And thay are awesome with price checking got my pontoon for 500 and it was origanal over 700 so happy about that read more

Product are awesome! Prices ok, However, WORST! customer service ever! I've been here multiple times, no one is ever around to help and when you do ask for help the younger employees are ALWAYS annoyed! Especially the shoes section, Asked for people to call for help and they never show up. You sit there and for 20 min and then have to go ask them to call someone again!! Other than that this place is awesome. read more

Great Store with awesome selection for everything you could or would need as a outdoorsman. Also a Great entertainment venue. From the Fish Tank, Animal exhibits and arcade shooting range. Our Kids love this place. read more

A definite must if you're in the area, truly a wonder to see. The largest outdoor/camping/hiking/hunting/everything-in-between store I have ever entered, a wonder in its own category. I cannot begin to describe everything this store encompasses -- I was simply in awe. Though it is a bit on the pricey side, I found several bargains across the many departments. The large display of animals all around the store made it seem more like a museum, or zoo. If you're close by, include Cabela's in your list of places to visit, and dedicate a good three hours if you want to thoroughly explore it in its entirety. read more

Well, now I can say I have been there. Nice big store with an aquarium, cafe/deli, and a strange dead animal museum. George was very kind and knowledgable when I needed help selling firearms. I felt like there were more staff than customers at the store, and yet there never seemed to be anyone around to help anyone. I felt confident that they gave me a decent price for my firearms. read more

Cabelas used to be one of my favorite stores. I am inclined to go to other outdoor stores now because EVERY time I go inside Cabela's, I get nagged about getting their credit card and they are very aggressive about it. No. I do not want to save $20 on my next purchase! Ha also, I went to look at their pistols and now they have these locking mechanisms on the gun that don't allow you to feel the gun. It stabs your middle finger just holding the gun. So I guess if you enjoy getting your finger stabbed by a piece of plastic, go check out the Cabela's gun section! read more

This place is heaven... kids love it, parents love it... just doesn't get much better than this!

I was given a Cabela's brand dehydrator for my birthday with was defective and melted. After calling and getting approval from the mail company that makes them (Blue Sky), I called the local Cabela's store to exchange the dehydrator for the exact same product. I talked to Karen (who I was later told was a manager). She was so rude condescending on the phone that she had me so upset. She shouldn't be working at this store. read more

As a cultural/retail experience alone, this is worth a stop as you venture along I-15. The taxidermy is impressive (if you're into that sort of thing), and I have never seen so many fishing poles in one place. We got a good price on Ariet riding boots, but had to leave too quickly to really bargain-hunt. Not the best place for clothing. read more

We go here even if we don't plan on buying. It's fun to just look and bring the dog. I love that they are dog friendly. I always buy my ammo here too. You wouldn't expect this store to be competitive on price but they are usually the cheapest when comparing them to other outdoor stores like Sportsmans and Sheela. read more

These comments are based on one transaction with Cabela's Lehi, UT store and one item purchased in Cabela's Sidney, NE. On 4-23-2014 we shopped at Cabela's, Sidney, NE and made several purchases. One of the items was a man's belt. In the March, 2015 time frame the belt buckle broke. It is an 86 mile round trip from my house to Cabela's store in Lehi. I delayed returning it until I could combine the trip with anything that took me south of Salt Lake City. On May 19, 2015 I went to Cabela's, Lehi, UT. Customer service personal were polite although somewhat robotic in their answers. The return was not approved. I was advised (once) that I did not have a receipt and that the belt had exceeded the "...life of the product under normal wear and tear...". Customer service was unable to find an item number on the belt. Cabela's return policy says in part, "...Items returned without a receipt will be processed...". Cabela's brand clothing is guaranteed. The belt was embossed with Cabela's name. Belts are accessories and found under clothing. It was a Cabela item that should have been returnable. When I asked if Cabela's belts were made to last only a year, I was advised that my belt had exceeded the "life of the product under normal wear and tear". A broken belt buckle is not "normal wear and tear". Whether it is a hard "life of the product" policy the customer is not privy to, or a case by case based on local interpretation, I suggest you reevaluate your return policy and add some definition that a customer can understand. Customer service could not find the item number. The belt was: Cabela's Legendary Men's Elk Belt; Brown; $59.99; Item # IK-957644. I paid $64.79. I would like my money back. Upon leaving, I gave the belt to the "Greeter" and asked him to toss it in his waste basket. It's doubtful I will ever trade at the Lehi Cabela's store. Their understanding of customer service is not mine. For the reader, if you find a store that has more verbiage lauding their customer service and quality of goods than you can read in a minute or two, go elsewhere. COSTCO and Home Depot are excellent examples of what a return policy should be. read more

The customer service at the Lehi, Utah store is horrible. I will never go back the guys that work the the depth finder department do not know nothing about depth finders. The employee was trying to sale me his favorite depth finder, what works for him may not work for me. The buttons on the display sonar did not work, i said no thanks, the employee got upset, blamed the malfunction on kids, a software update. I googled the reviews on the particular sonar, and 30% negative reviews, reviews read buttons quit working. The lehi store has at least 15 depth finders for sale, show me something else. read more

I wouldn't exactly go here to buy anything because it is all pretty expensive. The place is really cool though. Tons of cool things to look at, especially the fish aquarium! The place is huge and even has its own cafeteria. For me it is definitely a look but don't buy sort of place. read more

Took our kids to see the robotic man kneeling outside his tent with the (2) stuffed horses standing near the cabin tent and listened to him talk about all of the animals etc. and the Rocky Mountain Range. My two boys, ages 3 and 5 were quiet on the way home afterwards no doubt considering all of the animals they had seen in that area of the store and knowing that the animals had all been hunted, shot and stuffed to preserve them. By the time we got back to the freeway (headed toward salt Lake) our five year old piped up and, speaking in a tone that suggested he was a little afraid of the answer hesitantly asked (on behalf of him and his little brother), "Hey dad... is the man shot?" My wife and I nearly crashed the car (laughing hard). We couldn't believe he thought someobdy killed that poor old man and stretched his carcass over a (human) mold and then turned it into a robot.. It makes sense to us that they would think it was possibly so because everything else in that room had been shot and stuffed including two full size horses which they know we do not go "hunting" for... but there they were... stuffed and standing next to that poor (shot) old man. :) Gotta love the kids and their innocent perspective on life. read more

Great place for sporting goods! My husband loves the hunting & sporting items (particularly new/used guns & ammunition), while I prefer cruising the outdoor section to pick up knick-knacks for our next outdoor excursion. Anything you could ever need/want for going camping is found here - I outfitted my entire family for our last trip here (tent/gloves/bags/pads/etc...). I could probably get most of this stuff online, but I liked being able to try out the things I was buying. This store is MASSIVE, with a gorgeous aquarium as you enter the store. If you're familiar with Frys Electronics in California, with their crazy themes for each store, coming into Cabela's will remind you of that. read more

Went to Cabelas to look at there Nightforce scopes. I waited there at the counter for 20 minutes then when a guy was done helping a customer my wife asked him about the the scope I wanted to look at and he looked at her and told her that is a target scope and it's $2400 without knowing which one it was. The. He turned around a walked off. He acted like we couldn't afford it or something. So I went to Sportsmans Warehouse and bought one instead. read more

Some really friendly people on the floor upstairs, and in the shoe department. Everyone else is very content to ignore you and make you wait in line after line after line- that whole, I don't know, go wait over here for 10 minutes. I used to feel bad for these guys when scheels popped up down the street. Such a big beautiful building and such a large variety. But then I started becoming more involved in shooting and outdoors. Bottom line cabela's treats you like crap. Someone literally picked up the phone and hung up on me 3 times. They're way more expensive. Scheels I feel valued. And it's right down the street. Never again will I step foot in that store. read more

Called in, before driving 30 minutes out there. Glad I did. When the First Lady answered, she asked what I was looking for, I stated "A TLR-3 streamlight", she then asks me if I had an "item number". I had no idea what that was, so I said "no, but I am looking to buy it for my..." I was transferred mid sentence, without being alerted I was being transferred to camping. She didn't even listen to me, or let me know she was incompetent enough to have to send me to someone else. Luckily the camping girl, she looked up the light I wanted, they have 2, then I asked about ammo, and this woman was competent enough to let me know she knows little about ammo, and needed to transfer me to ammunition department. That's fine, I was happy at that point, but then I get transferred back to the woman that I first talked to, and she transfers me to ammunition... I waited on the phone for 10 minutes and nobody picked up. I hung up, and have decided to not give them my business.. hundreds of dollars of business. They really need to rethink their strategy about customer service, and workers... they seem cheep as a company, and over expensive for what they sell. I'll just wait for sportsman's to get what I want back in stock. At least they have more competent people who help you with dealing business. read more

I went here for the first time to buy a ruger 1911. I can say that they had a great selection of guns new and used. However I wasn't even acknowledged at the counter for a half hour... Maybe they were understaffed. I finally get the exact model I want and now I've been here 45 minutes. Then I'm 4th in line for a background check and they only have 2 computers being operated even though they have eight there strictly for that purpose. I'm now there for an hour and half and the line hasn't moved. So I decide to get my id back and take my $800 to scheels. (BTW, I checked the same gun on the cabelas website and it was on sale for $700 but the store hadn't marked it down and was going to have me pay full price.) Extremely poor service and I don't expect I will return. read more

Cabela's has a great selection to choose from and a nice open floor plan to display it all. We love Cabelas and Bass Pro! The only places we go to purchase fishing things and hunting gear! However, when dealing with customer service at the Cabelas in Lehi we were treated poorly. Neva, the lady that was helping us at the customer service desk was rude and made us feel like we were wasting her time. She proceeded to tell her boss about a young cashier messing up and causing problems. Her boss stopped her mid story and asked her to finish our transaction because she knew and we knew, it was not appropriate for her to be complaining about another coworker while helping us. She later apologized and told us that work has made her day long and exhausting! While that is understandable, it is still frustrating to us as customers to be treated with little respect, especially when she knew her behavior was unprofessional. It is unfortunate that one of our favorite stores has terrible customer service. read more

When my husband and I go to Cabela's, AZ or Lehi, UT the experience is one of good feelings. The stores are clean, not cluttered, experienced sales people(male and female), good quality. It has everything anyone who likes to be in the outdoors would want. You get what you pay for and the people at the front (customer service) are always willing to listen and help. Returns are smooth. I love looking at the animals and how they have them displayed. I think their specials are worth looking at also. It's been nothing but a positive and uplifting and learning experience everytime we go to Cabela's. My hat is off to them for their superior service and quality of products. read more

Customer service is what drives any business. Cabelas has always been good to me and my family. However, this recent visit was absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had thanks to the two cahsiers in the gun department. My son and I went there to purchase a firearm the day after Christmas. These two ladies seemed put out that they had to assist us. The attitude and customer service by these two has ruined it for me with this company. I will be cancelling my Cabelas Black Signature account. I also plan to let my family know about this also. They too, are Cabelas Signature Account Holders. read more

Want customer service? Bring a chair. Want to get something that you have on layaway and have filled out all the paperwork on? Bring a chair. Want someone at the discount cave or the gun cashier to acknowledge your presence? Good luck. Want help from someone who isn't a sales person? Be prepared to wait more than 20 minutes. Lehi Cabelas is rife with a "not care" attitude. Other than their aquarium, there's little that will bring me back to this store. I'll buy my camping and and ammo from Wal-mart before I ever buy anything from this place. read more

I had previously complemented this store on their dog policy, but had a real surprise on my last visit in November. We put our puppy in a cart and walked in as usual. No one said a word, not the greeter at the front door or any of over a dozen other employees on the first floor. Took the elevator up to the second floor and this rude witch of an employee ask if the dog was a service dog. Sure thing, a Miniature Schnauzer riding in a shopping cart is a service Dog. Anyway, I simply said no and she went off about dogs not being allowed in the store. I told her she was the first and only person to say that and she came back with a rather smart ass, "Well, I'm just telling you". Pissed me off the way she approached the whole thing so, I said fine, I'll leave. Tossed the gloves I was going to buy out of the elevator door and walked out. We did stop and ask the greeter what the policy was and he,told,us that,if someone asks, he tells them no dogs, but if they don't, he doesn't say anything. Keep in mind, there are absolutely no signs on the front doors. Got home and wrote a letter to the store manager expressing my displeasure with the whole matter, but never heard a word back. Oddly enough we went to the big Scheels store the next day and having asked before and having been told it was ok to bring him in riding in a cart, we thought we'd better ask again to be sure. We were told that pets were welcome in their store. Cabelas just lost a long time customer. read more

One of the coolest stores. I could spend a whole day here. They have almost everything you need. The only complaint I have on this company, and why I gave them 4/5 stars, is because they didn't have the best customer service. At least the person who helped me was this kid who tried, but not hard enough. I requesting to find a certain item, and he sent me in a general direction instead of really trying to help a customer out by going the extra mile and finding for sure where the item was located. Even if that meant asking another associate for me. I spent another 20 minutes trying to locate where this item was, only to find they were out of stock. Kind of a waste of my time. Overall though, I love this store, and really enjoy going here. It didn't help that my trip this time was one that I was in a hurry for. I didn't have the time to browse like I normally do, so the wasted time looking for an item was one that I could have gone without. read more

Horrible place. DO NOT give these people your business. At 8 o'clock on a Monday night, it took 20 minutes to even get help. Mind you, this is me begging to pay $1400 for a rifle scope. After I purchased the scope, my next encounter was with a clueless cashier. She was unable to use my passport and social security card as ID. What?! After retrieving my drivers license from my truck in the parking lot, she then stated that my drivers license numbers now didn't work. Thankfully, a manager came by and figured out what she was doing wrong. Again, I'm spending $1400 on a scope that I've saved for a year for. So, I then wait for an hour to have someone put the new scope on top of my rifle, and while waiting, a rude and grumpy cashier named "Maggie" then says to me: "I need your chair". Are you kidding me????? I ask for her name, and she freaks out (this is while she's with another customer- classy, cabela's!). To top it all off, I got to the range yeaterday, and the scope was not even mounted properly. Stay away from this place. It is apparent that they DO NOT CARE. The workers are just there to get their paycheck. Worst shopping experience I've ever had, and will never return. Incidentally, I filled out their customer survey at the bottom of the receipt. It asks if you'd like for a manager to call. Guess what? One never did. Nice work, Cabela's! read more
