First time coming here after passing it many times with my wife. Walked in and the counter girl was nice. Being it was our first time we had some questions and she gracefully answered them. I got a bacon cheeseburger. My wife got the pastrami burger and we both enjoyed it. I liked that I was able to add grilled onions and fresh jalapeños for no up charge . Tasted like the food was cooked fresh being it came out hot and didn't have a long wait. The burger bun was one of those soft buns kinda like a Hawaiian role. Burger was flavorful but not greasy. I liked how it was served in foil wrap where we could food down the sides and eat without getting anything on our hands. As for the ambience, the first table we sat at was super wobbly so we switched tables. Second table the napkin holder was really dusty which was kinda gross for us as we noticed it when we needed one while we were eating and it felt like it was going to get our food and hands dirty. We did look over at other napkin holders and the others didn't look dusty. Though the overall restaurant felt and looked pretty clean. Meals where convo comes with fries but drinks are ordered separately. They have fountain options and glass drink options. Overall it was a good experience and if in the area I would stop by again.

The decor is extremely lacking here, it's just white walls. The bathroom walls, light switch, and door are really dirty. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming. When you order you decide on your burger and add all the topping that you want. The jalapeños are not pickled they are fresh jalapeño so keep that in mind. The burger itself was only ok, the patty is very thin and by the time you put a few toppings on you don't taste much of the burger. I did really enjoy the fries, not too soft and had a little crunch to them but they were just a bit too salty. The fry sauce is great! The serving size of the fries is a decent portion so between the two it's a filling meal.

Double pastrami cheeseburger with almost everything..classic & tasty.

Good classic, greasy spoon-style burger in a clean but definitely boring space. It's also small-ish, so the big garbage cans throughout the room are a bit distracting. And why no air conditioning?? It was very warm in there. As for the food, burger was tasty, simple but made your way, with lots of fresh topping options. It's on the greasy side but juicy.. My two complaints, the pastrami barely showed up, it needed more. A bigger issue, the bun was mush upon opening its wrapper and squished into a soggy nothing, hard to keep it from falling apart. They need to switch it out for one more durable. Fries were nice and crispy, great in fry sauce or their house-made ranch. It's a fast casual place, order at the counter. A double pastrami cheeseburger and fries with a brownie ($4 and yummy) and just a water came to $20, which some may find a bit pricey for what it is. Again, it's so bland inside. I would do more to give the place a desirable atmosphere (and some color!). But otherwise I liked it.

The burgers and fries are to die for! They really do hand-form the patties and I think they double fry their fries. Best fries around!

I've heard a lot about Patty Shack, I was sorely disappointed. 1. $13 for a bacon cheeseburger is a lot of money. Well, I can get a full mail for $10 down the street. 2. They totally screwed up my wife's sandwich. NO TOMATOES, NO ONION!!! 3. Fries were over salted. 4. Fries tasted good. 5. My burger tasted good, but not great as advertised. This will probably not be on our regular stop to eat. Probably a once and done

Great burgers!!! Try the Patty Daddy!!! It's a triple burger with bacon and pastrami, about a pound of meat in all, and it's hard to get your mouth around, but worth it!

The Fries Are Delightful! The Burger Has a Perfect ratio of Patty to Lettuce to Cheese to Bun. I would recommend it.

I ordered a double cheeseburger meal. It was delicious. Like 5 Guys but with WAY better French fries and a cheaper price tag. (Cheaper--not cheap.) The only reason this was a 4 and not a 5 star was the chairs. So uncomfortable. Too many places around here like those cheap metal chairs that dig into you from behind if you weigh more than 100 lbs. If I had just done takeaway? 5 stars.

Our burgers, the bacon cheeseburger and pastrami cheeseburger came out Luke warm. The bun felt like the cheapest bun in existence. The flavor was pretty good but the cool temperature and bad bun took away from the experience. Smallest fries I have ever received, but they were the absolute best of our meal. The staff was friendly, but all the toppings were cold including the supposedly grilled mushrooms and onions. Seemed like all the toppings were prepared well in advance. It reminded me of a concession stand at a football game. Drinks were pricey and had limited choice. All in all there are much better options for your burger money within a very short drive.

Her favorite is the #11 Enchilada (she prefers them because of the shredded chicken and "soft on her teeth" aspect). I personally ordered one of their Taco Salads (Asada, because I love steak)! It was absolutely delicious and loaded in ingredients. We also ordered a side of their medium size French fries and they were cooked exceptionally well and came with plenty of ketchup and mayonnaise (just in case you might want to make "fry sauce"; the Utah favorite out of them). I had kindly suggested to make the birthday meal "extra special", and the employees went above and beyond to do just that! Got a few tasty unexpected treats along with the sweetest note that can still bring tears to her eyes! The attention to detail, friendly and accommodating employees, along with the freshness of food and good portion sizes is the reason why this place deserves over a 10+ rating! Keeping with a couple criteria, an untried venue, check! Food, (most importantly) check! and nearby, check! We decided to throw on some foot covers and head out the door. A quick jaunt and we'd arrived. Super easy to find even though it isn't street facing. Expecting it to be bustling with NYE recovery folks, we were surprised to find a quiet establishment that had two other patrons. Quickly I grabbed up a menu and we were immediately greeted with a friendly "Good Morning" from a very energetic and enjoyable young man. We sat and perused the menu. Talking over what we wanted vs what we should have. It took less time to make our decision for our order than most food stops in our past. I ordered the Mortician with Pepper Jack instead of the American Cheese it was paired with. Our order taker guy, (also the energetic greeter) inquired if I wanted to make it a double. I answered to the affirmative, (with a sheepish smile on my face). My wife conservatively ordered the Thursday Special, consisting of the Morty's Iconic Cheeseburger and fries. After paying and sitting down, our once greeter/order taker now waiter guy appeared with a large bottle of pour-it-yourself Fry Sauce and a handful of napkins. I looked over the sauce and quickly realized I hadn't ordered the Onion Rings that I wanted to try. I quickly mentioned to our greeter/order taker/waiter guy before he disappeared behind the kitchen doors that I needed the onion rings. With a smile and a thumbs up he said, I gotchu. I asked if there was a separate charge and stood up to pay. He quickly interrupted my advancement with an outstretched hand and a more pronounced, I Got You. This, of course was not my intention to get free stuffs but I was pleased just the same. My wife quickly grabbed some loose cash from her purse and added it to their tip jar. Thanks Babe! Once again you show me one of the many reasons for my affection toward you! We sat and did some chit-chat, continuing conversations from earlier that day. Sooner than expected, our food shows up, piled high and filling the plates with our side orders, (see photos). I literally had to take off the onion rings that were part of the sandwich makeup to even consider the possibility of moving the Mortician into my mouth, (TWSS! ...if you know, you know). Im finding this experience difficult to put into words. So, I'll sum it up. Delicious and juicy and fantastic! For once, outside of a homegrown burger, I'm able to enjoy the separate flavorings of Bacon, Beef, (which I think is marinated), the jalapeño and the pastrami as well as the aioli. After a quick drink to cleanse my palette, I grabbed up an Onion Ring. I paused to reflect on my existence and quietly muttered, this is really good! Crispy beyond any previous onion ring order from any of the, what could be hundreds of orders of rings during my 59 years, and delicious. I savored every bite, licked my fingers, and made happy "mmm mmm" sounds as I partook of this fine deliciousness. We finished everything! Talked about how this particular Morty's has now been labeled a family staple. Our experience is not just made up from the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, free onion rings, and did I mention the delicious food?, no. It's all of these as a whole, bigger experience, making it a unique and favorite beginning to a new year. Thanks to you, Morty's and our favorite greeter/order taker/waiter/I gotchu guy, we both are still smiling from our visit. Thank you for the excellent experience. We are looking forward to our next visit!

I stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and I chose to order and eat inside because the drive thru line was way too long. I hadn't eaten all day so I ordered two Double Doubles, Animal Fries, and a small soda. This is what I usually get at other In-N-Outs if I'm really hungry. I ended up waiting over ten minutes for my food while plenty of other customers who came in after me ordered and got their food in a couple of minutes. I don't know what was taking so long for my order, but I was getting impatient. Maybe it was the grilled onions. That's usually the excuse for why an order is taking longer to prepare, but I don't know. When I got my food everything tasted great as always but not long afterwards on the drive to Salt Lake City I started feeling ill. I had an upset stomach that started to hurt a little and when I got to my hotel I had to lay down for a while. Fortunately things didn't get any worse but I couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day and just had small amounts of water. I don't know if I've ever gotten sick from eating In-N-Out food before. I've had this same order from many other In-N-Outs before and never had an issue.

The burgers are simple, solid, and always hot. I can honestly say I've never been served a cold burger here. The cheese curds are a hit with my family, and I'll give credit where it's due: they're pretty darn good. The shakes and frozen custard are excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The chicken? It's fine. Not bad, not magical. Kind of in the "you could make something similar at home" category. If you love ranch, that may help the experience along. Drive-thru is where things can go sideways. Be prepared for delays, repeating your order, and the occasional feeling that the crew is having way more fun than the customers are. Maybe it's an off-day thing, maybe it's a pattern, but it has happened enough that I expect it now. (I don't care if they're having fun.
