This place used to be amazing. I've been going here since I was. A kid 20 plus yrs quality has went down. Portion sizes went down. Prices went up I get the prices went up everywhere has it's the economy tzatziki sauce taste different used to be delicious. It's just mediocre now. I got leftover pieces of fries that were old and maybe four or five little pieces of meat. I did the gyro plate. And a gyro sandwich there was way more bread than meat tomatoes onions or tzatziki mainly just a big piece of bread, not stuffed and flavorful like before! read more

Who knew a mall food court could have great food! Whatever this magical yellow seasoning is was delicious and like a salty lemon across my fries. I went with a simple gyro wrap and it was great. The tomatoes were fresh and they didn't skim on onions or tzatziki sauce. The employees were awesome and very friendly and my order was ready in no time. This is certainly not the average food court gyro. I did take mine to-go though because I didn't want to eat dinner in a dumpy old mall but that won't stop me from popping in again. read more

The gyro slapped and was cheap too. The place does not look like much, but I was genuinely surprised / impressed by the quality and flavor of that gyro. I got feta for an extra $2, though I would recommend getting just the gyro for maximum cost efficiency. read more

The Greek Garden never disappoints. This little gem, inside of the mall (yes... the Food Court), has been in business for over 30 years. The portions are huge, the food is always served hot and fresh and flavors are spot on. My wife always gets the Chicken Slovakia plate and I am always a guaranteed Gyro plate guy. We never leave disappointed and hope you give them a shot. Trust me.... The mall is on its last leg, but this establishment is hanging in there and worth a visit. read more

I've seen reviews for Greek Garden so many times on Yelp and since I was in the area I decided to give it a try. It's located inside Newgate Mall and I know what you're thinking - as a general rule mall food courts don't have the best selection, but wow was I blown away by this! I got their chicken souvlaki plate. The chicken is tender and flavorful, the rice is lemony, the pita is soft and yummy and the Greek dressing for the salad is my favorite I've ever had. This is definitely the best Greek food I've had in Utah and I'm for sure going to go back often to try more menu items! read more

In my opinion, this is the best place in Ogden for Greek food. Yes, even better than the University Broiler. And this is the best spot for food in the mall. I will say that the fact it's in the mall is a bit of a drawback for me because I don't go to the mall all that often, and I would never go just for food. So I'm not here as often as I would like. But I just don't really feel like that's something that warrants a lower rating. My favorite thing here is the gyro plate with fries. The lamb is tender, and perfectly seasoned. This place is a staple in our diet and has been described by my husband as the best and only place in Utah to go for the gyro. I haven't eaten here as much as he has, but I like to get the spinach pie and they have good greek lemon rice. They put some kind of salty paprika on top of the rice that makes the whole flavor profile work. The family-run business is consistent and they usually remember my husband when he comes in and they make sure he gets a drink with his meal. I'm pretty sure this place has been here forever. Like, they built the mall around it. And when a restaurant has staying power in a mall, that says something. The wife loves the Gyro. The lamb is always cooked perfectly, the toppings are just right to not overpower the lamb, and add some TASDAFSDFA sauce (I don't know how to spell Tzatziki) on a soft Pita and you have some great grub. Personally, I like the kabobs. The chicken and steak are my favorite but the lamb comes in a close third. Add to it a salad with house dressing, some awesome lemon rice, and some of that good Pita we were talking about and you have an A+ meal. I ordered 2 gyros, one with fries and one with onion rings. When I got my order, I only received one gyro with fries and a side of rings. When I said that I had ordered 2 gyros, the guy behind the counter told me that's not what I ordered. I'm pretty sure I know what I ordered more than some misogynistic egomaniac behind the counter. Then, instead of a simple I'm sorry, he had to argue about it and TELL me what I wanted. I was more than happy to pay for the second one until he INSISTED he knew what I wanted more than I did. If there such a thing as five star mall food, then you'll find it here. I started eating here in the '90s, and the same family still owns, and runs, it today. The gyro is always as wonderful as I remember it. There's no pre-made, uniform sliced lamb here. It's thick and tasty, just the right amount of greasy, cooked to order, and smothered with a deliciously tangy tzatziki. It's the gyro against which I compare all others, restaurants included. Have a side of the awesome rice, and your day will be complete (I have no idea what's in it except the lemon pepper--saffron maybe? Though that seems a bit much even for this place). My wife heard about this mall location and wanted to try it and she loved it. So this trip I decided to give it a try and I'd say it is the best restaurant at the newgate mall. The wait time was pretty long but the food is made fresh and you get a lot of it. We ordered the double souvlaki and shared it. We each got 1/2 the salad, 1/2 cup of rice each, 2pieces of flat bread, and a skewer of chicken each. They also have the best deals on drinks at the mall. We order the large and it was fairy cheap. The chicken was very tender and was seasoned to perfection, the salad was just ok. I was not a big fan of the salad dressing, it did not have a good flavor. The pita bread was soft and warm and so delicious. The rice had just enough lemon in it and was also very good. Definitely give this greek place a try if you are at the mall, you won't regret it. I think it is the best option at tge newgate mall. It Iooks to be run by a greek family so you know you are getting authentic food. The prices were good as well. read more

This is definitely the most authentic and true greek food I have had in the whole state of Utah (Ikr mall food!) Greek Garden is super bomb super-fast Greek food at the food court in the Newgate Mall. I love their gyro plate! It's a plate loaded with lots of yummy gyro meat some pita a salad and your choice of lemon rice or fries. Both side choices are good but I opt for the fries they are sprinkled with Greek gardens secret seasoning mmmmm good, then the whole mess is doused with a heaping spoonful of tzatziki sauce. I would like some bigger portions of pita on the plate and I'm not a big mall shopper, these are the only cons as far as I'm concerned. read more

I got charged $3,200 for my $30 bill. They said they refunded it and just charged me the $30. I get all the way to Salt Lake and I see that I have a $70 pending purchase from there.
