I've been coming here since 1992.. This place has been one of my favorites for years, and for good reason: the food flat-out delivers. The pork tacos are excellent, the buffet is a beautiful exercise in self-control failure, and the three enchilada plate is always a solid choice. Truthfully, it's all really good. What makes it even better is the people. Alex, Javier, and Sadie bring a fun energy that makes the whole place feel alive. Great food is one thing, but when the staff makes the atmosphere this enjoyable, it keeps you coming back. So go hungry, have a beer... or marigita, relax, and enjoy yourself. Me and my dad went for lunch yesterday and it was a great experience. I haven't been here in years, but it still is great. I had the ground beef chimichanga and it was as good as always. My father had the buffet and he really enjoyed it. I will be returning again soon. read more

The food was amazing! Chips & salsa, beef enchiladas, smothered burritos, and margaritas. I would've posted pictures, but we inhaled it as soon as it hit the table. Our server, Daphne was awesome! The taste of the chicken fajitas was marginal. The oil it was cooked in left a bad taste in my mouth and also gave me a stomach ache.

Took forever to get seated. Waited forever for someone to take our drink order. Ordered table side guacamole and it was the saddest rendition of guacamole I've ever experienced. It's like they never learned of a jalapeño...it didn't get any better after that. The birria tacos were basically pot roast in a corn tortilla. So, I have driven by this establishment many times and said I have to try this place. So, we did! We checked in and the place was very busy. Added our names to the list and Waited. The place is very large with two separate seating areas. Nice decor and a very friendly. After our prescribed wait time we noticed that people who arrived after us were being seated. My wife questioned the front staff and they said oops! That is what happens when you have two different people on the desk not communicating. Well, I ordered a burrito and my wife ordered the chili relieno we were served chips and salsa with our water and we both ordered margaritas. The food was very good although I just couldn't put my finger of the sauce on the burrito, but it was very good. Both dishes came with rice and beans. I will say it was a very good meal. And yes we will return. If you go, just watch the front desk staff but enjoy the great food. read more

My husband and I were craving some authentic Mexican food & we were very pleased to find this place. The servers may not be Mexican but the cooks are definitely serving up some authentic cuisine! We started with some beef taquitos & the complimentary salsa/chips. Both were very exceptional & great. Taquitos were full of flavor and were very big. For drinks we got a spicy margarita with chamoy & tajin. This was very good, wish it was a bit stronger but nonetheless a great cocktail. I ordered the 3 birria tacos & opted out for beans. This was absolutely amazing. Decently sized and packed with full of flavor. 10/10! My husband got a burrito (I'm not sure which exact one) he enjoyed it & was surprised by the size of the burrito. Wow! My husband and I just left the restaurant very impressed with their excellent service and delicious authentic Mexican food. I'm Mexican, trust me I know. I had their homemade menudo cooked to perfection and my husband had a carne asada quesadilla deliciously seasoned. All the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Buffet is not worth it unless you plan to eat yourself into oblivion with the most basic offerings on the menu. Much better off getting one of their specialty dishes. Service was great. Take this place for what it is. Simple, clean and quick mom & pop Mexican joint. I was in for a quick bite during my lunch hour. In and out in around 30 minutes. Great service and small crowds. We took my father in law out for lunch. He has liked this place for years. I on the other hand was unimpressed. The food is basic American style Mexican food. We ordered table side guacamole. However it wasn't table side at all. Maybe I'm confused, but table side means it is made "table side!" The guacamole had no flavor. It tasted bland, and had no jalapeños even the description said it had jalapeños. For the meal we asked if they would do one each of the tacos for a total of three different tacos. They said no we can't. Huh? So we each ordered a different taco plate and divided them among each other. The tacos were ok. The pastor tacos were too sweet. I guess this is a standard for the location, but as far as Mexican restaurants goes, I'll pass. read more

I loved my experience tonight! I was worried when I first walked in and saw that they were advertising a "Ramen" dish as the special. So, is this Asian or Mexican? Fortunately, we arrived early enough for dinner to be sat right away and I didn't get the opportunity to second guess my decision. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating, and I quickly dismissed the confusing special. They told us that they had a dinner buffet...another quick concern. However, we were comforted by the fact that the buffet food was being served and not just left up to the diners. We all know how scary that can be, right? We were quickly given chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit spicy, but flavorful. Again, the server was very pleasant and accommodating. As with most "first time Mexican food" experiences, I chose the Carnitas plate with corn tortillas. The meat was very flavorful and tender and the "fixins" were perfect. The beans they served with the plate weren't your typical refried beans. They were authentic Mexicano frijoles, what a pleasant surprise and a great addition to the plate. The service was outstanding! And it was a very family friendly. Tremendous experience. I've been going to this restraunt since it opened. My husband had the buffet and you get 1 large plate and 1 small. When we went to leave my husband had 1/2 a burrito and a taco so I put it in my salad left over box. When we went to pay rge waitress charged us 9.99 extra for a buffet to go. So we paid 9.99 extra for 1/2 a burrito and a taco. If your going to run your business this way I'll find somewhere else to eat. read more

The buffet is good. The temperature of the hot foods could be better. I wish they had their ribs on the buffet they used to have. The servers are always great! There discounts like 7% if you pay cash (don't purchase gift cards cause you can't use them and get the 7% even if you're using partial cash). You also can't use a coupon if you're paying with the gift card because that's considered a coupon? Go figure) I had the option of using a five dollar off coupon or using my $25 gift card. Stopped by last night for a quick dinner. It has been a couple of years, since we last visited. In past, I recall we enjoyed our meals and found it to be pretty good. Last night, we really had a great experience. Due to Covid, they have modified hours and closed at 8:00pm. We arrived 29 minutes before close and I felt horrible about walking in right before they closed. My wife and I decided we were going to place a to-go order. Before we could do so, we were met with a warm welcome and ushered back to a table. The restaurant was clean and they were meeting the social distancing requirements. Our server was very friendly and prompt. We placed our order and enjoyed their complimentary chips and salsa. Great salsa, BTW. We literally waited no more than 19 minutes and our food was brought out to our table. It was fresh, piping hot and looked great. We teased our server about having to wait so dang long. She was fun and had a huge smile on her face. The meals were spot on. My wife had a shredded beef chimichanga. She said it was really good and she will get it again the next time we stop by. I went with their Super Burrito, minus the ground beef (I don't eat meat) and had it made enchiladas style. It was really good and I would have it again. Not sure what more I can say, other than I would recommend you give them a try. They have been around for over 40 years for a reason and they have absolutely earned my support. read more
