The short and sweet: Ya it's pretty good, those waffle fries were definitely on point. I also had no real complaints about the burger either. The in depth: Rj grill is just off of Main Street in the business center with Spankys, Costa Vida, etc. Just hopped in after a workout via the recommendation of my barber. The interior wasn't anything to write home about but that's not why I go somewhere to eat. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with waffle fries, and within 5-10 minutes they were out with my order. The star of the show turns out to be those fries, I don't know what seasoning they had in there but it was honestly fantastic. The burger itself was nice and juicy with chewy bacon. As I write this my mouth still feels the amount of salt that I just had so if you're wary of that here's your warning. They also had Mexican sodas and sweet treats, I didn't get any but it could be a fun addition to an outing here. In the end if you're in bountiful and want a good burger that isn't a chain, this is probably a top option. So we really like RJ's and the guy behind the counter was awesome, so friendly and likable. We decided to try something new at his suggestion. We usually go with the hamburgers and they're really quite good. Today we tried the following; Monte Cristo sandwich and it looked good and had good flavor but it was really thickly battered, too much so taking away from the flavor. 3/5 And the fluffy sandwich. Two grilled cheese sandwiches, as the buns, and a hamburger patty with mushrooms and bacon in the middle. Not something I would normally order but the guy at the counter said it was amazing with even better flavor than the burgers. It was good but I thought the bread took away from the overall flavor, needed more sauce, and the round patty doesn't fit with the square bread. Oh my, whoever RJ is they are a freaking genius! I had the hardest time deciding what to order being my first time, however I landed on the RJ Monte Cristo after a random guest heard my struggle for a decision and suggested it. This thing is epic! Classic monte cristo sandwich dipped and deep fried then served with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a side of jelly. Say what?!! Pair that heavenly sandwich with their mouth watering and perfect fries with fry sauce and you have a 10/10. I can't recommend this enough. We really enjoyed our food, and my husband kept raving about their attention to detail. The buns were buttered and toasted, our juicy hamburger patties were topped with flavorful pastrami and bacon, a generous mound of shredded lettuce, yummy pickles, thin sliced red onion.... Everything was very good and juicy. The different cheeses we had (cheddar and blue cheese) were delicious and good quality. The facility was clean as can be. Ordered Grub Hub and food was still warm. The menu is interesting and it's a different place for Bountiful. The tater tots are really good. Nothing fancy, just tater tots, but great. Just opened during COVID. Kudos to this family for opening during this trying time. The menu is classic grill food with some twists. They have Monte Cristos, Philly steaks and something called the Fluffy. Starting off they're keeping the menu small and perfecting what they have. But don't let that stop you, they have something everyone. You can substitute meat with Beyond patty. The sides are plentiful with fries, waffle fries, and even onion rings. All this for a bargain too as the burgers and sandwiches come with a side and a drink, for $9-10. What, a complete lunch under $10, that's unheard of nowadays? Seriously, go now! The surroundings were neat and tidy and the menu might look similar to what the typical Utah Greek burgers place does, but it's a bit more expansive. We walked up to the register to the worker pleasantly taking our order and offered recommendations of popular items. There was a little bit of wait for the food to arrive but it was so worth it because the food arrived hot and fresh. Our 16-piece wings were juicy and tender and a fine line between crispy and chewy. It was good. Each burger/sandwich we ordered came with fries and a fountain drink. Paid about $9-12 for each item; decent amount I would say for a combo. We ordered double cheeseburger, fluffy burger and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The bread for each sandwich was soft, too. Each burger/sandwich came hot, juicy and packed AF ( bonus!). My only problem today was the fries were overly salted. Other than that everything was wonderful. Would definitely like to return to try other menu items. read more

Every time I've been here I've gotten a burger and fries and it's been consistently good every time. Besides it being very good, the prices are very reasonable too! The people working there are also very friendly. If I'm looking for a burger in NSL/Bountiful, this is now my go to spot. Worth a visit. We decided to try this place on a whim seeing that it was rated well. We arrived and were promptly greeted and had someone ready to take our order. We ordered four different burgers/sandwiches to try. The food was made quickly and everything was warm when it was received. Hamburgers/sandwiches we tried: - Bleu Cheese - Jungle (Special) - Fluffy - Monte Cristo Our food came with fries/tater tots and a drink as part of the price for the items. We were pleasantly surprised with the taste. We will be visiting again. My only word of caution is the food (at least what we had) tends to be on the heavier side so prepare for a potential food coma. This is not necessarily a bad thing but don't think I could eat this every day. Met RJ and additional worker there and very pleasant and made us feel welcome. An additional bonus in my opinion was the Guarana and Inca Cola available as drinks (additional purchase cost I think) Overall had a pleasant experience and will likely be visiting on a regular basis. read more
