We haven't returned since they manager was beyond rude. As we were making our order, the a young man helping us turned around and asked his manager , and manger raised his arms "do I look like I have --" I can't remember what they didn't have anymore.... We did arrive 20 min until closing for a take out order. We had a crazy day that day and the day before. Not sure why we chose that place to eat. Not sure why we stayed. We were exhausted. We never talked to them, just waited patiently. We knew they were upset at us for coming in the last 20 min. After we got our food, I went up to him and handed the manager and crew a large tip because we had arrived the last 20 minutes before closing. We felt bad that we came last minute and we still appreciated that they served us, but I told him that he just doesn't know what people are dealing with, to always have kindness. I cried and left. We Will never return to a five guys again. I had just lost my dad the day before. We don't have time for rude people. read more

i dont even know what happened to the bountiful location. We used to go there all the time. The last 3 times, it has been HORRIBLE. There was something missing/wrong with the burgers - order a large fry, didn't even get enough to fill the container. Had to share with 3 people when there's barely a small size. and don't get me started on the rudeness of the workers. what happened?!?! read more

Went to 5 Guys a little after 9pm. Little bacon cheeseburger, regular fry and medium drink was just under $20. If the food was great, that would still be pricey, but unfortunately the food wasn't that good. Bacon on the cheeseburger had been overcooked and had obviously been sitting out for sometime. Fries were over salted and had also been sitting under the heat lamp too long. Were dry and not up to their normal standard. Plus the music or acid rock was cranked up to a point where conversation would have been difficult. read more

My brother brought me here for my birthday while we was on our lunch break. It was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed at all. The cheeseburger I ordered with all the usual toppings and some sliced jalapeños was AMAZING. Can't forget about the order of Cajun fries that where AWESOME. They make a good burger. Yes, there's lots of accurate feedback online about the price, but the food is great. We went for lunch and it was a little slow, but the food is hot and fresh so no complaints. The only downsides were the lack of cleanliness although there was only 1 other person in the place so shouldn't have been too busy to clean, and the lady taking our order was a little rough. We've been to this place multiple times and won't let one bad experience turn us away. read more

I don't come here often, but when I do I'm reminded that it's a dang good burger! It is definitely more on the pricey side for a burger, but you can customize and it's always fresh and delicious. Fries are pretty good, but not my favorite. The Cajun is a good option! It is cheaper to dine in than deliver if you're debating between the two. read more

This was better than I remembered. It isn't my favorite burger place but it isn't bad. It is a bit pricey but I like that you can add any toppings for "free" and the portions are big. The fries are fresh cut and have a pretty good flavor. They were a bit well done but the fry sauce covered up any disagreeable flavor. A large fry fed my family of 6, granted our kids are still pretty young. I'm sure once they are teenagers, we'll need a couple large fries to feed us. The burger patties were a bit bland. It had a more natural ground beef flavor and didn't add salt and seasons like other burger joints. I could have had a bit more salt in the patty to help bring out the flavors. The buns were fantastic. Soft and thick. They didn't fall apart when eating the burger. Honestly, that was probably the best part of the meal. Service was pretty fast and friendly. It's kind of nice being able to watch them cook the food in front of you. Not sure if I'll make it back here any time soon, but I won't object if a friend wants to grab a burger at Five Guys. read more

I love this place and am willing to pay the price, which seems excessive, but my wife and I went in about a week ago to pick up lunch. They were great to serve us quickly and the food was great. However my wife and I are in a high risk group and were disappointed if not amazed that not a single employee of the restaurant was wearing a mask. Inexcusable!!!!!!! Employees were working in close quarters and social distancing was not possible but wearing masks for the safety of customers was easily possible. This place has gone down hill. The food is sub par, the restraunt is filthy, and the customers service doesnt exist. We ordered a milk shake and was delivered flavored milk- it was very runny. When we complained we were told "thats just how it is". So we asked for a refund. We waited 15 min for the manager to come out from the back room to give us a refund. Then, as we were gagging down our dry hamburgers, another manager came in the store and was so combative about our complaints that she followed us out to our car to confront our displeasure. I used to be top fan of another hamburger joint (known for its crossed palm trees). Over time I've come to find myself squarely in the 5 Guys camp. Fries are the best and the amount of fries one gets is crazy. A "little" fry will feed 2 people, a regular feeds 4 or more. Order the Cheeseburger (all the way) with jalapeños. I remove them before I eat the burger but just having them on for a few minutes is enough to retain a touch of the spicy flavor. Some locations offer milkshakes too which are pretty good. read more

The place was some what clean- although they need to consistantly go out and wipe down tables which they don't appear to be doing- and the food came out fast. If you are craving a good old fashioned hamburger cooked on the flat top, then five guys is the place. I always get their little cheeseburger with my choice of toppings and it is more than enough. The hot dogs are also delicious, split open and cooked on the flat top. The service is always friendly and fast. read more

Food is great but why is cleaning a table so damn difficult???? Every time (ok- most of the time) the tables are dirty and it is difficult to find a clean table. What kind of business model is " come spend your money with me but you have no clean place to sit"? Also, if you don't care about the cleanliness of the dining room what else aren't you cleaning????? Choose your burger and select as many toppings as you want all for the same price. and get into the peanuts.... boxes and boxes of shell on peanuts. we poured a couple of scoops into our bag and ate them in our hotel room later. there are plenty of tables, this store must get busy. it was clean and fast and had great air con. I had a grilled cheese as i wasn't massively hungry, it was in a burger bun and was pretty tasty. read more

Whenever I'm in the mood for a burger or a hot dog, I just pop right onto their website and start ordering. I know it'll be done the way I ask and not be too expensive. Ok, I did it. Despite my better judgment, I drove 20 minutes to try a burger and fries, and I don't think I regret it. I was worried that this place would be a mob scene when I showed up since I was showing up at prime lunch time, but thankfully the line wasn't very long and service was quick. I got a pretty standard hamburger with grilled onions, along with a "regular" Cajun fries. My order number was 42, always a good sign. I was pleased to see seltzer available at the soda fountain for those of us weirdos with East Coast roots who like to drink the stuff. I also wasn't expecting fry sauce to be available; I guess they did their research before they came into Utah. Within a few minutes, the extremely enthusiastic order number calling guy called my number, and the first thing I noticed was that they gave me at least two pounds of fries. I don't even want to know what the large fries are like. Anyway, the fries were super fresh, just crispy enough, and extremely well seasoned. That being said, I was only able to eat about half of them. My hamburger had two patties, which I wasn't expecting, and the meat was definitely high quality. It tasted like something that would come off of my grill if I was still allowed to have one at my apartment. (And this is a positive thing, because if I'm allowed to say so, I make a pretty awesome burger.) The bun could have been a little bigger, because all of my lettuce fell out of the burger after my first bite, and things got soggy in a hurry. But while it was messy to eat, it was definitely worth it for the deliciousness. While I don't envision myself frequently making the drive up here for a burger (since I don't often get in the mood for one), I think it was well worth the trip up to check it out. Unlike In-N-Out, this place lives up to the hype. read more

How exciting! I had NO IDEA there were a bunch of Five Guys in Utah? I always thought I'd have to fly to the East Coast or drive out to Orange County to get a taste. Right away I think I have to say the fries are better than In N' Out (I mean, the whole point of this taste test is to compare it to In N' Out, right?). The special sauce/thousand island/spread is not as good. But now the burger.... Man, it was so good. Sooo good. I got the cheeseburger with everything which i soon discovered meant a double-double which was perfectly fine with me but it would have been nice to have be warned considering I was en route from a temple wedding to the reception in my bridesmaid outfit and it was a bit much to handle (but totally worth it). I LOVE the grilled mushrooms that come with it. The patties themselves are so grillyflavorfulyyummwonderfulness. Did that make sense? It was a damn good burger. But I have to say... the way that In N' Out puts the cheese between the patties, and melts it to perfection, so that every bite literally melts your mouth and contains the cheesey, meaty, saucey mass.... In N' Out is still better. It was also funny to me how Five Guys' decor is like a bizarro In N' Out. The end. Now I want a freaking burger. read more

Walked in 10 minutes before close, thought they would had us but had a craving. The young men working were the most professional, nicest crew we have ever encountered. The restaurant was super clean. Noticed one worker changed gloves before handing food. Very impressed! They also gave us a ton of fries because it was closing. Good burgers, great cajun fries! I like the little hamburger (single) done with cheese and with the other classic toppings like mayo mustard, ketchup, topped with A1. I love A1, you should try it on a burger if you haven't yet. Their fry sauce is pretty good. A little heavy on the mayo flavor, but better than some others I've tasted around town. I still like their burgers, but I swear the flavor has changed a bit since they opened. I thought it used to taste even better. I can't put my finger in it. I really like Five Guys, I think they are the best chain burger place out there. I have also had the best experiences at this location consistently. The only other time I have had a better experience was when the first one in Ft. Union was just opening and they were working hard to impress. But otherwise this location has the most consistent food quality and service quality, and the location I have had the most issues with particularly in the food quality area is the one over in Holliday. I always get the Bacon Cheese with Grilled Mushrooms, Grilled Onions, Mayo and extra BBQ sauce, I recommend trying it this way if you haven't. read more

We love five guys. Its one of our go to places, however at this locations our whole idea of five guys was shook to the ground. Our burgers were made completely wrong, and when i say completely wrong i mean the only thing that was correct was cheese, and even then it was like they had just freshly placed a Kraft singles on a burger that had been sitting off the oven for an hour. When we checked the receipt we realized that everything on the receipt was correct, so we genuinely don't know how it was so difficult to make our burgers correctly when its written out right in front of them. We LOVE Five Guys. But after this experience were probably going to have to step away for awhile, the trust has been broken. read more

This place is great. It puts In and Out to shame. The staff is always great and the burgers are even better. If you are up for a long day of heart burn I recommend putting jalapenos on your burger. They are fresh and will put hair on your chest. The fries are good and they givr you a ton. Basically, they put your burger in the bag and fill up the rest of the bag with the fries. By far the best location I've visited of the Five Guys establishments. Food is always hot and fries are of course amazing! The crew doesn't tend to smile that much which leaves you feeling a bit unwelcome. The cleanliness here is really good and they seem to be polishing things up with any down time they have. The environment is great boasting all their well deserved achievements which their reputation for quality food is well deserved. This is another of the better Five Guys locations. Burger was done to perfection, fries were a bit above average, if slightly over-salted, Coke Zero mix was good and the place was clean. If there's a better chain burger out there, I don't know what it is. If you want them to make you a burger my way, choose either single or double patty, add cheese, bacon, mushrooms, jalapenos, A-1 sauce and get thee face full. Sometimes I will also add green peppers and less frequently a little splash of lettuce, but that's more of an option; the other toppings are standard. read more
