Tucked away in Burbank, Hide Room Cafe is a clean 2-in-1 concept blending a coffee spot with a barbershop--executed with an elegant, minimal design and subtle ambiance. Ordered the Orellana's Special with oat milk--freshly made with a smooth cinnamon finish that hits just right. Menu is simple, no fluff. Service was quick and on point. A lowkey spot. Definitely worth tapping into.
The Hide Room may well be the best coffee shop in Burbank. One, the coffee is good, the menu is fun and creative, and the quality is worth the high price of coffee these days. Two, and most importantly, they treat people well. Saw a lady drop her pastry after picking it up at the window, and without hesitation they gave her a new one. It's not about the product at that point, it's about genuine and authentic connection. I see you and you see us. It really is that simple! Shoutout to the culture you all are creating here in Burbank!

This coffee shop is a hidden gem in Burbank. This is a small coffee shop, but drinks and desserts are out of this world. I ordered a latte which was perfectly made. Young lady who helped me asked, if I wanted my latte sweet or not. It was the first time I was asked, if I want my latte sweet or not. In other locations, they usually do not ask. If I could , I would give 10 stars for the customer service. Both ladies working there were very friendly and nice. Drink was prepared in less than five minutes. I didn't have to wait long. I also ordered a chocolate cookie. I can say it was the best one I had. It was so good. I will be back for the chocolate cookie. lol For ambiance, this is a pickup/ to go style coffee shop. There are not any seating area inside. There are several tables outside for seating, enjoying drinks and desserts. Parking, this location does not have private parking or maybe I didn't notice it. There is plenty of street parking. Streets might get busy around noon time.
The coffee was better than most I've had since moving to LA. There's no indoor seating so you have to grab one of the few outdoor tables. My drink was better once the cold foam blended into the coffee. The baristas gave off a weird vibe when we went in. Like they didn't want to be working? Or maybe they just didn't want us in there? Idk but it wasn't friendly and I totally get it, I went to my retail job afterwards, but the attitude isn't necessary. Not running to come back and try the coffee again, that's for sure.

The storefront's small since it's connected to a barber shop. It's standing room only, but there's multiple seating areas outside. I thought the staff were friendly and service was quick. I ordered a(n) iced Acatenango Cloud Latte with oat milk, iced Matcha Latte with whole milk, and Coffee Cake. I liked the Acatenango Cloud Latte a lot; it was smooth and had a nice balance of lavender & vanilla flavors. The Matcha Latte was for a family member, but I had a sip and didn't like it as much. The drink was quite milky and the matcha could've been stronger. The Coffee Cake was moist and very sweet, and it tasted better when I warmed it up at home. I'd visit The Hide Room Coffee again to try their other espresso drinks and limited pastry selection! Glad to have another coffee shop in the community!
Cool spot I bumped into while visiting a salon nearby. It really stands out with the yellow exterior chairs. Very small inside and there is a barbershop/hair salon behind it? Not too sure. I got a honey iced latte and coffee cake. The barista told me the coffee cake if baked by homeboy industries so I was intrigued. It was a big portion but not your typical coffee cake and a lot more crumbly and more cakey? Overall positive experience . My coffee was a little on the sweeter side but I feel like that's an easy adjustment to request next time!

New coffee stop in Burbank so I had to check it out. The coffee here is delicious. I got the cold brew with mocha foam and loved every sip. My son got the Nutella latte iced and loved it , we did ask the barista to make it with half the amount of sweetener they use. I stopped and picked up a coffee on my way home from the car shop in Burbank and the coffee here did not disappoint. It's a small space, no seating, and connected to a barber shop with delicious Guatemalan coffee and good service. I always appreciate a coffee shop with signature drinks and I tried their hazelnut one. It was perfectly balanced with coffee and sweetness (not too sweet). I will visit again to try a different signature drink!
Rainy day and needed a warm cup of latte. I was torn between these two: $6.50 -Orellana's Special latte: House Espresso with Honey topped with Cinnamon $6.50 -Panqueque latte: latte with caramel, toasted hazelnut, and cold foam Went with the panqueque latte and it's exactly that, pancakes. Latte smelled of pancakes and was the perfect touch of sweetness and creaminess. So good! Warmed my heart and tummy. They also have baked goods/pan dulce. Doesn't seem like you could go wrong with any option here, the coffee is good.
I love The Hide Room Coffee! The flavor of their coffee is outstanding and well crafted. They serve Guatemalan coffee and its flavor is unlike any other. I tried a couple of their drinks and I can wholeheartedly say it doesn't taste like other coffees in the best way possible. Service is amazing. Orders were taken fast and drinks came out fast as well. They also give free stickers which I appreciate! Ambiance is great. I've never seen a coffee shop mixed with a barber shop. My wife and I planned a trip to San Francisco, but before we started our long drive to the Bay Area, we stayed the evening with our daughter. The morning we were about to make our trek, our daughter wanted to take us to a coffee shop she recently found. The Hide Room is not only a coffee shop, but it also houses a barber shop. This bald dude wasn't in need of a barber, but having some java was a must before driving for almost 6 hours. The coffee I ordered initially tasted just okay, but there was a delayed response and I enjoyed it. What I enjoyed about my first visit to The Hide Room was the quality customer service from Isaiah, the Filipino gentleman in glasses. The Hide Room is located in Los Angeles, specifically on Victory Blvd. in Burbank. It's a combo shop that houses both a coffee shop and barber shop. It's next to Centanni Italian Restaurant and across from Bright Now Dental. Parking is all street parking. The coffee shop isn't too big with no indoor seating, but there is outdoor seating with several yellow metal round tables, metal yellow chairs, and a yellow umbrella for shade. When you walk into The Hide Room, it's pretty cool to see half of the space is a barber shop where the owner was cutting someone's hair and the other half is a coffee joint. Their coffee is sourced from Guatemala, so the decor consists of framed pics of Guatemala images, coffee bean bags hanging, and an ornate, woven cloth attached to another wall. Isaiah, the barista behind the counter provided quality customer service by giving us coffee recommendations and he was so accommodating answering my questions about the business. I think this was the first time for me to see a business that was a coffee shop and barber shop all in one building. Isaiah told me the owner, who was there cutting someone's hair, wanted to incorporate haircuts and coffee in one building. We entered through one door for the coffee shop and if you'd like a haircut, you can continue through another door into what looked like an upscale, old school barber shop. I wasn't sure what to order, but my usual go to at branded coffee shops is a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut. I decided on a mocha with hazelnut flavoring. When I took my first sip, I really couldn't taste the coffee or the hazelnut flavoring. After taking a few more sips, I wished I had asked for it to be sweeter. I guess it takes a little while to appreciate the coffee because I had a delayed response to my coffee from The Hide Room. I actually enjoyed the coffee after drinking it for a little while. I'll need to try one of their signature coffees the next time I visit. I really liked the concept of The Hide Room with its combo coffee shop and barber shop. I no longer need haircuts since I'm bald, but I recommend you check out this hipster spot with its Guatemala coffee and quality customer service from its staff. read more

Yum! I tried the Panqueque today and it reminds me of the fall with the cinnamon spices. It's not overly sweet and I chose oat milk instead of regular milk. Ordered 4 coffees and I was so disappointed on the quality of the espresso. lf your a coffee drinker and like your coffee to taste like coffee or like the strong flavor of espresso this place isn't for you . If you like to spend $8 on a cup of milk you'll love this place . No taste of coffee despite it being Guatemalan based, I went home and had to pour in 2 extra shots in my latte. Definitely my favorite coffeeshop in Burbank now! I stopped by for a quick cup before running my errands and I was so glad that I did. I can't believe this is what they are slinging, while sharing a space with a barbershop. They take their coffee seriously here. The baristas were both friendly and smiling, something that's really hard to do at 10 in the morning on a Saturday. This place is 100 percent going into my rotation of shops in the area! read more

I am absolutely hooked on The Hide Room Coffee shop! Found this place on a whim due to another coffee shop being closed while in the area but I am sooo happy that I did. I love the vibe here even though it's just a small order up counter. The staff here is amazing! So friendly every time. My go to order is the Cafe De La Tierra. It is literally the perfect blend of sweetness to coffee ratio. The espresso they use here is so smooth and yet still present. Even a simple maple latte here is balanced and a cup of heaven. Got my family hooked on this place too. Literally the coffee options here don't disappoint. read more

Amidst the many spots in LA to get your caffeine fix, The Hide Room is truly serving coffee that stands out from the rest. The flavor and quality of the espresso is insane and packs a really nice caffeine punch for that much needed pick-me-up. The barista working when my husband and I came in was extremely nice and had great energy! We got the panqueque latte with oat milk and without the foam top, and it was DIVINE. Truly tastes just like pancakes, but not at all artificial. We had to take our coffee to-go, but there is a good amount of outdoor seating. I cannot wait to come back! Coffee spot is super cute with outside seating. The coffee we ordered was amazing! You can really taste the freshness of the brewed Guatemalan beans. The lady at the register was super friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. The barista was very friendly and conversational with us while making our drinks.
