Not a bad establishment, could use some improvement. First off, so cute! Such a cute place, it's not large whatsoever it gives fast food feels, but not in a cheap way. It feels authentic and it has a great menu, I want to go back for a breakfast burrito, which they say they serve breakfast all day! I got our food to go. I purchased beef red Enchiladas, one shredded beef gordita, one asada crispy burrito, and one kids meal- quesadilla & fries. I was deeply disappointed in the kids meal, I thought the quesadilla would be larger due to the price, but it was average and the fries were not steak fries they were also average $7. The crispy burrito was average/medium sized ut held asada and cheese in it, that was all but it tasted great!, the enchilada meal was good portions, the taste is something you prob should be more familiar with. It tastes a lot like Ancho chile with a hint of chile negro-- I could be wrong, but my point in this is that it's not tomato based like what you might be used to anywhere else, no offense but even when I cook those chiles at home I add tomato because it helps tone down the taste and it think it's tastier that way IMHO. Yes it tasted good, but it was not a nice surprise. The thing I was disappointed with, was the gordita. The masa was rancid. I could smell that it was an old stale gordita shell the moment I bit into it. I think this is prob a premade frozen shell and not homemade w masa on deck. That's not authentic, masa -I wish I knew how to translate that word into English, but I don't, it's the corn base used to make tortillas and etc. So here's the thing, mass could be made and prepared and kept in the fridge ready to go and it's delicious, this however was not fresh nor authentic- I could be wrong, but it totally gives me vibes of pre-made and processed bought at the store type of shell. However, everything inside of it was delicious, the beef with beans and cheese and pico. I bought a side of beans and rice on the side because my burrito and gordita didn't come with it, it was good. The service was nice, the guy at the register spoke English but I was confused if he knew much, I asked opinion on things on the menu and I asked him Qs, he answered them but sometimes he went quiet hahaha, I guess I had many Qs, but he also had a mask on so maybe it was not easy to communicate. I speak Spanish and I'm Latina so I did speak some Spanish and he kept w English, usually I know natives love Spanish and he didn't so I took a hint that he knew exactly what I was asking in English hahaha. Nice dude, kinda quiet. I wanted to give this place 4 stars, but the authentic neglect kept me from that, it felt a bit deceptive- the green salsa looked and tasted like Herdez, the red salsa was good too though. Overall it's got good rice and beans and the proteins in the food were tasty! Portions could be a bit larger, every kids meal I've ever gotten fed both my toddlers enough and this one was LACKING, should cost $5 if you ask me, but anyway I'll try the burritos next time.

This is homestyle cooking at its best. The portions are always huge. This is a family owned business that uses real ingredients at its freshest. Such good value, best bang for buck in the area.

I wanted to love this place - we ended up here because Spanglish was closed. We got the Gordita, Torta, street tacos & Asada Fries. It was good. Nothing to write home about but still petty good in comparison to the limited options for authentic Mexican in the area.

WE LOVE MR DELICIOUS! Came in for the first time last night as we were craving some carne asada fries. We were met with super friendly service, the food was made fresh and quick (we ordered takeout and were in and out in 8 minutes!) and the restaurant was very clean. The carne asada was DELICIOUS! You can also ask for salsa - they have three types ranging from mild to spicy! It seemed like a family owned and operated establishment which just added to our experience - they were so nice and made us feel right at home.

This restaurant recently opened in our area and I finally made it in to try it out. It's a cozy spot with only a few tables but it looks like they do a ton of take out business. I ordered a beef chimichanga and loved it! It was HUGE, and completely overflowing filled with shredded beef and beans. It was covered with quacamole (I had asked for them to leave off the sour cream). I can't wait to go back soon and try more items off their menu!

Carne Asada #10 Fries

Small joint right off Antelope is cute and had tons of authentic treats and snacks from Mexico for purchase outside of the normal menu items. We were greeted by a young girl who was attentive and repeated our order back before giving our final total. Before our meal was given to us, the same girl gave us a small goodie bag full of authentic Mexican treats! We got the carne asada fries and several street tacos. With our order to-go, I was worried about soggy fries but no issue here! The fries were still crunchy and had great texture with tons of steak, melted cheese, quac, and sour cream loaded on top. A Cherry on top was the hint of lime squeezed in. We added a lot of their home made green sauce that was delicious! The tacos were somewhat small but loaded with fresh onion and cilantro. Again paired nicely with the green sauce. The chicken taco was a grilled chicken taco, NOT SHREDDED! Seasoned well and we added cheese to that one. The carnitas taco had great flavor and texture. Some of the best I've had as of late. Support this local store and hope you enjoy it and have the same awesome experience we did!

This place was pretty good. Didn't take too long and came out hot and fresh. I do wish the carne asada fries came with beans but they were pretty good.

15. Gorditas Preparadas

Tried Mr. Delicious for the first time tonight with the family. They were very accommodating when we asked that our food not contain dairy. Everything came out fresh and hot and as my toddler put it, everything was "yum yum!" Make sure to ask for salsa as they keep it behind the counter.

This place is great. Went again last night, Taco salad is probably one best you'll ever have. We always get smoothered Chile verde burritos. Great tasting Chile verde and amazingly huge portion. We've also done just the regular bean and cheese for the kids, which again is huge and yummy. Great little Ma and Pa joint, sometimes it might take a little time to get your order cause there is just one gal cooking, but worth the wait OR if you're in a hurry call in your order. The prices are more than fair because they don't skimp on portions.

Wasn't very happy with my big asada burrito. It fell apart and the guacamole is no bueno unhealthy imitation.

Good food and large portions. The issues I had were little seating and no fountain drinks. But the food was delicious!!!!

Olskool - Ol Skool burrito

Olskool

My husband and I were invited to an exclusive brunch at Ol Skool to introduce their new breakfast…read moreburrito called The G. The event started out with a bang on a Sunday morning with endless mimosas! The guava went quick, but my husband and I were happy with the orange and pineapple mimosas. While enjoying our mimosas, they brought out the appetizer. It was freshly made guacamole topped with a chili crisp, and it included a flight of their sauces. I'm a sucker for a good guacamole...and their guacamole is great! I loved the chili crisp on top (it reminded me of the Foo Fries they had one time). The chips were salted perfectly and had a good crunch to them. The green sauce was so good, and we liked dipping the guac in it to give the guac a little bit of spice. The salsa had great flavor and I saved some for the main course, but ended up taking the salsa home (I'll touch on that later). The main course was their new special called "The G" which consisted of crinkle cut fries, scrambled eggs, basque chorizo, cheese, Inca sauce, onions, and their new Hood sauce all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. I took one glance at that burrito and I knew I was going to love it, and boy was I right! That sauce mixed with the chorizo and crispy fries really took this burrito to a whole new level. Dare I say it's my new favorite? That flavor and the crunch of the fries really made my tastebuds happy....so much so that I didn't want to change a thing by adding the salsa I saved. The side of fries came with a small container of Hood sauce. With each bite, my husband and I could taste a familiar flavor, but we couldn't quite put our finger on it.....and they wouldn't tell us their secret. We understood though because it's good! After a little bit of digesting, they served us some dessert. It was called "Churros Foster" and it consisted of churros, vanilla ice cream, and it was covered with bananas foster. This dessert was to die for! The cinnamon...the vanilla....the banana....I wanted to lick the bowl clean! I wish this was going to be a new addition to the menu, but for now it's not and I understand. I still really enjoy the churros on their dessert menu. Mimosas, delicious food, and good company! This was such a fun experience and we were very grateful to be invited.

I felt like she was the only one there working & it did get pretty busy. But I think she might have been the only one cleaning tables, greeting customers, taking orders, & cashing everyone out. So my review was based only on our experience there at the time we went. We asked initially if we could split the bill before we ordered & she said "yes but it would be split at the end of the meal" so we were like great, we all ordered. It took like 30 minutes to get any kind of water refill, which they finally ended up just bringing us a pitcher of water, which was more ideal especially for our large group. The salsa didn't have much flavor at all, mostly just a tomato-watery taste. No one at our table really ended up eating the chips & salsa. I ordered cheese enchiladas with green sauce. It took a while for everyone to receive their food. My cousin was actually done with his meal before I received my meal. It took an additional 10 minutes for the waitress to bring me & my boyfriend silverware after we received our food. She was busy greeting other tables & taking their orders, which is great. But when you have customers waiting for silverware to eat their food & now their food is just getting cold it seems like that should have been a higher priority & all she had to do was drop it off. It was truly a mess. My boyfriend ordered the Sopes with asada. He didn't love these. Said they just tasted like oily bread with toppings. Everyone was not super satisfied with our service & the food. We waited forever for our check & then finally went & asked. They don't bring the bill to your table, you pay up front. When we went to pay up front & tried to split the bill, she then said she could not split the bill. Such a pain with a large group like that & trying to venmo the correct amounts. I would not recommend this place.
