i guess it depends on what you expect in a sub. they do make freaky fast subs but it how long can it take to put hardly any filling in it. they taste fine but overpriced for what you get. ive tried them several times over a period of 15 yrs in 4 cities in four states and it's the same story way before the scamdemic. if ya actually got what they show in their ads and even on the menu inside the stores. false misleading advertising and i can't for the life of me figure out how they are still in business. makes me think of the movie falling down. read more

So disappointed. I wanted jimmy johns one last time before going back to Cali. I called and placed an order for a pick up for 3 veggie sandwiches with chips and 2 sodas. They screwed up 2 out of 3 sandwiches. They didn't even give my chips but they sure charged me for them. Ugh. Terrible service. Not sure if they just can't keep employees, there's an issue with management or something else but this one has been an issue a couple time now. I ordered off the website at 10:59 and they received it at 11 upon opening. I didn't receive it until 11:50, four blocks away. Mondays at 11 are clearly not busy so not sure what the issue was. I actually go to this spot quite often and they do a good job on the food side. But most recently it seems like they maybe got a new manager or something because they seem to always have an employee designated table in the guest area piled with junk and they aren't nearly as friendly as they used to be yet a lot of them are the same kids. After going on a two hour hike, the guy wanted to refuel at Jimmy John's. It was my first time eating here & I absolutely loved it! Personally, I think Jimmy John's is better than Subway because the service is faster & the sandwiches are gigantic. Everything is made right in front of your eyes & the ingredients are fresh. Their only downfall is the prices of their drinks, chips & Kosher pickles are on the pricey side but it won't stop me from visiting them again. read more

I ordered 4 sandwiches "to go" for our office. They do make them fast, however, when they called out that the order was ready they put them on the counter. I told them it was "to go" and asked for a sack. The young man pointed to the sacks behind the counter and said "here they are". He was so sweet & understanding that I couldn't get online to work & and said how tricky it is for some with out of town addresses (which I know I'm IT challenged but made me feel good I'm not the only one). When I say "reasonable", for a business who says they are freaky fast, an hour to hour and half is definitely UNREASONABLE I call to cancel order and get nothing but excuses. Love Jimmy Johns. Its hard to make a person who is such a die hard fan vow not to return to a specific location. Oh, and I think everyone would agree it's tough to screw up a SANDWICH order. Well, they did both. First thing? Anyone that eats here knows it is a habitual problem nationwide to have these guys remember to cut the sandwich even after a specific request. Ah well, I can let that one pass. What I can't stand is that they add tomatoes when they are explicitly asked to take them out. Then botch the actual sandwich meat itself. Really? Top it all off, my wife is pregnant and she simply asked if someone could just walk out the order to the car. Easy ask, right? She had sick kids in the car and didn't want to get anyone else sick. Well, the management here at the Antelope drive location has deemed it appropriate to charge folks for a delivery fee and not tell them. Don't ask for anything extra or custom as these folks have a hard time with it all. And for everyone that thinks, what would management do if a person actually went out of their way to confront them regarding all these issues? Nothing. No apology. No refund for the delivery fee. They had extremely fast service, which was amazing. As soon as I finished paying, my sandwich was ready! However, the one thing I disliked was the temperature of the sandwich. They always say hello when I walk in, the menu is easy to read and simple to order from. The bread, meat and fixings are always fresh and they make it so freaky fast most of the time my sandwitch is ready before I walk the 15 ft to pick it up. So, I've given a couple different JJ's a couple different tries, but I've never been too impressed. Their sandwiches are okay at best, in my opinion. You can get a better sandwich at Subway. I went to JJ's the other day for a slim because I was a little hungry, but not starving. That was a mistake - I got an insane amount of bread, 3 strips of lettuce, and a piece of ham, basically. The service here is legit. I was handled my sandwich literally 3 seconds I was handed my receipt. It was relatively slow, just a few customers trickling in throughout my visit.
