Super friendly and great coffee for a cute cart next to the grocery store. A good variety of choices as well as non dairy options.

We were ready for a drive to Stinson Beach on a beautiful sunny Sunday. We decided to stop at the…read moreParkside because it was close walking distance to the beach. We chose to sit outside with umbrellas, picnic tables and benches. I ordered the HASH breakfast with scrambled eggs and my fellow traveler ordered mussels. We were both surprised how good both orders were! The hash was a mixture of grilled chicken and root vegetables Cooke just right and topped with pesto sauce. The scrambled eggs and outstanding toast were served on the side. Yum! I enjoyed every bite and was really more than I usually eat at midday. The mussels were in a creamy tomato based sauce...spicy and delicious with grilled bread for dipping as the mussels began to disappear and the sauce revealed. It was a nice surprise to later walk the beach with full stomachs and appreciate the incredible views on a sunny day along the Marin coast!

They looked good but $8 for a slice of cold pizza, that's probably been sitting all day, doesn't sound too appetizing. Ambience is nice and beachy , since it's right outside Stinson Beach. They also had pastries that looked good but we just got coffee here. Coffee was good.

Locals with their dogs walk here, and mingle with the out-of-towners, hikers, and bicyclists who all enjoy a quality cup of coffee or other drink, paired with fancy pastries or select lunch items. Their seasonal drink menu is always worth a try; turmeric or matcha or cacao are always a good match with the Equator-roasted beans, purchased and shipped direct from sustainable and family farms. There is select seating inside, additional benches outside, and an abundance of seating across the street at the Depot, where summer music festivals and farmers market booths are known to occasion. Arrive for the delicious coffee, stay for the chill vibes. ‍

They work hard back there to ensure that no one waits for too long. They have excellent lattes and a solid host of seasonal drinks as well. They also have prepared foods such as overnight oats, which are really good. It's quite crowded in the shop itself with both people waiting for their drinks and people enjoy enjoying their drinks, so I opted to take mine to go and walk around town.

Add a couple buttery, scrambled eggs and you are complete. Now to top it off, have yourself a lovely pastry. Good lord. I'm going to try to find the right words...I told a friend on the phone, lets say that…read moreyou put an HVAC salesman in front of a stove with a recipe and asked him to make you breakfast...that's what it seemed like they did today. My "Soft Scramble" was a pile of astonishment. It was so unrefined that it was an insult the the ingredients. There was nothing soft about the eggs, they were overcooked. The only thing soft on the plate was the watery run-off from the vegetables they heaped into the eggs: Too many chewy mushrooms and HUGE. Too many cherry tomatoes. I had to dig to find the eggs. The leeks were strips of inedible ribbon. The toast? I think it had been toasted yesterday and left on the top of their oven overnight and then reused today. I had to get up from the table and ask for butter to make it edible and still I worried whether I was going to break a crown. The pickled vegetables? Again, HUGE, hard and barely pickled. I will refrain from criticizing the service because they are all unaware of the nightmare in which they are working. Bless their hearts. I was so sad and annoyed. People think they can buy a restaurant with recipes and wholesale accounts and staff and just run it, "business as usual" but they are wrong. I went in and asked if they had sold the restaurant and was told, "yes." I imagine some tech-bro's wife or some hedgefund community doodler wanted a pet project with zero idea about food or food quality or how to treat and retain employees because what happened to MHBB is astonishing. It's rude and insulting to anyone who opened this restaurant and put in their best to keep the name and claim to be catering to the same people. But then again, this is par for the course or, from my vantage point, everything wrong with what's happened in Marin in a nutshell. Faux authenticity. Zero care. This is now all about the money. I will never bother with it again.
