Burly Burger is probably one of my favorite burger places of all time so I was ecstatic when they opened this new location a while back!! Since then I've visited this location around 8 times and it never fails to impress. My favorite burger is the Rock burger with the juicy pineapple. Whenever we have people visiting from out of state i try to bring them to burly so they get to experience it for themselves. The service is always pleasant and helpful, offering me water cups and sauce. They have a big seating area as well which helps when it gets a little more busy. Over all love this place!!!! Went to Burleigh burger for dinner tonight and the food was amazing. Absolutely love their fries. Was a little disappointed I had ordered the Swanson burger and was surprised at how little bacon was on it. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. It was a clean store. I will go back for more food. It was a good place to eat was slightly disappointed as I returned later in the evening, and they had already taken down the ice cream machine, but that was a timing issue and next time I'll just order the shake before I leave. read more

The shakes were way too thick and at the bottom of all of the shakes was just vanilla like they weren't mixed all the way. My sister's boyfriend only had 5 pieces of ores in his shake. Smh. Definitely not enough. Our shakes also came way later and already melted like they forgot about them. The vibe was amazing, you can definitely tell that it is a manly/burly themed restaurant. This was my second visit and this time my hubby and I dined in. The place is nicely clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. I got the classic burger and was pleased, the burger cooked well without being over done. Had a nice char on it that gave it good flavor. Also got the cheese curds and they had lots of flavor too; not just batter flavor but had a nice spice and came with marinara sauce. The menu is big enough to give a new flavor each time we visit and we will go back. I definitely recommend this place when you need a good burger fix. read more

So excited to have a Burly Burger in Layton! They have been open 3 weeks and I just saw they got their official sign today! They are still getting the swing of things, and the parking lot was really difficult, but besides the parking, it was a great experience. The employees were very kind to help me decide what to eat and didn't wait long for my food. I love the burly burger symbol on top all the burgers! So fun! I absolutely loved the Farly burger. It is a Buffalo chicken on top of a burger patty. Nothing like it! The fries are also incredible. They give you a number when you order, and they bring your food to you. I thought that was really nice. They also have someone to help you clean off your tables when you are done. Lots of fry sauce and ketchup on each table, and it's just everything you would want for a yummy and fast lunch! read more

Absolutely delicious burgers! I usually go to the South Weber location, but when I heard they opened a Layton location, I had to go here. I got The Paul Bunyan and added a bunch of free add-ons: garlic aioli, pepperochini peppers, grilled jalapeños, and pickles. Trust me, if you order what I got, your burger will be packed with flavor! It's my favorite out of all of the burgers here. Along with the burger, I made it a combo and got sweet potato fries and a drink. The sweet potato fries were crunchy and great. One tip I want to give you is to take advantage of the free add-ons to make the burger more flavorful. Parking at this place is VERY limited so if you plan to go during rush hours for lunch or dinner, you might have some trouble finding parking They also offer military discount! read more

Excellent burgers and fries with a few glitches. We started going to the original South Weber location when they first opened and continued with the Layton location when they expanded. Maybe 90% of the time everything is spectacular, but we've had the occasional dry burger. Our order sat around once until we went up and asked where it was. They did apologize and gave us a voucher for a free meal. Fries are the absolute best. I think they were cold once, but mostly excellent. The people that work with the customers are pretty consistently cheerful and efficient. My biggest complaint is the horrendous metal chairs that scrape and groan across the concrete floor every time they slightly move. So very annoying! Please please get some rubber caps to put on the bottom of the chair legs! It really disrupts the dining experience. Like nails on a chalkboard. All in all, we recommend coming here! read more

We were at Northridge high school watching basketball and needed dinner. Didn't have much time so went here. Glad we did. Husband and I split the classic burly burger and it was delicious. I stand in the online order area and wait and wait and wait And look longingly at my order which is sitting on a cold metal counter which my text says was ready 30 minutes ago. My wife and I love Burly Burger, so we were excited to try the new store closer to home in Layton. We knew we would find it busy, as it was Friday night at 6:45 pm on March 22, 2024 with ticket #90. They were epically slammed with an already stuffed restaurant and a line of people waiting. It brought back memories of my own food service back in the ancient days! We both knew we wanted the Swanson in combos, but my first surprise was the frowning cashier who I could hardly hear, who didn't smile once in our time with her, and acted as if we were bothering her with our order. She never asked if we wanted large combos or even if we wanted anything else, she just rung us up (32 bucks) hand us our number and moved on. We found a table and knew we would be a minute for how busy it was. After about 35-40 minutes our food came out and it looked as good as the South Weber location and we were seriously hungry with the smells coming from our trays! We dug in, and my fries and my wife's sweet potato fries were perfect. We started eating the Swanson and it only took a bite or two to realize that both our burgers were missing a key ingredient, bacon. With the business still being super busy, we discussed returning it and getting new burgers, but couldn't stand the thought of waiting another 30-45 minutes for the bacon. The burger was cooked well, the egg absolutely spot on, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We made do without bacon, with some disappointment, finished our meals, refilled our drinks and headed home. Wish I could recommend this location, but it doesn't hold a candle to the South Weber location. We will be returning there in the future and I would highly recommend this to you as well! read more

More like a 3.5. We've been to the S Weber location multiple times so we knew we liked the food. The Layton location was quite busy and I thought we would be waiting a while for the food to come out but we were pleasantly surprised. We probably waited no more than 15-20 min. That was great especially considering how busy it was (Friday night). Burgers were cooked perfectly and there were big chunks of Oreos in our shake. Better quality ice cream is what we would recommend to really make the shakes over the top yummy. Fries always fantastic. Negatives: our table hadn't been wiped down very well even though the girl had just cleaned it off. She was probably in a hurry but I would've preferred waiting another few seconds to get a clean table. Now here's the worst part about our visit and why I docked stars...we were sitting right by the soda machine. There's a small hallway by there where the restrooms are located and a back door that goes outside. That door had been opened a few times and the stench of pot came wafting in. I am not a pot user, but after living in Oregon for many years, I became very familiar with the smell. Maybe it was someone not working there or maybe it was. At any rate, it should be looked into. I normally love Bradley but about a week we ordered and there was a metal staple in my basket. I sent pictures to DoorDash and never got a response. Makes me rather sad because as my daughter could've been seriously injured from this, I doubt I will ever eat up early burger again. Safety should be the Paramount concern at all times. read more

We ordered the Duke and the Classic (which I added cheese and grilled mushrooms onto) along with onion fries and mozzarella sticks to go. To quote my husband, "if you're looking for a good burger it's great. If you're looking for a delicious burger, you'll be disappointed." It's 3 stars because the mozzarella sticks were bangin and he really enjoyed the Duke. I was left feeling empty and cheated by the lack of kick in the onions though :( eating my classic burger everything felt very "meh" and bland, it all mixed into the same taste. The burger patty itself was pretty good but a patty by itself just isn't enough. The onion rings NAIL the melty onions that easily separate so you aren't forced to gnaw on it before it slides out of its breaded shell. That's the only thing they nail though. The onions themselves have no taste and the breading is equally bland. The service was fast and the gal running the register was FANTASTIC. Friendly and efficient. It was enjoyable to hear the buzz of conversation before we left with our food. I can't figure out how to rate each section differently but I'd give food a 2/5, and service and ambience a 5/5 each. read more

Decided to try Burly in Layton after being impressed with So O location. Staff was helpful. I ordered 1 Burley, rings and Rasp Shake. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. Took a bite of burger and it was way overcooked. I could have used it for shoe leather. Others at the table mentioned their burgers were way over cooked. The lettuce did not taste fresh so we took it off the burger. I bit into the onion ring and water squirted out and was undercooked. My buddies tried the other rings and they also were full of water from being frozen and undercooked. Others had French fries and they were crispy toasted (Overcooked). Average meal cost was $17 Per person. Place was clean. It was agreed we would not return. Too bad as the menu reads fun and could have been a fun experience. read more

So... my girl and I visited this restaurant today and we should've paid attention to the reviews. The fries were old, seems like the were hold overs from lunch and the bun on my burger was stale. I ended up eating with a knife and fork without the bun. Im an adventurous eater, so I have a strong constitution but my body completely rejected the food as I have now defeated 5 times now. If you're seeking a great suppository, try the number one seller that that has the onion rings. There's a reason the lobby was empty. But go and have your own experience and leave a review.
