First Timer & I Am Definitely impressed With This Spot! I'm Very Picky With Chai Lattes & Wow They Did A Great Job! It's On The Sweeter Side But Very Delicious! Banana Bread & Chorizo & Egg Burrito Were Very Good As Well! Their Service Was Great As Well! I Will Be Back!

I've been coming here for years, and love getting coffee via drive through as it saves a lot of time. There are a couple of tables here and about 5 spots to park if someone wanted to sit and eat instead of eating in their car. I'm sensitive to that since I'm trying to keep my new car smell as long as I can. There is also a short little walking trail that goes along a marsh behind the next-door hotel. I love how they open so early at 4:30! This is the best for commuters but not great for late coffee drinkers since they close at 4:30pm and 12:30pm on weekends! Closed Sundays.

Quick service and nice stop! Hot mocha and good prices. The worker us by herself but she's very friendly and the place was getting a little busy. Props to her.

Stopped by here on the way to a hike in Marin. Staff greeted us and the spot didn't seem too busy. It seems like you can drive through to buy coffee, but we parked and walked up to the window. That was a little confusing since most places have a window for walk up versus a window for drive through. It's a convenient spot if you pick up coffee after fuelling gas down the road before hopping back on 101

Amazing banana bread. Great start to the morning. Coffee and banana bread! Easy access drive though.

Satisfying black coffee served from a cute cable car. Wetlands make a fine backdrop for together time on a road trip. Close and convenient to the highway.

Better than Peet's and you don't have to talk to anybody. Five stars if they took debit, which they have not on my last few visits. Yummy!

They also had some tables outside, but it was too cold for me. I ordered a hot banana caramelized latte, which was so amazing. It really hit the spot. This is my favorite equator location. Not for people watching (go to their Miller Ave location for…read morethat), & not because the drinks are somehow better here or anything; Equator drinks are consistent throughout all of their locations. It's THIS particular location... On CA-1 in Mill Valley, it's so conveniently on the way to downtown Mill Valley, Stinson Beach, Point Reyes...etc, etc. But regardless of where you're going, stopping in here feels like you're on vacation. Beach/ocean/surf culture. The vibe is a thousand percent beach hut/surf shop, even with no actual beach in sight. How charming is that? Somehow browsing surfboards, even when you don't surf, assuages that unfulfilled dream, or fuels your standing wanderlust. Did you know that Thomas Keller serves Equator coffee at all of his properties? They partnered up 25 years ago, & equator even does special blends at certain TK restaurants. Even though Equator is available at grocery stores now, you should still come here. 5 star coffee in another 5 star location

Got it. I'll turn this into a polished Yelp Elite-style narrative: observant, balanced, a little…read morewitty, and clearly written by someone who actually spends time here--not a fly-by latte tourist. This spot feels like the other side of Sausalito--in the best way. If Sausalito Bakery is the pressed-linen, weekend-brunch version of town, this place is where the everyday locals land. Same essence, very different energy. Cozy, familiar, and quietly charming without trying too hard. The space itself is warm and inviting, with a lived-in feel and a glowing sign in the back that somehow makes the whole room feel softer. There's a large communal table, plenty of indoor seating, and a steady hum of conversation that creates excellent white noise. It's a solid place to get work done--as long as you're not recording audio, because it does get a little loud--but for emails, planning, or a casual work session, it absolutely works. Now, the matcha. This is the real headline. I'll be honest: I used to actively avoid ordering matcha here. It was mediocre at best. About five months ago, they changed it--slight improvement, but still not there. I know the ownership was proud of that update, but something clearly changed again since then, because today's matcha was genuinely impressive. Like, stop-what-you're-doing impressive. At this point, I'm comfortable saying this is the best matcha in Sausalito. Egg Lady's is fine, but it doesn't come close. Sausalito Bakery is lovely to hang out in, and their pastries are great--but their matcha is forgettable. This one isn't. (The only matcha I've had locally that competes was at an ERIA Events gathering, but that's not exactly a walk-in situation, so it doesn't count.) If you're in Sausalito specifically looking for matcha, this is the place. They're also great with substitutions, service is quick, and the owner has a genuinely warm, welcoming presence--lots of friendly back-and-forth with regulars, which adds to the atmosphere rather than distracting from it. I didn't try the pastries or sandwiches this time (not much of a pastry person), though everything looked solid. Outdoor seating exists, but with the weather being a bit unpredictable lately, indoor is the move. Fair warning: parking is a hassle. I parked in the lot near Trident, and while it worked, the valet experience was... unpleasant enough that I probably wouldn't do it again. Plan accordingly. All in all, this is a comfortable, local-feeling café with excellent matcha, good energy, and enough seating to make it a reliable go-to. It may not be the "scene," but it's exactly the kind of place you end up recommending when someone asks, "Where do you actually like to go?"

Buckeye Roadhouse has such a classic, cozy vibe that immediately feels special--you can tell it's a place people come back to. First things first: make a reservation. This place is popular for a reason. The food absolutely did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken dish, and it was hands-down my favorite--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and comforting in the best way. The tuna tataki was another standout: fresh, beautifully presented, and light but satisfying. Every plate that hit the table felt thoughtful and well-executed. And then... the s'more pie. Wow. Easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time and the perfect way to end the meal--rich, nostalgic, and totally indulgent without being overwhelming. Between the atmosphere, the service, and how solid every dish was, this place instantly went on my "come back soon" list. Already planning to return for a date night because it just has that romantic, timeless feel. Highly recommend if you're looking for great food, a polished experience, and a spot that feels like a treat every time.

You'll still find a lot of their "old school" Sweet Things original baked goods, alongside new breads and treats. Jane's is relatively close to the freeway, so worth a venture if your sweet tooth is calling. Today I needed a cafe with internet access but with actually good desserts (no thanks Starbucks) and solid tea and espresso drinks, so I came to Jane's and grabbed a lemon blueberry slice, an oat milk chai, and got some work done. I found my cake chilled and needing time to sit out and soften, but although not the perfect temperature, it was moist, sweet and flavorful. The new remodel at Jane's bakery has modernized the original space, but left some of the qualities and desserts that made the former Sweet Things sweet and nostalgic.
