It was a chicken mole burrito
    Thanks G.

I asked if they could make me a chicken mole burrito and they did. It was pretty damn good mole sauce. I'm in town from Los Angeles and I have pretty high standards for Mexican food and I liked this place. Definitely recommend trying it out. I smashed it before I got a picture in lol

I've been here twice, came back today for a third time. So far everything I've ordered was absolutely delicious. I'm from Los Angeles where some of the best Mexican restaurants reside, I know my stuff. The menudo, empanadas, flautas and everything else I've had has been delicious! Everything was fresh and made to order. Handmade tortillas, delicious salsas I can go on and on. This is quality authentic Mexican food and a must try. 4/5 stars I always come here when I'm In Utah

    Asada Tacos

This place is delicious. The Asada Tacos were very flavorful. They were seasoned well and the meat was juicy, not dry. The Pastor Tacos were quite good. I missed the pieces of pineapple in them though. I really enjoyed the Tostada El Pollo. The chicken was delicious. If you get a chance to try the habanero sauce and the Diablo sauce you will enjoy them a lot if you like spicy sauces. The Diablo sauce is definitely picante. - He Said

Delicious and tasty. Quick on the service and lots of options. The chips and guacamole is one of my favorite items.

Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos are amazing, best around. Tamales are great too! Highly recommend and the green sauce is a must!! Don't miss out on this place!!

    8 tacos stuffed in there!

We showed up for a late lunch on a Monday. They were only taking call in take out orders, so we ordered 8 tacos and sat in the car while they were put together. Tacos were something like $1.75 a piece and while they were very small, they were loaded up! Totally delicious and perfectly prepped. Both salsas were tasty, but neither of them overly impressed us. We definitely plan to go back and try their delicious looking burritos!

Small little hole in the wall but the food was good. Felt like a home cooked meal. The pork quesadilla was good and the burrito was huge.

Excellent food. Salsa verde enchiladas were very flavorful and the plantains made a great dessert at the end of the meal.

Came here for the Mexican pizza looking things. I tried all three meat choices. With a variety of the salsas. Pretty good, I'd come back.

The shell was a lot different from the regular beef tacos that they were serving, and I loved it! Just not your average taco shell! The black beans were very good, and the chips while normally large and warm were broken and warm, not like the ones I remembered like Chili's, which has phenomenal chips! But they serve it with a sauce and a bean sauce, which are really really good, so not mad about it was just craving the better ones! My friends got the ice cream with rolled donuts filled with chocolate sauce, and it was really really good, I got the sopafillas, which had a very good white creamy sauce, not like the ones I've usually had, which I have come to find out ,very from restaurant to restaurant, but we're pretty good. But of course, the reason for the excellent mark is because of Mason, a great waiter, very informative, and we talked about our trips we take, and he was very informative! So they're very many reasons to like a waiter and he was among the best! It's a cool looking restaurant with very nice seats and a great Mexican look of course! It wasn't as busy on a Saturday night as I thought it would be, but the prices are really good for not a luncheon menu, almost forgot about their tortilla soup, which I ordered separate. It was truly one of the best tortilla soups I've had! So it's got a great thing going for it so I hope more people in that area of Layton go a little bit more often! However, I assume with all this government shut down business ,that it's been downright hard for anybody to get the money to do anything!

The portions were big & worth the price. Sadly, however, the ground beef was very greasy & I would not recommend it. The aqua fresca was delicious & refreshing. The event started out with a bang on a Sunday morning with endless mimosas! The guava went quick, but my husband and I were happy with the orange and pineapple mimosas. While enjoying our mimosas, they brought out the appetizer. It was freshly made guacamole topped with a chili crisp, and it included a flight of their sauces. I'm a sucker for a good guacamole...and their guacamole is great! I loved the chili crisp on top (it reminded me of the Foo Fries they had one time). The chips were salted perfectly and had a good crunch to them. The green sauce was so good, and we liked dipping the guac in it to give the guac a little bit of spice. The salsa had great flavor and I saved some for the main course, but ended up taking the salsa home (I'll touch on that later). The main course was their new special called "The G" which consisted of crinkle cut fries, scrambled eggs, basque chorizo, cheese, Inca sauce, onions, and their new Hood sauce all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. I took one glance at that burrito and I knew I was going to love it, and boy was I right! That sauce mixed with the chorizo and crispy fries really took this burrito to a whole new level. Dare I say it's my new favorite? That flavor and the crunch of the fries really made my tastebuds happy....so much so that I didn't want to change a thing by adding the salsa I saved. The side of fries came with a small container of Hood sauce. With each bite, my husband and I could taste a familiar flavor, but we couldn't quite put our finger on it.....and they wouldn't tell us their secret. We understood though because it's good! After a little bit of digesting, they served us some dessert. It was called "Churros Foster" and it consisted of churros, vanilla ice cream, and it was covered with bananas foster. This dessert was to die for! The cinnamon...the vanilla....the banana....I wanted to lick the bowl clean! I wish this was going to be a new addition to the menu, but for now it's not and I understand. I still really enjoy the churros on their dessert menu. Mimosas, delicious food, and good company! This was such a fun experience and we were very grateful to be invited.
