Gone down hill lots of things that are on the menu are no longer available. They say those items are to hard to make. Oh well time to find a new place. read more

This place used to be amazing. I've been going here since I was. A kid 20 plus yrs quality has went down. Portion sizes went down. Prices went up I get the prices went up everywhere has it's the economy tzatziki sauce taste different used to be delicious. It's just mediocre now. I got leftover pieces of fries that were old and maybe four or five little pieces of meat. I did the gyro plate. And a gyro sandwich there was way more bread than meat tomatoes onions or tzatziki mainly just a big piece of bread, not stuffed and flavorful like before! read more

So so good! All the food was so fresh, the service was fast, and staff was so friendly. Ive gone back several times. Loved their service and would highly recommend this place. read more

This place used to be good but they raised their prices way to high and cut the portions I will not support businesses that do this I got the gyro plate they used to load it up and this time they only put like 3 and a half pieces of gyro meat on it, I was pissed! read more

Greek Garden - Gyro plate, not much of one.... - Greek Near Me - Ogden, Utah

Who knew a mall food court could have great food! Whatever this magical yellow seasoning is was delicious and like a salty lemon across my fries. I went with a simple gyro wrap and it was great. The tomatoes were fresh and they didn't skim on onions or tzatziki sauce. The employees were awesome and very friendly and my order was ready in no time. This is certainly not the average food court gyro. I did take mine to-go though because I didn't want to eat dinner in a dumpy old mall but that won't stop me from popping in again. read more

The food is always fantastic, the service is fast, and the ambiance is surprisingly cozy for such an old mall. Although the weekend staff if a little cold, they're very busy and I don't blame them. read more

The food is definitely one of the best Greek restaurants I've ever eaten at! Everything I have had is delicious!!! And the service is awesome!!! The owners and staff are so friendly!!!! read more

The gyro slapped and was cheap too. The place does not look like much, but I was genuinely surprised / impressed by the quality and flavor of that gyro. I got feta for an extra $2, though I would recommend getting just the gyro for maximum cost efficiency. read more

The Greek Garden never disappoints. This little gem, inside of the mall (yes... the Food Court), has been in business for over 30 years. The portions are huge, the food is always served hot and fresh and flavors are spot on. My wife always gets the Chicken Slovakia plate and I am always a guaranteed Gyro plate guy. We never leave disappointed and hope you give them a shot. Trust me.... The mall is on its last leg, but this establishment is hanging in there and worth a visit. read more

The place was almost empty at 4pm with only one customer eating at the table. It's very clean, price is reasonable and drinks are refillable. They give a large amount of food to satisfy almost anyone and were very good. The staff were very friendly and would definitely go back. read more

I see how it is Ogdenites, keeping your best Greek food a secret and hiding it where no one would think to look! I've seen reviews for Greek Garden so many times on Yelp and since I was in the area I decided to give it a try. It's located inside Newgate Mall and I know what you're thinking - as a general rule mall food courts don't have the best selection, but wow was I blown away by this! I got their chicken souvlaki plate. The chicken is tender and flavorful, the rice is lemony, the pita is soft and yummy and the Greek dressing for the salad is my favorite I've ever had. This is definitely the best Greek food I've had in Utah and I'm for sure going to go back often to try more menu items! read more

I visited Greek Garden for the first time and I must say it's so good!! I ordered the single chicken souvlaki plate and everything was so tasty and savory. Yum! I will be back! read more

Stopped here for lunch before going to the movies. I'm not real familiar with Greek food. Only had it twice. This place seems to draw the people. Ordered a chicken gyro sandwich. Very good! Not sure it's worth $9.82 but realize everything is costly today. Would I order it again? Yes! read more

You wouldn't expect such a great review from a restaurant in the food court but, their food was delicious! They provided excellent service and informed us they will opening a second location soon. You don't go here for the ambiance as it's in the food court but again, the food was outstanding. read more

Always great, BERY consistent quality. The best bang for your buck at Newgate Mall fast food court!

This place impressed. Extremely tasty gyro plate #5 and huge portion for $9.49. The Newgate mall food court is very underwhelming so it wasn't hard to choose this spot. It was busy, with a line that went quickly. I'd come back to the Newgate mall if I want Greek food in the future, to go to Greek Garden! read more

Greek Garden - Gyro plate #5 - pick with rice or fries - Greek Near Me - Ogden, Utah

This place is a staple in our diet and has been described by my husband as the best and only place in Utah to go for the gyro. I haven't eaten here as much as he has, but I like to get the spinach pie and they have good greek lemon rice. They put some kind of salty paprika on top of the rice that makes the whole flavor profile work. The family-run business is consistent and they usually remember my husband when he comes in and they make sure he gets a drink with his meal. I've tried the baklava and it's super sweet but still good. read more

In my opinion, this is the best place in Ogden for Greek food. Yes, even better than the University Broiler. And this is the best spot for food in the mall. I will say that the fact it's in the mall is a bit of a drawback for me because I don't go to the mall all that often, and I would never go just for food. So I'm not here as often as I would like. But I just don't really feel like that's something that warrants a lower rating. My favorite thing here is the gyro plate with fries. The lamb is tender, and perfectly seasoned. I try to remember to ask for extra tzatziki for my fries. And I love their lemony salad dressing. Their souvlaki is delicious, too. The service is great, too. read more

So yes. This is in a mall's food court. It's really good though. Don't let the food court location put you off of visiting this place. I had the chicken gyro sandwich, which I definitely would order again. The only criticism I have is that the woman gave me only 1 napkin. I created at least a 2 napkin mess . read more

My wife heard about this mall location and wanted to try it and she loved it. So this trip I decided to give it a try and I'd say it is the best restaurant at the newgate mall. The wait time was pretty long but the food is made fresh and you get a lot of it. We ordered the double souvlaki and shared it. We each got 1/2 the salad, 1/2 cup of rice each, 2pieces of flat bread, and a skewer of chicken each. They also have the best deals on drinks at the mall. We order the large and it was fairy cheap. The chicken was very tender and was seasoned to perfection, the salad was just ok. I was not a big fan of the salad dressing, it did not have a good flavor. The pita bread was soft and warm and so delicious. The rice had just enough lemon in it and was also very good. Definitely give this greek place a try if you are at the mall, you won't regret it. I think it is the best option at tge newgate mall. It Iooks to be run by a greek family so you know you are getting authentic food. The prices were good as well. read more

I'm pretty sure this place has been here forever. Like, they built the mall around it. And when a restaurant has staying power in a mall, that says something. The wife loves the Gyro. The lamb is always cooked perfectly, the toppings are just right to not overpower the lamb, and add some TASDAFSDFA sauce (I don't know how to spell Tzatziki) on a soft Pita and you have some great grub. Personally, I like the kabobs. The chicken and steak are my favorite but the lamb comes in a close third. Add to it a salad with house dressing, some awesome lemon rice, and some of that good Pita we were talking about and you have an A+ meal. Oh, and don't forget to put some of the TAZDGASA sauce on that rice, too. Not sure why but it's a little bit of heaven. The owners are good people and always there. Super nice and make great food. Food so great it can withstand the mall. read more

If there such a thing as five star mall food, then you'll find it here. I started eating here in the '90s, and the same family still owns, and runs, it today. The gyro is always as wonderful as I remember it. There's no pre-made, uniform sliced lamb here. It's thick and tasty, just the right amount of greasy, cooked to order, and smothered with a deliciously tangy tzatziki. It's the gyro against which I compare all others, restaurants included. Have a side of the awesome rice, and your day will be complete (I have no idea what's in it except the lemon pepper--saffron maybe? Though that seems a bit much even for this place). I've never eaten anything else here because I love it too much. And I'll keep on eating it whenever I'm back. read more

Greek Garden - Best gyro in the whole country! - Greek Near Me - Ogden, Utah

I ordered 2 gyros, one with fries and one with onion rings. When I got my order, I only received one gyro with fries and a side of rings. When I said that I had ordered 2 gyros, the guy behind the counter told me that's not what I ordered. I'm pretty sure I know what I ordered more than some misogynistic egomaniac behind the counter. Then, instead of a simple I'm sorry, he had to argue about it and TELL me what I wanted. I was more than happy to pay for the second one until he INSISTED he knew what I wanted more than I did. How is it that because he misunderstood what I said, it's my fault??? Absolute terrible customer service! AND it isn't even great Greek food...much, much better to be had in Ogden!!! read more

Wow is this place good. You would never think food from a small place in the mall can have such rich and refined taste. This is definitely the most authentic and true greek food I have had in the whole state of Utah (Ikr mall food!) Compared to other greek places around (all which I strongly dislike), you can tell these people know what greek food is. I have been to Greece multiple times and this is as close as it gets. I am really happy I found this place, will be coming here regularly. read more

not sure if the covid effected this businesses overall ability to make a Gyro sandwich, but the meat was so dry and crunchy and tasted like an over cooked this shaved burger patty. Soda refills not available and load your 1st cup w so much ice you dont get much. asked if they could just give a 2nd drink and no... but they can give you water in the same cup, lid, & straw. guess soda for a 16 oz cup w 8 oz of ice is the key to profitability. baklava was okay. won't be back. read more

Guilty pleasure? Nah, no guilty feelings about this place. Yes, it's in a mall, but man these guys can cook a mean chicken souvlaki, lamb gyro, lemon rice and their pita. All of it is fantastic. It's probably my favorite spot in all of Ogden if I want something delicious and I'm not going to feel terrible after eating it. Recommend getting the number one or the gyro sandwich meal with rice. read more

Truly the best Greek food around Ogden!! Would recommend to ANYONE!!! delish food and super nice individuals running the place!!!

Greek Garden is super bomb super-fast Greek food at the food court in the Newgate Mall. I love their gyro plate! It's a plate loaded with lots of yummy gyro meat some pita a salad and your choice of lemon rice or fries. Both side choices are good but I opt for the fries they are sprinkled with Greek gardens secret seasoning mmmmm good, then the whole mess is doused with a heaping spoonful of tzatziki sauce. I would like some bigger portions of pita on the plate and I'm not a big mall shopper, these are the only cons as far as I'm concerned. read more

Absolutely fabulous food! The chicken and rice and pitas bread are phenomenal. The owners are lovely too.

I got charged $3,200 for my $30 bill. They said they refunded it and just charged me the $30. I get all the way to Salt Lake and I see that I have a $70 pending purchase from there. I called and they did not believe me. I had to drive all the way back up there. They denied over charging it, but I finally got them to "refund" it but they lied they still charged me $70. I will never go here again!!! read more

Not bad for mall food. I got the gyro plate and everything was hot and tasted good. Service was pretty fast too.

I've been eating the gyros at Greek Garden for more than 20 years (and if I ever walk into that food court to find them gone...I will probably break down in hysterical tears!) and can honestly say that they are the best I've ever had. I've made it a personal goal to try gyros whenever I travel and have never tasted any quite as good. How they haven't won best of state and every other award they could be up for, is beyond me! Both the meat and tzatziki sauce are both so full of flavor, there just is no comparison!!! read more

The only word I have for this establishment is GROSS!!! Give this place a definite hard pass. The souvlaki didn't even resemble meat-it was more on the roadkill type of food and looked like it was three days old. Fresh wasn't anywhere near this restaurant's definition. Do yourself--and your gut--a favor by staying away. read more
