The portion, the flavors, were both spot on. I'm a sucker for a good meatball sandwich and this did not disappoint! My youngest got the pepperoni pizza meatball sub and ate the entire thing in one sitting (which is rare). I call that a win! My husband and my oldest child both got the Hook & Ladder. My husband said it was the best sandwich and he'd order it again. I didn't try it, but it smelled AMAZING! My oldest liked it as well, but said it had a tad too much mustard for her, but it didn't ruin the sandwich. She still really liked it. I can't believe this is my first time trying sandwiches from here...but it won't be my last!

Culver's in Layton is a few years "new", which makes it even more weird that so many things…read morefeel... sticky. And I do mean a pattern, not a one-off. Front door? Sticky. Restroom door handle? Sticky. Table? Also sticky. After the third visit with the same issue, I felt like it was worth saying something to the management. Now, the food itself is a different story. The burgers are simple, solid, and always hot. I can honestly say I've never been served a cold burger here. The cheese curds are a hit with my family, and I'll give credit where it's due: they're pretty darn good. The shakes and frozen custard are excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The chicken? It's fine. Not bad, not magical. Kind of in the "you could make something similar at home" category. If you love ranch, that may help the experience along. Drive-thru is where things can go sideways. Be prepared for delays, repeating your order, and the occasional feeling that the crew is having way more fun than the customers are. Maybe it's an off-day thing, maybe it's a pattern, but it has happened enough that I expect it now. (I don't care if they're having fun. It's the screaming through the intercom, inattentive order taking because they're screwing around that I am simple over it) Would I go back? Yeah. The food is good enough that I probably will...not. (my kids will) Would I prefer to be in the passenger seat while someone else handles the ordering? Also yeah. For food that's not bad but not great (just "meh") I'll go down the street to El Burrito instead.

The employees at this…read morelocation, specifically the gentleman with red hair, are incredibly rude and disrespectful when under pressure. I was assigned to pick up and deliver a cheeseburger and fries from the bountiful location, they were very busy. I let them know what the name for the order was and was told it would be out in a second. I waited patiently with around five other doordashers that had been waiting for over 20 minutes, and watched as some lady's order got taken by the wrong person. She came up to the counter a few minutes later asking where it was, the employees just told her to hang on. She waited for a good 15 minutes before they brought out a new order. I was asked a few times to repeat what the name was for my order, each time being told "it'll be right out", and then another 5 minutes go by and the man with red hair tells me my order has been picked up by someone else and there is nothing they can do. Even though I had watched them replace and comp the lady next to me's order. I asked him what I was supposed to do, his tone became condescending and he told me to just click the button on doordash. I was frustrated and trying to understand why he couldn't just remake the order like he did for the other customer, I mentioned that I had just stood there for 30 minutes and his only response was "that's not my fault, bye" in the same condescending and belittling tone. I was shocked for a second before I turned and walked out. I understand being busy and stressed out but I will never understand speaking to someone like that. Will never suggest eating here.

We stopped by the Red Robin in Layton recently, and while a few parts of the meal were good,…read moreoverall it fell short of what we were hoping for. Drinks & Appetizers: The highlights of the visit were definitely the drinks. I ordered the Watermelon Dragon Fruit Margarita--the Tajín rim gave it a fantastic flavor contrast, making it really delicious. My husband had a pineapple coconut drink that he thoroughly enjoyed as well. They also brought out a basket of bottomless fries right after our drinks arrived so he could get started, which was a nice touch. (My bottomless broccoli side didn't come out until the main meal arrived.) The Food: Unfortunately, the entrees were pretty disappointing: Cheeseburger: My husband liked how juicy the patty was, but it came piled with an excessive amount of onions. They kept falling out everywhere, making the whole burger a hot mess to eat. Cajun Salmon: I ordered this hoping for some kick, but it was surprisingly plain and very bland--hardly any Cajun flavor or spice at all. Service & Experience: Service was sparse throughout the meal; our waitress only stopped by our table a handful of times. My husband was hoping to get a refill on his bottomless fries, but by the time she dropped off the check without asking if we needed anything else, we knew we weren't getting any more. Between the bland entree, messy burger build, and absent service, we probably won't be back.

I got the spencer burger and enjoyed the spice and flavor of it all. I found the onion rings to be a bit overcooked as the onions had a rubbery texture and were hard to bite through. If I can still see the shape of the slice, I feel it needs more melting ! Though expensive and even slightly overpriced, seven brothers does offer a good meal !

When tipping is no longer my or others choice, don't be surprised customers are going to feel indignant. Cubby's system, at least at this location, is automatically set to give a tip. Make sure you select "no tip". Yes- I agree, I should've made sure, but it's set to give a tip as you're about to check out. A more appropriate approach is to have the system set at "no tip". This allows the customer to determine if "the service" provided was sufficient to be rewarded a tip. Lastly, I didn't feel it was appropriate to walk up to the staff and say, "I want that tip refunded"... as they're making my food.
