I hate to leave a bad review, especially for a small local place. But the food was really bad! I was excited I could get an omelette and scone in a drive thru! The inside is a cute diner, so the drive thru thing didn't scare me away. But it wasn't worth it. The omelette was weird. I usually think there is too much cheese on omelettes, but there was basically none on my Denver omelette. And it was all on the outside, which I never thought would be a problem, but all the ham and peppers that were inside were cut SO small it was impossible to eat them with a fork. A little cheese on the inside would have kept it together and made it easier to eat. It also had no flavor. The only thing "seasoning" the omelette was the green bell peppers and onions. The scone was worse. The honey butter was good. Hard to mess that up. But the scone tasted like dry flour. It was dense and flourless. The potatoes had a little flavor, but when you stabbed them brown oil seeped out. I've never seen that before. Anyway, my excitement for "good" food in a drive thru didn't last long and I'm sad to say this place was a bust. I feel like I wasted quite a bit of money on food I barely ate. read more

Came here for a "beehive sandwich co", we were very confused when we got here and it didn't exist, and was instead burger stop. So we asked the front desk and they said it is the same place but they couldn't take our order and we had to order online. So we did that and the food was ready fairly quickly, the fried pickles were good but the sandwich I ordered was not what was shown in the picture online. The picture online displayed a sandwich that looked like a classic melt on wheat bread but that is not at all what we got, it was small and not even melted well, the salad was weird and everything was falling apart and the sweet potato fries were cold. Don't come through the drive thru unless you want to be ignored. We came here got told they would be with us in a bit. sat for 15 mins. While 3 cars behind us leave we then decide to go inside to find out the chick taking order is blindly ignoring us. (Red hair young teenager with a hickey on her neck) so we say something and they do nothing they do not care we were trying to order. Horrible establishment horrible customer service. I hadn't been to Burger Stop in years. They were selling a shamrock shake (which sounded delicious) so my 7-year-old and I decided to stop by and grab some lunch. We stopped by on a Sunday around 3:00 and it was very quiet and empty. We went right up to the counter and placed our order. They took my name and then I let my daughter choose where to sit. She picked one of the glittery red booths in the back. Right after we sat down, an employee brought us out our shakes (so fast)! My daughter gave the shake two thumbs up! Not long after, they brought out our food. I was expecting my chicken club sandwich to be on the smaller side, but I was pleasantly surprised when they brought it out on a hoagie roll! I devoured 3/4 of it and took the rest home. My daughter enjoyed her chicken nuggets and she helped me polish off the tater tots. The food was absolutely delicious and the environment was fantastic! We enjoyed the decorations, watched a little football, and my daughter even danced to the music. We had a great mother daughter day and I'm glad we choose to eat at Burger Stop. read more

I got the Philly cheese and my boyfriend got the Mushroom Burger, and it was cooked fine and the portions were good. Both our food just lacked flavor and tasted kind of bland. We were next door at Sill's grabbing breakfast when we saw this place and decided to return for a late lunch. Given the reviews, I wasn't sure what exactly to expect but our burgers were very good. I've gotten used to the thin patties that many burger joints are serving these days. So it was great to see that Burger Stop had a nice, thick, well-cooked patty. We ordered the stopper, which was a basic burger with cheese, and the bacon cheese burger combo meals with fries. I upgraded my drink to a chocolate milkshake with snickers, despite being tempted by the seasonal iced sugar cookie shake. While our burgers were above average, the shake tasted like it wasn't made with real ice cream and it lacked the creaminess that I was hoping for. The snicker mix ins were also pretty skimpy. The fries had no salt or pepper. I would return to Burger Stop for a burger and perhaps skip the shake next time. read more

It had been years since I'd been to Burger Stop and it did not disappoint. We decided to go into the diner to order and I was taken back to a simpler time with Elvis, cola, and muscle cars. The atmosphere was wonderful and everything appeared to be clean and ready doe patrons. The service was friendly and quick. The staff all seemed to be in good moods and enjoyed working at Burger Stop. Our family of 6 all ordered different items off the menu. Two of my kids decided to share the Spare Tire and it ended up feeding three kids. All of the food was fresh and tasted great. A little more sauce was needed on my pastrami burger but otherwise it was fantastic. I'm glad to live closer to this establishment. Good burger places are few and far between here in Utah and I'm afraid the search continues... I ordered the mushroom & swiss, single patty, no mayo, a side of regular tots and a chocolate banana shake. Everything was just meh. The mushrooms are from a can, so they were flavorless. The cheese was good, and definitely forego the mayo on this burger. I think mayo would ruin any flavor you get from the swiss cheese and beef. The tots weren't seasoned much or at all, and the shake didn't seem to have the bananas blended in, so it was more like a soft serve chocolate shake with banana slices. A good chocolate banana shake should be blended so you get the mix of flavors in each spoonful. I like the buns they use on the burgers. They seem to yield a good bun to burger ratio. What's more American than a double bacon cheeseburger, fries, a soda, and a shake? Eating all of that on Independence Day! I RED the reviews, opened my mouth of WHITE and BLUE through all of those items on the Fourth of July. I'm a fan of all things burger shop. Especially these old drive-thru drive-in type. It's pure Americana. It's kids getting a malt and then hopping down to the five and dime. This place actually pulls on the ol' nostalgia strings a bit with a throwback decor, black and white checkered floor, you get the idea. It's a schtick, but a schtick that works. The menu isn't exactly old school--instead of basic burgers, they give their burgers names and descritpions; pre-built package ideas that they make to order. I don't have a problem with that, but I do lean more towards a place that has simple things on the menu like "Burger," "Double," or "Cheeseburger." I gotta admire the creativity and you can get some not so standard hamburgers (guac, anyone?) and that's not a bad thing. I placed my standard order and in short enough time my number was announced. I went back to the counter, grabbed the food, and inhaled it. The burger is that ground beef mouthfeel you only get at these kinds of places, super simple, but the beef shines through. The bacon was rendered but not crisp, just how I like it. The fries are a little thicker here--not shoestring, but a little body to them. Not the big wedges, but again, not quite the classic fry you'd expect a carhop to skate you to your Plymouth. And the shake was really good. Not too chocolatey, not too blonde. It had real banana in it, and there were almost too few chunks, but I'm not going to complain about a well-mixed shake. This restaurant is set up like a 50's malt shop with fun decor and a checkered floor. They regularly host car shows in the parking lot and sponsor events. Their menu highlights the burgers, but they also have other items like sandwiches, breakfast items, and scones. The staff is friendly and helpful but a bit slow on the delivery. I've tried a few of their burgers and they were good. You can order different sizes depending on how hungry you are. I got the junior mushroom burger which didn't look very impressive but it tasted good. I also ordered one of their scones. It was a bit greasy and the honey butter wasn't as sweet as I typically like. The scones were huge though and I didn't finish all of mine. My husband is always looking for a good burger and didn't feel like they scored higher than middle of the road. As for burgers, they can't come close to their nearby competitors (Crown Burger, Pace's, etc.) I've been disappointed by just about everything I've ever tried here. Most recently, I thought I'd try their scones they've been pushing on their sign for quite some time (trying to compete with Sill's much?? Lol) I had low expectations going in, and they delivered. First off, we went to the drive through, which had no line. We ordered 2 scones, that's it. As soon as we ordered, there were a couple cars right behind us. The wait was probably 7-8 minutes. For two scones!!! I'm sure the truck behind us was wondering what we could have ordered!! It would take 10 seconds in the fryer and the scones would be done! When she finally opened the window, she said "here you go!" Rudely like we inconvenienced her. It was 2 scones lady... during breakfast hours! The scones weren't any good. Check out the photo of the scone they had to tear to fit in the take out container.. My wife couldn't take more than a couple bites.. I was able to have most of it, but I didn't like their honey butter much. We went home to eat, so I used our own honey butter from home that was much better. Hands-down the best burgers in town. My previous favorite rhymes with Shin and Shout, and Burger Stop blew them away. The shakes here are custard-y and ridiculously silky. It's pumpkin season so I went with the pumpkin cheesecake + Oreo and I was sad as soon as it was gone (see photo). This is notable because I have *never* finished a shake for dessert. This is literally the first time -it was that good. Everyone who worked on the Burger Stop team was friendly, kind, and provided excellent service. I remember as a young person coming to Burger Stop from Grantsville with my dad and grandpa. We would go to Day Farms and pick our green chile, after we would always stopped for a burger and shake. My grandpa would take in a chile pepper and enjoy it with his burger. He was always so happy that he got to eat at one of his favorite burger places! Great memories! I now live close by and we continue to carry on this tradition with our children and now grandchildren. We love the fresh tasting shakes and hot fresh made to order burgers.
