I've been coming here since 1992.. This place has been one of my favorites for years, and for good reason: the food flat-out delivers. The pork tacos are excellent, the buffet is a beautiful exercise in self-control failure, and the three enchilada plate is always a solid choice. Truthfully, it's all really good. What makes it even better is the people. Alex, Javier, and Sadie bring a fun energy that makes the whole place feel alive. Great food is one thing, but when the staff makes the atmosphere this enjoyable, it keeps you coming back. So go hungry, have a beer... or marigita, relax, and enjoy yourself. This place isn't just good - it's the kind of place you keep in your regular rotation for decades. read more

Sign outside lured us in. Said, "$13.99 Buffet with Drink." Turns out that if u watch long enough, it adds ONE PLATE. An obvious deceptive lure since most don't see this (we didnt). Regardless, after 15 minutes we finally got our buffet plates, then another 7min to get food on our plates (can't serve yourself). We were never asked if we wanted the one plate buffet or All-you-can-eat, and assumed the $13.99 price. We all got our bills, and each plate was around $20. The waiter then told us the lower price was for one plate only. In my case I did actually only have one plate and asked if he'd fix my bill. He said, "No. You have to tell me at the beginning." I said, "I was never told any options." He said, "I can't change your bill now." So the outside sign is deceptive, the waiter never clarifies the options when ordering, so both owner & waiter are at fault. No tip! I need more integrity from this restaurant and the waiters. Likely won't come back. Honesty is important to me, and the service timing was very subpar. read more

Service was great, attentive, kind and food delivery of the meals was acceptable. Ordered the table side avocado, but unfortunately the avocado's were not ripe. Our server should not have served this to anyone. Also, the avocados were very small for the price of the dish. Next time I will ask if the avocados are ripe and large in size. The menu states, serves 4, no way if they use 2 small avocados. Price is$10.49. Definitely not worth it! read more

The food never disappoints! This is out go to place Mexican food. The service is always fantastic.

10/10 every time. We hadn't eaten here in years but had them cater a dinner for us a few months back. We had such rave reviews from those in attendance we decided to actually go in and have a sit down meal. That was 6 months ago and we've been regularly eating here each month now. We've never been disappointed by our meals or the service. It's nice to have such a great restaurant in our community for so many years. read more

Me and my dad went for lunch yesterday and it was a great experience. I haven't been here in years, but it still is great. I had the ground beef chimichanga and it was as good as always. My father had the buffet and he really enjoyed it. I will be returning again soon. read more

The food was amazing! Chips & salsa, beef enchiladas, smothered burritos, and margaritas. I would've posted pictures, but we inhaled it as soon as it hit the table. Our server, Daphne was awesome! The ambiance was festive, and typical of a great Mexican restaurant. Definitely worth a try! read more

Took forever to get seated. Waited forever for someone to take our drink order. Ordered table side guacamole and it was the saddest rendition of guacamole I've ever experienced. It's like they never learned of a jalapeño...it didn't get any better after that. The birria tacos were basically pot roast in a corn tortilla. No ancho chile, no guanjillo chiles, no chiles de Arbol touched this meat. The Mexican rice was basically white rice wafted with tomato sauce. The most un-mexican, Mexican restaurant ever... read more

Pedi un burrito y la tortilla estaba fría los frijoles sabían horrible ya echados a perder mi esposo pidió una michelada y preguntaron cómo se hacía ! wow! what exceptional service. it was my husband's birthday and they pulled out all the stops, from the reservation to even allowing us to bring cake and ice cream and keeping it in the freezer for us! the waitress was amazing, could not have been better! My husband and I were craving some authentic Mexican food & we were very pleased to find this place. The servers may not be Mexican but the cooks are definitely serving up some authentic cuisine! We started with some beef taquitos & the complimentary salsa/chips. Both were very exceptional & great. Taquitos were full of flavor and were very big. For drinks we got a spicy margarita with chamoy & tajin. This was very good, wish it was a bit stronger but nonetheless a great cocktail. I ordered the 3 birria tacos & opted out for beans. This was absolutely amazing. Decently sized and packed with full of flavor. 10/10! My husband got a burrito (I'm not sure which exact one) he enjoyed it & was surprised by the size of the burrito. We were both super full and satisfied. Moreover, our waitress was very sweet & attentive to our table. She made us feel comfortable & we enjoyed our experience here! Thanks again :) read more

The BEST "Chile Verde" Burrito platter. Pleasant Mexican style atmosphere and music. The attention to service was most satisfying. I would highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable Mexican dining experience. read more

The taste of the chicken fajitas was marginal. The oil it was cooked in left a bad taste in my mouth and also gave me a stomach ache.

So, I have driven by this establishment many times and said I have to try this place. So, we did! We checked in and the place was very busy. Added our names to the list and Waited. The place is very large with two separate seating areas. Nice decor and a very friendly. After our prescribed wait time we noticed that people who arrived after us were being seated. My wife questioned the front staff and they said oops! That is what happens when you have two different people on the desk not communicating. Well, I ordered a burrito and my wife ordered the chili relieno we were served chips and salsa with our water and we both ordered margaritas. The food was very good although I just couldn't put my finger of the sauce on the burrito, but it was very good. Both dishes came with rice and beans. I will say it was a very good meal. And yes we will return. If you go, just watch the front desk staff but enjoy the great food. read more

Slow, slow service. Worst margaritas I ever had! Server was nice but service was horrible.

We enjoy the environment, the food is always great and the pricing is acceptable but has increased.

Wow! My husband and I just left the restaurant very impressed with their excellent service and delicious authentic Mexican food. I'm Mexican, trust me I know. I had their homemade menudo cooked to perfection and my husband had a carne asada quesadilla deliciously seasoned. All the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Genuinely delicious every time. We absolutely love coming here while we're in town and are sad we forget about it sometimes. We really enjoy the carne asada fries and the burritos. Everyone we've brought here loves it and those who are local go back as well. The service is phenomenal and the management is always very kind to everyone in the restaurant! read more

I'm pretty sure they purchase their burritos from the frozen food section at Walmart. Definitely didn't taste like much better quality. When you order a combo plate, don't anticipate actually receiving the combo. read more

Take this place for what it is. Simple, clean and quick mom & pop Mexican joint. I was in for a quick bite during my lunch hour. In and out in around 30 minutes. Great service and small crowds. We took my father in law out for lunch. He has liked this place for years. I on the other hand was unimpressed. The food is basic American style Mexican food. We ordered table side guacamole. However it wasn't table side at all. Maybe I'm confused, but table side means it is made "table side!" The guacamole had no flavor. It tasted bland, and had no jalapeños even the description said it had jalapeños. For the meal we asked if they would do one each of the tacos for a total of three different tacos. They said no we can't. Huh? So we each ordered a different taco plate and divided them among each other. The tacos were ok. The pastor tacos were too sweet. I guess this is a standard for the location, but as far as Mexican restaurants goes, I'll pass. read more

Great food. Outstanding service by friendly employees. We like the chili verde smothered burrito and chimichanga combination plates. Their buffet is great too. We highly recommend Manuel's El Burrito restaurant. read more

Buffet is not worth it unless you plan to eat yourself into oblivion with the most basic offerings on the menu. Much better off getting one of their specialty dishes. Service was great. Jesus is very friendly and attentive. Ambiance is blah but not a deal breaker. As a Latina, this restaurant is the basic of the basic , but does the job when you're hungry. read more

This review is for their lunch buffet. We sat on the covered patio and enjoyed the Mexican music and decor, including traditional Mexican patio furniture. I loved my experience tonight! I was worried when I first walked in and saw that they were advertising a "Ramen" dish as the special. So, is this Asian or Mexican? Fortunately, we arrived early enough for dinner to be sat right away and I didn't get the opportunity to second guess my decision. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating, and I quickly dismissed the confusing special. They told us that they had a dinner buffet...another quick concern. However, we were comforted by the fact that the buffet food was being served and not just left up to the diners. We all know how scary that can be, right? We were quickly given chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit spicy, but flavorful. Again, the server was very pleasant and accommodating. As with most "first time Mexican food" experiences, I chose the Carnitas plate with corn tortillas. The meat was very flavorful and tender and the "fixins" were perfect. The beans they served with the plate weren't your typical refried beans. They were authentic Mexicano frijoles, what a pleasant surprise and a great addition to the plate. The service was outstanding! And it was a very family friendly. Tremendous experience. I will definitely be back! read more

Love the food !! Mirna is amazing waitress! Sweet pork chimichanga is amazing will be back again

Food is always high quality and done well. Wait staff is sometimes short with customers and wait time can be unnecessary long.

The buffet is good. The temperature of the hot foods could be better. I wish they had their ribs on the buffet they used to have. The servers are always great! There discounts like 7% if you pay cash (don't purchase gift cards cause you can't use them and get the 7% even if you're using partial cash). You also can't use a coupon if you're paying with the gift card because that's considered a coupon? Go figure) I had the option of using a five dollar off coupon or using my $25 gift card. The cashier pointed this out to me and said that the owner told her to post the sign. ‍ Never mind, the "discounts" are too complicated and not available anyway. read more

Stopped by last night for a quick dinner. It has been a couple of years, since we last visited. In past, I recall we enjoyed our meals and found it to be pretty good. Last night, we really had a great experience. Due to Covid, they have modified hours and closed at 8:00pm. We arrived 29 minutes before close and I felt horrible about walking in right before they closed. My wife and I decided we were going to place a to-go order. Before we could do so, we were met with a warm welcome and ushered back to a table. The restaurant was clean and they were meeting the social distancing requirements. Our server was very friendly and prompt. We placed our order and enjoyed their complimentary chips and salsa. Great salsa, BTW. We literally waited no more than 19 minutes and our food was brought out to our table. It was fresh, piping hot and looked great. We teased our server about having to wait so dang long. She was fun and had a huge smile on her face. The meals were spot on. My wife had a shredded beef chimichanga. She said it was really good and she will get it again the next time we stop by. I went with their Super Burrito, minus the ground beef (I don't eat meat) and had it made enchiladas style. It was really good and I would have it again. Not sure what more I can say, other than I would recommend you give them a try. They have been around for over 40 years for a reason and they have absolutely earned my support. read more
