Slightly sour, but fruity coffee. Overall, I enjoyed it. Good mouthfeel too. Good temperature, it wasn't too hot nor luke warm. MANGO MATCHA At first taste, it tasted more like guava. But it was indeed mango. But a fake mango flavor. The mango flavor was there, but could not taste the matcha. It wasn't bad, but I had better mango matchas elsewhere. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was okay. Not bad, but not great. Staff could smile more than just stare at you. Even say "Hello" or "Welcome" when you walk in the coffee shop. LOCATION Located in a small strip mall at Golden Springs Plaza. Parking is medium-sized for the amount of businesses here. I had no issues finding parking in front of the coffee shop, although more and more parking spots were being taken. AMBIANCE + SEATS The ambiance was relaxing. No loud music. Lots of people coming in and working on their laptops. Five small tables for two in the center. Along the wall there were bar seats for 19-20 people. There's a long communal table in the center for seats for 4-5 people. At the front and to the side, there were 3 tables for two. Outdoor tables for two right outside the cafe. Bathroom is outside of the cafe and you have to enter the other part of the building with a bathroom code to unlock. Will I visit again? Maybe if I'm in the area. But I'm in no rush to come back.

With the increase of Smoking Tigers, I heard from my friend that also frequents these that they're cutting a lot from their menu, food and drink wise. My beloved choco mugwort, please return as a seasonal drink at least. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I was on the fence about ordering a limited seasonal Yakult cold brew style drink but feared that it was going to be more sour than a standard Yakult because of the cold brew and after explaining the flavor profile thoroughly, I opted for a safer drink that I've had before. Their banana milk latte. I'm a caffeine addict and this was a good pick me up. Not super strong and didn't zute me immediately, but this is perfect for those slow release caffeine people who like to sip on their drinks. Perfect banana milk taste after mixing and a perfect coffee for me, not too bitter or sour lol. There's outlets at the tables near the window and lots of places to sit down and hang out. Plenty of parking but it can get busy since a lot of people are in the plaza to go to 99 Ranch or the other businesses (restaurants, shopping, tea, etc.) but also everyone hates parking at the plaza across the street so they're parking here and walking over haha... It's insane this used to be a Diamond Bakery. They've existed since the 70's and 80's and there's only 2 left in existence (Vegas and MPK). Really makes you think of the passage of time. ANYWAYS, there's a point system if you sign up with your phone number and an app where you can access deals, order ahead of time, send gifts, and they have special days each month!

The jasmine milk tea tastes very similar to a milk tea competitor that shares the same name scheme (Cha_ _ _). ChaHalo has good boba and more variety, though, which is a plus! Their lychee smoothie was perfectly sweet at 50%. The oolong milk tea had the perfect milk to tea ratio, and the lemon kumquat tea was refreshing. Out of the drinks in the flight, the jasmine milk tea was best, then osmanthus if you like the floral tea flavor, and lastely the dark milk tea, which wasn't anything special. There were a few small tables inside, and seating in their patio. Drinks came out quickly and service was efficient and friendly. We will be back!

We couldn't wait to take our first bite. The egg and asada looked perfect with the creama and cheese melting away. The First bite was love at first taste!! The crispy chips, the tender asada, perfectly cook egg and the green salsa gave me smile. A smile of WTF have I been missing. The mole poblano chilaquiles was aqually amazing!! The mole took us back to our visit to Puebla, where we tried authentic mole for the first time!! Props to the kitchen staff who prepared our amazing dishes. The young lady was attentive and pleasant to talk to. We thanked the owner and expressed our gratitude for the authentic food. We found a GEM!! BTW, the churros were AMAZING!!

I would say this is one of those cute places that guys can take their girlfriends on a date to. Maybe I'm just a simple girl to please when it comes to dessert spots =) Although there are some potential cons about this place such as potential groups of people on the table next to you belligerently enjoying themselves over a loud but great conversation or playing an intense game of Big2/Pusoy (chinese poker), all you can really do is... just take it as an opportunity to get closer to your sweetie. Sometimes, normal voice is over-rated dont you think? Whispering in each other's ears is just taking communication, to another level ;) The guy I was seeing took me here several times and every time was just as great as the first. It was the perfect environment to enjoy a large bowl of shaved ice during a hot summer day and if it's cold, you and your date can snuggle close together and still wrap each others tummy with a heart warming bowl of sweets. The shaved ice that we got every time we visited this place definitely left me questioning who swept me off my feet first (kidding! :P) It was really satisfying, the portion was huge, the texture of the shaved ice definitely complimented all the fresh fruit toppings that were used. I mention this in many of my dessert reviews about my dislike for vanilla ice cream but it is definitely an exception here at Boba TIme. Everything they top onto their mountain of snow (mochi bites, fruity pebbles) was a splendid escapade for those sweet-craving taste buds of yours. It was definitely one of the few shaved ice place I'd recommend to anyone. I'd even come here to read the day's paper while enjoying a simple, but well-brewed cup of house coffee. The only problem I might have with Boba Time would be... their name. Something about it that bothers me. Maybe it's just too simple and a little boring. This café not only disregards basic customer comfort but seems to be ignoring public safety altogether. With a current excessive heat warning in effect across the region, and temperatures reaching over 100°F, they had the indoor temperature set at a suffocating 85°F. This is not only uncomfortable, but potentially hazardous, especially considering the ongoing heat wave. Under Cal/OSHAs heat-related illness prevention measures, businesses are encouraged to take appropriate actions to ensure safe and cool environments during extreme heat. Yet, the staff refused to adjust the temperature when we asked, leaving everyone to sweat in dangerously high indoor temperatures. To make things worse, their seating policy is both discriminatory and dishonest. They reserve a large table for "parties of 5 or more," but they inconsistently enforce this. After we paid to stay, they kicked us out of the table under the excuse that a larger party was coming. They later admitted that the table was actually reserved for non-students, but there was no clear signage indicating this rule. This selective treatment could be in violation of California's Unruh Civil Rights Act,, which prohibits businesses from discriminating against patrons. In short, this café is violating health, safety, and fairness standards, making it an unsafe and unpleasant place to visit--especially during a heat wave. Avoid this place if you value your comfort and respect as a customer. read more

I recently visited Café BT and was pleasantly surprised by the experience! I tried both the Joripong drink and the cookies and cream shake, and they were both delicious in their own unique ways. The Joripong drink was something I hadn't tried before--it had this fun, crunchy texture with a light sweetness that made it really refreshing. The cookies and cream shake, on the other hand, was rich and creamy, blended to perfection with just the right amount of sweetness. It was a satisfying indulgence without being too heavy. The atmosphere of the café is great. It's cozy and modern with plenty of seating, making it a perfect spot to hang out, study, or just relax with friends. Even when it's a little busy, it doesn't feel overwhelming, and I love that they have comfortable seating options. The staff was also friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. Café BT has definitely become one of my new go-to spots when I'm in the area. Cafe BT has been an absolute staple for me for the last 5-10 years and I cannot imagine Rowland's boba/coffee scene without it. They continue to provide high quality drinks for all people to enjoy and their facility is always well kept, clean, and tidy. The workers are super kind and helpful, even when asked questions on what they recommend based off of my preferences. It's a place I come to chill with friends, study, or to simply grab a drink or frozen yogurt. It's a place I recommend to all my friends who are around or are new to the area for great quality drinks that differ from generic chains. I called on Monday June 9th at 4:45 it was to see if I can speak to a manager about any job openings. The guy I spoke to was super rude and disrespectful the type of people this company hires is making this place look bad. He said his name was "Sam" and I'm not even sure that's his name but that's what he told me. I can't imagine the service in person if I had such a bad experience on the phone I wouldn't want to work in a place like that. I recently visited Café BT in Walnut, CA, and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. One of my favorite boba places of all time. The boba is always perfectly chewy and the quality and the taste of the drinks is amazing. My go to order is a strawberry yogurt smoothie with boba. It is a little bit on the pricier side but the taste makes up for it. Whenever I'm nearby I always make sure to stop by and get a drink! I absolutely loved this place! I stopped by with a friend just for a quick coffee, but we ended up staying for waffles and coffee, and it was totally worth it. The whole experience was amazing. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made us feel really welcome. The ambiance is fantastic, I'm a big fan of rustic design, and Cafe BT nails it perfectly. Cozy, stylish, and full of good vibes. Definitely coming back! read more

This Boba Time on Colima makes really good frozen yogurt, I like them better than pinkberry that's across the street from them. Their frozen yogurt is less creamy than pinkberry's which give them distinct taste and feels really good on a hot day. The servers are nice and nice looking too. Great place to hang out and chill. read more

My review may be biased because I once got in a fight with the owner of this place. but then i heard that the owner changed. im not sure. but anyway this is a good hangout spot and a couple of their drinks are good. but i find it overpriced. get the yogurt slush! read more

This spot is one of my favorite boba places/ hangout spot. Their patio is spacious and is a nice study spot. All the employees are friendly and boba taste amazing! I love their Yogurt smoothie with boba. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Hey~ I tried this place and actually they are pretty good! Although I did see how much sugar or condensation milk they put into the drink. I know it cannot be healthy, however I still liked the taste! It beats Starbucks for me. read more

Unfortunately, it's a frugal, bland drink with tasteless, squishy boba. There's no tea flavor.... this drink tastes like tap water with milk. (Quick Note: If you don't request milk, they use powder.) I arrived at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) on Friday (around 12:24PM). The customer parking lot had plenty of spots. Parking is easy. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is welcoming, laid back, and helpful. My drink took about three minutes. Quick. As mentioned, I disliked the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea ($4.75) w/ Whole Milk (75 cents) and Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It tastes like "nothing." The flavor of watered-down milk and water jello balls encapsulates its flavor profile. The boba was not bouncy; rather, the texture resembles deflated marshmallows. However, the lovely ambiance at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) is the ONLY reason why the review score is so high. Despite the awful, frugal drinks, this business is a college student's hidden paradise. The location is very clean, calming, and comfortable. There's about 15 tables, and there's about 8 electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; the details are on a small card at the counter. This location also has a self-service water station and a gender neutral restroom. Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) is also decorated lovingly. I appreciated the book aesthetic and the hanging leaves. It's also very quiet inside. The location felt like a well-ventilated, comfy library. If searching for a study spot, this is such an easy recommendation. Overall, I had a mixed experience at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut). The location is a cozy, creative study/work spot, but the tea is very bland, poorly made, and unmemorable. This business screams wasted potential. The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) is aged, worn-down but well-maintained. The location is a little small; there's about four tables. Fortunately, it feels well-ventilated and airy. In addition, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) also has PLENTY of utility. This spot has 34 electrical outlets!!! WOW! These outlets easily blend with the wall.
