    Sauce Bar.
    Anthony K.

Located right on the main strip of Riverdale. Atmosphere is like any other fast food with plenty of seating. parking is easy. Food is always good. Service is fast. Probably the best chicken I have had...best part is their sauce bar. Plenty of choices.

Buffalo chicken sandwich and a side of rosemary fries

We've eaten at Super Chix down south years ago and decided to give the new location in Riverdale a try. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and the staff at the register with nice. We ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, a grilled blackened chicken sandwich, and a side of rosemary fries. Our food took about 10 minutes to prepare. My husband devoured his sandwich so I can only assume he enjoyed it. I took my time and initial thoughts on the grilled sandwich: - really soft bun - lettuce is fresh and not wilted - super thin slice of chicken - you can taste the "blackened seasoning" but not so much the aioli - loads of fries and they're great I can see this becoming a regular dinner location on our eating out roster.

Asian chicken salad.. Quite a bit too eat

It was fine, just fine. Service was very friendly, and happy to explain the menu. While being fairly full, it wasn't too loud. Food was ok. Really liked having the choice of breaded it grilled chicken. My salad was quite a bit too eat. My wife said her sandwich was light on the chicken. Better than the many other chicken places? Maybe if you want grilled chicken.

Clumps of seasoning on cold fries.

Showed up around 9:35 pm at the riverdale location. Figured it was close to their closing time of 10 but being a fast food joint we could respectfully eat well before 10 pm. Our food took 20 minutes to come out. All fries on everyone's meal were cold and almost stale. The seasoning we paid extra for was all on the tray not even on the fries. It's like we got the last of the days food it was not fresh at all. The crew were disrespectfully loud closing 5 minutes into us getting our food slapping the metal chairs down so loud she dropped a few too. My husband just popped up and boxed all our food. Guess we'll try to reheat these fries and make them worth the calories. Don't think I'll be back any time soon. I understand wanting to close on time but there are respectful ways to drive toward that goal without literally driving away business. FYI we have been regular customers since the grand opening and have spoken highly of this place -we know what the quality SHOULD be... this kind of service is just unacceptable.

Nashville hot chicken sammy, 3 fresh fried tendys and salted fresh hand-cut fries

Super Chix.. what can a guy say bad about this place? Nothing. The exterior and interior was aesthetically pleasing and draws you in. Inside the restaurant was clean with industrial vibes and well maintained. This place has alot of options but not over done to where oftentimes places lose sight and quality. You get the grilled option with all sandwiches and tendys. Fresh, hand-cut fries had multiple options for seasoning. The chicken was breaded perfectly and was hot and juicy. The tenders were perfectly cooked and not rubbery like you get at other places. The sauce options were plentiful and easily accessible for the customer to fill their own cups at the sauce bar, which I loved. As stated above, no complaints on my end and I will happily return back!

Grilled Bacavo Ranch Chicken Sandwich, and too many sauces to try

I guess we didn't *SAUCE RESPONSIBLY* our first time here, because we tried them all. But this has to be our *new* favorite chicken sandwich restaurant. Both the Grilled Bacavo Ranch and the Fried Chicken Slider sandwich's were really good. *Surprisingly good !!* (So good in fact - we think the other chicken sandwich restaurants might be in trouble.) We also ordered the Dutch Chocolate Custard, it's quite rich, but good in smaller doses - We shared it. We really liked our food, and it'll definitely be a regular in our lineup.

It was impressive to see everyone pause and take a moment to honor our country. The atmosphere was patriotic, welcoming, and had a real sense of community. The food was outstanding. I had the jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, and banana pudding--and every bit of it was delicious. As a bonus, they even had Big Red in a glass bottle, which brought back some great memories. Good food, great people, and a place that still honors patriotism and service. I'll definitely be going back. Well done, Mission BBQ.

I have several smokers in my backyard and have catered different parties both for work and for neighbors. I'm fairly picky when it comes to BBQ especially with the prices you pay for it these days. If you're going to charge me $30 for a plate of bbq, it better knock my socks off. I went to a Mission BBQ in Nashville when I was there for training. It was so good, I was shocked when I learned it was a chain restaurant. When I think of chain bbq places I think of Dickies which my phone just auto corrected to Sickies and I almost left it . This place and Dickies are worlds apart. mission has real, good., quality BBQ. Good Texas brisket, the sausage was great. Turkey was a bit dry but I wasn't mad at it, it was still good. I also don't like green beans and as you can see from the pic I get the green beans. That's saying something if you knew me. The service was extremely friendly. Honestly it reminded me of Texas bbq spots. Where it's about the food, but it's just as much about the people. Just good people getting together, enjoying yummy food and each others company. I don't know if this is an every day thing but I had recommended my parents go here when they were in the area. They said a server brought out a free dessert to them that my dad still raves about. When I was there a server tried to give us a huge plate of fries but we had all just finished eating and had to politely decline the offer as we were all stuffed. He walked around and found another table to gift it to. So I don't know if this always happens but the two times I know of they were just giving stuff out, pretty cool. We spoke with a couple of employees and a manager, everyone was super friendly, can't say enough good. Inside is pretty typical BBQ joint. They had a six pack of bbq sauces on the table. As much as I like just eating the meat so you can taste the meat and smoke, I also love me a good bbq sauce. They had a couple that were pretty yummy. You absolutely have to get the cheesy potatoes. I crave them more often than I'd like to admit. It's. A good thing I don't live closer to this spot cause it would be a problem. I'd stop in just for a side of the potatoes. I'll definitely make the hour drive to come back. It's worth it. I've been to most of the BBQ spots in Utah, this one is definitely up there for me among the top. Bam Bams and Pats have been my favorite spots for years. This might take the #1 spot for me though.

This time, I ordered the deluxe vegetarian on sourdough and my husband went with the turkey avocado also on sourdough. Both were fresh, flavorful and hit the spot. And of course, we can't leave without indulging in their cookies. The sugar cookie, mint chocolate brownie and chocolate chip are forever staples for us. My only complaint? Keeping with a couple criteria, an untried venue, check! Food, (most importantly) check! and nearby, check! We decided to throw on some foot covers and head out the door. A quick jaunt and we'd arrived. Super easy to find even though it isn't street facing. Expecting it to be bustling with NYE recovery folks, we were surprised to find a quiet establishment that had two other patrons. Quickly I grabbed up a menu and we were immediately greeted with a friendly "Good Morning" from a very energetic and enjoyable young man. We sat and perused the menu. Talking over what we wanted vs what we should have. It took less time to make our decision for our order than most food stops in our past. I ordered the Mortician with Pepper Jack instead of the American Cheese it was paired with. Our order taker guy, (also the energetic greeter) inquired if I wanted to make it a double. I answered to the affirmative, (with a sheepish smile on my face). My wife conservatively ordered the Thursday Special, consisting of the Morty's Iconic Cheeseburger and fries. After paying and sitting down, our once greeter/order taker now waiter guy appeared with a large bottle of pour-it-yourself Fry Sauce and a handful of napkins. I looked over the sauce and quickly realized I hadn't ordered the Onion Rings that I wanted to try. I quickly mentioned to our greeter/order taker/waiter guy before he disappeared behind the kitchen doors that I needed the onion rings. With a smile and a thumbs up he said, I gotchu. I asked if there was a separate charge and stood up to pay. He quickly interrupted my advancement with an outstretched hand and a more pronounced, I Got You. This, of course was not my intention to get free stuffs but I was pleased just the same. My wife quickly grabbed some loose cash from her purse and added it to their tip jar. Thanks Babe! Once again you show me one of the many reasons for my affection toward you! We sat and did some chit-chat, continuing conversations from earlier that day. Sooner than expected, our food shows up, piled high and filling the plates with our side orders, (see photos). I literally had to take off the onion rings that were part of the sandwich makeup to even consider the possibility of moving the Mortician into my mouth, (TWSS! ...if you know, you know). Im finding this experience difficult to put into words. So, I'll sum it up. Delicious and juicy and fantastic! For once, outside of a homegrown burger, I'm able to enjoy the separate flavorings of Bacon, Beef, (which I think is marinated), the jalapeño and the pastrami as well as the aioli. After a quick drink to cleanse my palette, I grabbed up an Onion Ring. I paused to reflect on my existence and quietly muttered, this is really good! Crispy beyond any previous onion ring order from any of the, what could be hundreds of orders of rings during my 59 years, and delicious. I savored every bite, licked my fingers, and made happy "mmm mmm" sounds as I partook of this fine deliciousness. We finished everything! Talked about how this particular Morty's has now been labeled a family staple. Our experience is not just made up from the delicious food, friendly atmosphere, free onion rings, and did I mention the delicious food?, no. It's all of these as a whole, bigger experience, making it a unique and favorite beginning to a new year. Thanks to you, Morty's and our favorite greeter/order taker/waiter/I gotchu guy, we both are still smiling from our visit. Thank you for the excellent experience. We are looking forward to our next visit!
