They have glass windows everywhere where you can see the mountains where the 10 million dollar homes sit on or have the view of the bay. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can soak it all in either way. The drinks were the highlight for me. The chai latte had a good spiciness to it and wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciate. And the affogato? Amazing. Absolutely get the affogato. One big miss though -- they have a variety of pastries in a glass container, but I saw flies flying around inside it. That's a big no no for me and completely turned me off from wanting any. Hopefully they get that sorted, because the pastries looked tempting otherwise. Heads up: parking nearby is paid, so plan for that. Overall a lovely spot for a scenic coffee morning -- just stick to the drinks for now.

It was nice to see that the chamomile tea came with a teapot and made about 3 1/2 cups of tea. The latte was served in a nice glass and paired really nicely with the peach scone, which also wasn't too sweet. I loved the interior seating and lighting; it's nice that they seem to have musical events going on, too. The service is friendly, albeit a little slow when it gets busy, which is to be expected. It's also nice that they are open a little later than other nearby coffee shops and bakeries, too.

And of course the best coffee drinks that come to mind. Mom decided on a piece of quiche and poppy seed lemon cake while I chose the breakfast burrito and the peanut butter and chocolate bar. We both found our choices to be uniquely delicious and filling. And it turned out my brother had purchased earlier in the week the specialty desserts as surprise treats for us to enjoy later. The coffee was strong, the food tasty, and the cafe atmosphere neighborhood friendly, so all in all a good experience for both locals and visitors alike.

Outside seating was relaxing and the views complimented the evening. Nice to see staff members with smiles on their faces, don't always see that at a restaurant! Fharid was the server, ever attentive, but just enough! What's important...the food! Romaine Caesar Salad - just enough of the flavorful dressing to compliment the salad. Roasted Half Chicken - tender and absolutely delicious. Portions were very filling. A wonderful homemade peach mint chutney enhanced the flavor option if you so wished. I love chutney, wished I could buy a bottle to take home! Dark Chocolate Cake - words can't describe how good it was! Dark chocolate cake, sour cherries, fresh whipped cream - a piece of chocolate art. Hated to destroy the dessert, but I did! It was decided I should meet the baker. They were at the temperature that most meals are at when we are at the end. The corn side was served on the cob; ridiculous. JUST DON'T! The menu is small. All of the employees were instructed to tell EVERYONE that they just added 12 new items to the menu. Which means that they threw out Michael Mina's menu and replaced it with their own. Extremely displeased with the contrast of service or rather lack of service and its inconsistencies. The latte itself had many add on charges as did the order. A large 16oz latte ($7.25) with oat milk ($0.75) and honey lavender ($0.80) selected as the flavor option totaled $8.80. Using your card, there is a charge as well ($0.69). The honey lavender syrup used tasted artificial and the latte itself was not very warm when immediately received. It quickly turned to room temperature milk with flavoring. The lemon blueberry scone is delicious. The scone is crumbly and cakey with a vibrant fresh lemon flavor. The blueberries are not spread throughout and tasted like paper pieces. I stopped eating to remove a couple from my mouth, it felt like I was eating part of the bag. I picked the remaining "blue pieces" out. Now, thankful it was not spread throughout. My intent was to stay for a bit and experience the environment. After the contrast in "service", I definitely did not feel welcomed. The New York steak is super juicy with chimichurri sauce and broccolini served with blue cheese fries; no blue cheese for me though. There are good options for a gift or a present for a special occasion. Parking is limited and only street parking is available in front. I was so impressed by all of the local products which celebrate the bounty of California and the culinary creativity of the North Bay. There's a lot of good stuff to choose from including a nice cold deli and chiller with prepared foods. I would definitely come back here again. The prices aren't cheap but actually struck me as about what you might expect for the quality, selection, and location.
