The food here was fine. I liked the fries although not super crispy, and the chicken tenders. The batter isn't incredibly flavorful but the chicken is moist. I tried a few sauces, and my favorite was the Korean bbq. The classic sauce was underwhelming, kind of like regular chik fil a sauce, which I also don't love. The Korean sauce had some nice spice. We've eaten at Super Chix down south years ago and decided to give the new location in Riverdale a try. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and the staff at the register with nice. We ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, a grilled blackened chicken sandwich, and a side of rosemary fries. Our food took about 10 minutes to prepare. My husband devoured his sandwich so I can only assume he enjoyed it. I took my time and initial thoughts on the grilled sandwich: - really soft bun - lettuce is fresh and not wilted - super thin slice of chicken - you can taste the "blackened seasoning" but not so much the aioli - loads of fries and they're great I can see this becoming a regular dinner location on our eating out roster. read more

Showed up around 9:35 pm at the riverdale location. Figured it was close to their closing time of 10 but being a fast food joint we could respectfully eat well before 10 pm. Our food took 20 minutes to come out. All fries on everyone's meal were cold and almost stale. The seasoning we paid extra for was all on the tray not even on the fries. It's like we got the last of the days food it was not fresh at all. The crew were disrespectfully loud closing 5 minutes into us getting our food slapping the metal chairs down so loud she dropped a few too. My husband just popped up and boxed all our food. Guess we'll try to reheat these fries and make them worth the calories. Don't think I'll be back any time soon. I understand wanting to close on time but there are respectful ways to drive toward that goal without literally driving away business. Inside the restaurant was clean with industrial vibes and well maintained. This place has alot of options but not over done to where oftentimes places lose sight and quality. You get the grilled option with all sandwiches and tendys. Fresh, hand-cut fries had multiple options for seasoning. The chicken was breaded perfectly and was hot and juicy. The tenders were perfectly cooked and not rubbery like you get at other places. The sauce options were plentiful and easily accessible for the customer to fill their own cups at the sauce bar, which I loved. The Bacavo Ranch sandwich with added Cajun rub is ridiculously good!! They have a ton of different sauces, so if you don't like your sandwich, it's probably your fault. I also love the Cajun fries, Rosemary fries, and the custards. I've tried 5-6 flavors and loved them all. My kids love eating here, too. The kids meals come with a decent sized entree, fries, a drink & a custard. Pretty epic!! read more

Large portions of really good Hawaiian style food. We stopped by on a Friday early evening so there were just a few other customers. The staff was helpful is getting us up to speed on the menu and making recommendations. We ordered 'Ekolu plates, which were generously filled with our choice of 3 meats plus rice and potato salad. Easily enough to split between two people. Teriyaki chicken and steak were awesome. We found the Kalua pig was pretty salty, but with the barbecue sauce, still delicious. I really wanted to love this place but it fell flat. The place was extremely busy but we were still able to find a seat. We ordered with the cashier who was very nice. I was debating between the Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich or the salad version. I went with the salad. My husband ordered the avocado bacon chicken sandwich. We also ordered one regular side of Cajun fries and one soda. Our total was $32.17 for both of us. The food came out surprisingly fast and looked good! Once we saw all the sauces, we had wished we would have gotten regular tenders so we could try the sauces. Maybe that's their claim to fame? Here's my take one everything... Drinks come in a plastic cup which is awesome. I'm convinced soda tastes better in a clear plastic cup. Fries were good. Nice and crispy. Nothing too special though. I don't feel like the Cajun spice gave them anything special, though. I did like that they were skinny. I like skinny fries. The fry sauce was ok. Seemed a little more ketchupy than normal but still ok. We got some ranch for the fries as well. The ranch was clearly from a bottle. Not homemade like they claim. All the sauces claim to be homemade but if you look through the window of the back door, you can see all the big bottles of sauce lined up on the shelf. Maybe they use these as a base and doctor them up but they didn't taste like anything other than bottled sauce. The Buffalo chicken salad looked good when but it for sure was the biggest disappointment of the meal. Huge chucks of white lettuce, no cheese or anything. It was lettuce, a few tomatoes, a few small peppers (which there would have been more of these), the Buffalo chicken and ranch. It was the same ranch used on the sauce bar. Nothing great. The Buffalo sauce was the biggest downfall of his salad. So vinegary! I'm almost positive it was like the rest of the sauces, from a jar. The salad was full of the big white chunks of lettuce. I picked through it and took those out. Maybe they should try a different type of lettuce? Hard to eat. Husband liked his sandwich ok. Wasn't bad. Wasn't great. Everything on the sandwich was fresh and colorful, though. Would we go back. Probably not. I am curious how their basic chicken strips are but the sauce situation and the price makes me not sure I want to go back. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing but we weren't impressed. Thrilled to find somewhere open for dinner on a Sunday- Thank you super chix!! My mother and her husband love this place, so I was excited to stop in. I got the fried pickles which were very tasty, but a bit soggy and cold- would have been much better if they were fresh from the fryer! I also had their special sandwich with the hot honey. I love the sauce enthusiasm, because more sauce is ALMOST always better, but the sauce was sooo rich and sweet that I had to slide some off. I tried the tenders which are the step-dads go to, and they were just ok. They did not rock my world. I appreciate the variety of sauces they offer, but the ranch was really the only one I enjoyed. The Oreo mint shake they offer was good, but again nothing too exciting. For an average quick meal on a Sunday it's an ok option. Just don't set your expectations too high read more

My Wife got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and it was a bit much and kind of sloppy but that's what I figured with them just dipping the chicken patty in the sauce. I got a small thing of fries, but when I looked in the bag, it's like the person that was filling the bag, just scooped a big bucket of fries and dumped it in the bag all over the place. But they splay the breast out or something for the sandwich so it's thin and dry. Prefer just a tender between the bread. The tenders are probably the way to go. A little more moist. Great selection of sauces at their sauce bar. Who doesn't love a good sauce bar? Salad was ok. Not a lot going on. Just some lettuce and chicken mostly, not a lot of toppings. But again, good sauces. Cheese fries were great. I personally always enjoy shoelace fries, so if that's your thing you'll like them. Soft serve was icy, not very soft. Stopped by here around 1:00 with my neighbor. Heard so much about the place we decided to give it a try. It was packed!! Line moved fairly quickly and seats opened up for us to sit. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich grilled. Lettuce was a bit wilted but all in all sandwich was pretty good. My neighbor ordered the breaded cordon blue chicken sandwich with French fries. I got the avacado stuffed sandwich, it came out with just the avacado which was weird but they gave me the bun to make the sandwich that is listed. It was absolutely delicious. I would eat it again and again. Top notch! The fries were good! Nothing to rave about but crisp and well seasoned. And the custard was decent. Not super vanilla forward but very creamy!
