since moving to LA. There's no indoor seating so you have to grab one of the few outdoor tables. My drink was better once the cold foam blended into the coffee. The baristas gave off a weird vibe when we went in. Like they didn't want to be working? Or maybe they just didn't want us in there? Last Saturday, I visited The Hide Room Coffee for the 1st time. At around 8am, it wasn't busy, and I easily found street parking in front of the coffee shop. The storefront's small since it's connected to a barber shop. It's standing room only, but there's multiple seating areas outside. I thought the staff were friendly and service was quick. I ordered a(n) iced Acatenango Cloud Latte with oat milk, iced Matcha Latte with whole milk, and Coffee Cake. I liked the Acatenango Cloud Latte a lot; it was smooth and had a nice balance of lavender & vanilla flavors. The Matcha Latte was for a family member, but I had a sip and didn't like it as much. The drink was quite milky and the matcha could've been stronger. The Coffee Cake was moist and very sweet, and it tasted better when I warmed it up at home. My son got the Nutella latte iced and loved it , we did ask the barista to make it with half the amount of sweetener they use. The flavor and quality of the espresso is insane and packs a really nice caffeine punch for that much needed pick-me-up.
