It was good. It was fast. It wasn't transcendent. And for the price, I was underwhelmed. As previous reviews stated, it's subway Greek style and that is accurate. The chicken was well prepared and the gyro as a whole was good but for $20 with a bag of chips and a drink- not for me. My main issues were the black olives and what tasted like low fat Feta crumbles. My comparison for any gyro is Yannis in salt lake. And this one didn't come close. What would help is better quality Feta and more of it and get some Greek Olives!!! read more

My go-to lunch spot! Healthy and good in every way. I work less than 5 minutes away and regularly use this as my lunch pick-of-choice whether it's just a lunch with an employee or to take out a visitor that's coming to town to work from our site. You can get whatever kind of Pita or bowl you want and know that it will be hot, fresh, and delicious. They have premade combinations you can modify or build-your-own options, so if you don't walk away from this Pita Pit loving your lunch, you just didn't get the right stuff on your pita. My go-to's are build your own chicken breast, but am also a fan of the super Greek, the Philly, and the bowls are also very good. Pro-tip: don't miss the cookies! Staff is always super welcoming and nice. It's also usually not to busy. A great environment for a nice quick lunch. read more

I love Pita Pit, but this location isn't the best. We were the only customers there and it took FOREVER! The workers were also really hard to understand and only spoke limited English. It made the ordering process fairly frustrating. Aside from the very slow service, I enjoyed the food and love the ability to customize everything. Stopped by Pita Pit in Ogden for lunch today. I had the Super Greek pita and the wife had the Ceasar. Both were really good. The Super Greek has a tasty chicken with tzatziki sauce and feta wrapped in a really nice pita, your choice of wheat or white. The Ceasar also had chicken with a great Ceasar dressing and typical fillings. Service was quick and friendly. I wish we had tried this place sooner. Some decent healthy options including salads and bowls. Dine in is open and Coke products are served. read more

Not very consistent in their sandwiches. I ordered a small pita yesterday and it was pretty small for its size. I ordered a couple of large pitas for my mom and I today and they are the exact same size as the small pitas. When I asked the worker how this came to be, she didn't give a decent answer or remedy the situation. When she started putting lettuce in the container, I thought it was a joke, not even a handful could fit in that tiny thing! Love Pita Pit- clean restaurant, always fresh ingredients, less expensive then the dirty Subway down the street. I do wish they had other choices for sides besides a bag of chips, bit the Pitas themselves and a soda are usually enough to fill me up. I generally get the falafel, and add all the toppings. So. Good. I love fresh food, and this place has everything that you could imagine to put on a pita. I would take it over subway any day of the week. Plus, on saturdays, all Pitas are $4.99 from 8-11, what a good deal! If you go, I recommend the Ceasar pita, or the California club, they also have breakfast Pitas too. The one thing that messes up the vibe is the giant murals of creepy Pitas and vegetables on the walls with eyes, and the space feels a little odd. read more

Bright, welcoming, nice staff, clean and comfortable. I have been twice. First had the black bean and the second time I had the cheese steak. Both of the pitas I had were very tasty and filling. I was pleased with both visits. It has been compared to Subway in the other reviews. They both do have similar veggies and condiments, but this place has a few nice additions including some fruit toppings. There is an excellent choice of pitas on the menu. I like the variety. You have a choice of white or wheat pitas. I chose the wheat. A lot of times a wheat pita doesn't hold together as well as a white one, but this one was tasty and did its job right to the last bite. ThIs place was absolutely terrible!! I was excited to try this place because they have a nutrition calculator on their website. I'm currently on the keto diet so it's important for me to know exactly what I'm putting in my body. After looking over the nutrition information I was super pleased to see that you could order any of the pita options and make them into a salad to get rid of those unwanted carbs so I was stoked. I went in today and the service was quick but not very friendly. I ordered a "bigger" salad and got double protein. Let me start by saying the bigger salad is by no means big and it's a good thing I ordered double protein or there wouldn't have been hardly any meat at all. I even asked the girl who took my order after I saw the size of the container they were making it in If she told the cook it was a bigger salad and she said yes. The size was like a 2X6 rectangle container. I would classify it as not much larger than a side salad and I paid $11 for it. The taste of the buffalo chicken was horrible. It definitely didn't have a buffalo taste it was more sweet. I got jalapeño ranch for the dressing and it was also horrible. When I got to work to eat I was putting salt & pepper, hot sauce and basically anything I could find here to cover up the terrible taste and try to eat it so I didn't waste my $11. The pita-pit is about the closest thing I've found to tasting like an authentic pita from Greece. I lived there for a year about 15 years ago and forever quest to find a USA equivilent. The food here is wonderful. They have lots of vegetarian/vegan options, and the meat pitas are wonderful. Service is always friendly. My only complaint is their location. Unless you come in the back way, you've got a dangerous left turn to get into their parking lot and traffic frequently backs up due to trains. read more
