    Grilled Branzino Fillet

I came here for brunch, and I really enjoyed my food. I had the grilled branzino, and it came with celery puree and onions, and it was seasoned so well! It was quite a big portion, too! My daughter had the soft scrambled eggs with salad and smoked trout, and hers was delicious as well. Her trout was quite salty, though. It's really cute inside!

I have been dying to try this place! I visited Paris sometime last year and I have been craving real french croissants since and this place definitely fulfilled my craving! There is a parking lot which I totally missed and ended up parking in the neighborhood instead. I believe there's one or two other businesses next to Le Marais but you can't really miss it with all of the French style seating outside! There is also seating inside. They do have a sign that states to place an order before sitting. The counter can definitely seem crowded and busy at times! But at least my order was quick and easy. I ordered to go and got myself a croissant and a vanilla latte. I was kind of on the go but decided to slow down for the day and actually sit down and enjoy my croissant. It was so buttery and flakey! I personally thought my latte was the perfect temperature. It wasn't piping hot, but it also wasn't warm either. I can't wait to come back and maybe try some of their meal items next time!

We were in the area looking to find somewhere to sit and have some coffee/tea. I'm always on the lookout for new-to-me cafes and Le Marais Bakery fit the bill. Saw that they also have a couple other locations in SF too. LMB Mill Valley is a cute spot with chic interior, but we unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the drinks. We ordered a cappuccino and chai latte and both were served lukewarm. My chai latte was also really watered down. I did like how quiet and spacious it was inside. There were a few people working on laptops, so it could be a good spot to study or get work done. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Don't think I'd come back here for the drinks, but I'd be open to trying the bakery items.

What a lovely patio for a delicious breakfast! My family and I got omelettes, coffees, and pastries. The omelette was a tad salty but overall really good, but the chocolate croissant was WOW!! I would recommend checking it out, especially if you enjoy good outdoor dining for breakfast or brunch.

Came during the afternoon for Sunday brunch with the boys. We loved the selection of pastries, especially the pain au chocolat! Lovely cashier who offered alternative options when I asked for no cheese in my salad. Glad they use fresh quality ingredients. We ordered: Chocolate croissants Chicken corn cobb salad Buckwheat crepe Croque monsieur The boys were hoping for more airy flakiness from the chocolate croissants (they're snobby frenchies, harsh critics)!! However, I loved mine and the chocolate batons inside were nice and thick! Mmm! Loved sitting outside under the umbrellas. Very dog friendly.

What a cute cafe! We've been to the old space in sf Marina but this is so much nicer - airy and a beautiful space. We stopped here for breakfast with our baby before heading to the children's museum. We ordered some pastries, coffees, and a 5 item bistro board. The board was perfect for the baby, we got to choose what we'd like and everything was actually great. The scrambled eggs were done beautifully French style; we also for some avocado, seasonal fruits, yogurt, and prosciutto (for the adults). The pastries were delicious and a good variety. It's a bit on the pricier side but given the location and quality, it's not unreasonable. We'd def come back for breakfast again.

Busy bakery and brunch spot. I stopped by here before exploring Muir Woods and it was packed! We only aimed to get a pastry and hot chocolate but it ended up being a 15 minute wait in line and then an additional wait for the drink. It's a casual Parisian vibe and the bakery items reflect that, but the hot chocolate tasted like your typical nestle powder packet - I would've tried a latte instead in hindsight.

We stumbled across this place after shopping at Corte madera mall. It is located in downtown mill valley. We arrived at around 7 and to our surprise this looked like more of a restaurant than a cafe. After looking at the menu for a few minutes we were warmly welcomed inside by the server. We almost thought we went to the wrong place but the inside is beautiful! Decorated with Christmas decor we sat in a corner and ordered coffee and a butter croissant. ! The vanilla latte and croissant were excellent but the French hot chocolate was average. I would highly recommend this place for coffee lovers!

I came across Le Marais looking for a breakfast spot before visiting Muir Woods. Service was great, the waiters, cashiers where super friendly. They have variety of options to pick from. Liked the outdoors seating, great for spring & summer. Check it out

Other croissants are ruined for us now. Le Marais croissants are light, laminated, flaky, and perfectly buttery. Those bready imposters from other shops just won't do anymore. Everything here is delicious, authentic, and magnifique! Fifi, David, and the whole staff make you feel welcome--and make incredible lattes. Stopping in feels like a mini vacation, especially when you can sip your coffee on the patio outside and admire the doggos. We're so lucky to have Le Marais in MV!

Amazing food, great coffee and service that feels like an old school family spot. They are lovely. Highly recommend the breakfast board but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I would happily eat here every day if I could.

    Latte, chocolate croissant and mimosa.

Stopped in for breakfast with a friend. Just lovely. Busy busy busy but efficient. The line moved and our food was out quick. Of course we enjoyed mimosas with our meal.

Another 5 star review for Le Marais is in order. Service is friendly and (with a French accent), the ambience is quite nice and the food is excellent. Today I ordered the Tuna Nicoise which tasted fantastic- only thing missing was capers but great nonetheless. We ordered an almond & chocolate croissant to share & have with our lattes. Both were yummy but the almond was my favorite. And the prices are extremely reasonable too!

What I didn't realize at the time was the sheer pedigree behind it. It turns out Madcap is Michelin-rated, and Chef Ron Siegel is a celebrity chef. A Top Chef alum who headlined at legendary spots like The French Laundry and Michael Mina. Ironically, I didn't learn any of this from a food blog or Yelp. I heard it from my dentist in Vallejo. Talk about a random convo! As for the food, Chef Siegel's creations are pure joy--a celebration of culinary genius that feels genuinely divine. It's the kind of meal that evokes deep emotion; it really is magical. I can honestly say it's the best restaurant in Marin, Point Reyes included. We paired our meal with a beautiful bottle of sake by Pharrell Williams (yes, you read that right), and to top off an already incredible evening, we got to meet Chef Siegel and take a group photo with him. What a cool dude! Inside the restaurant, the decor was refined and classy, featuring rich dark wood accents and curated artwork. My only minor complaint was the seating - the wooden chair, while stylish, could have been a bit more comfortable. Overall, it was a truly lovely experience.

Whatever we lacked in Korean or Ethiopian fare we made up for with an abundance of restaurants specializing in food from France and Italy. Amelie Cafe and Wine Bar continues the tradition and I'm not mad about it. With outposts in both San Francisco and New York City, Amelie sports a nice pedigree. The Fairfax location is dialed down a bit - perfect for the neighborhood it serves - and makes for a comfortable place to enjoy any meal however you might happen to appear that day. It's a simple cafe and, though not inexpensive, certainly less so than a trip to Paris. Two of us recently dined here, late afternoon on a weekend, sharing a burger ($23; comes with fries and a salad), a lager ($8; they have no IPA), and boquerones, the latter of which I fully regretted having to share. Whenever I see boquerones ($12) on a menu I cannot look away and in Marin, finding such an offering is a unicorn. Delicious; I might sneak back over solo just to enjoy them again. The burger and fries were also good, with a profile a bit different than what one would get at a non-French-centric spot. Amelie is a good place to drop in before or after a movie or a show in Fairfax and equally wonderful to pop into for a morning coffee drink or an afternoon glass of wine. It's a casual and a perfect fit for Fairfax.

The drinks were ok - they can do any cocktail with their well alcohol for $8 which is a good deal. Service was all over the place. The server was very nice but everything was extremely slow. When we arrived they weren't busy at all so it was very puzzling why everything took so long. They also forgot an order of the french dip sliders we placed when we ordered another round of mussels.
