The Armory is...and will be...our go-to location for weapon suggestions, as well as parts & accessories, but more importantly for great customer service and solid guidance and professional suggestions on best-fit components for our particular self-defense needs. Dalton helped explain to my wife all the features of the new pistol, especially the unique DA/SA trigger-pull arrangement associated with the Cherokee, and how trigger pull works with the loaded weapon. That, and how she should get a proper two-handed grip on the pistol using first her right hand to secure a solid purchase on the upper part of the grip followed by the proper wrap of the left hand around the grip/right hand to provide a solid and stable grip to the pistol. That, and after asking Dalton about training courses, he recommended one of his The Armory colleagues for training classes for my wife (and likely me as well...). He provided a card for Sit Aware Tactical training (S. Scolari) and that contacting him would be in our best interests in setting up a course for both of us. 30-minutes later - and after paying the FFL Transfer Fee - my wife was the proud owner of her first weapon. I am a bit of a novice to guns but love shooting at the range and I love the sport. As a novice, I created an issue with the gun that caused a jam I could not figure out. I looked for a gunsmith and Barlows was the closest. Glad it was. I explained the issue with Steve, and told him the rifle was fairly new. That it may be under warranty. No problem he said. Let me take it apart and if it's a warranty issue I'll let you know. There is a shop charge of $22 and that's exactly what it cost me. No fuss. No mess with shipping back to mfg for an issue I caused. Steve was accommodating and super helpful. He removed the jam, cleaned the rifle, bore sighted it and made some key adjustments to put me back on track and back at the range this weekend. All in a 24 period! Thanks Barlows

(They are the best on repairing 1911's). I went to the shop and told them of the problem I was having with the gun, that it was not cycling fully to chamber the next round. The gun was left for several months and not hearing from the shop I went in and was told that they couldn't find any issue with it. After getting the gun back I called Para and reported the cycling problem to them. I was sent a return box; postage paid and sent the gun to Para for their EXPERTS to look at the gun. They contacted me after just a few days and told me that the PROBLEM WAS OBVIOUS, the frame was bent, and a new gun was sent me by Para to replace the broken one. Now that is customer service. P.S. I told the department firearms instructor of my problem with Barlow's, and he said that he would NEVER again recommend them to anyone else. Scott I.
