Gyro combo to go. Rice or fries are the options, no salad.
    Wallace W.

Based on Yelp ratings I decided to give this fast food Greek place a try. I ordered a gyro combo. I had ordered as a sit down lunch but what I got was a tin of overcooked and crunchy gyro meat on pita, with little flavor from either the tzatziki sauce or half tomato wedge. The orange rice lacked any distinct flavor too. As I ate, banished to my truck, I realized that they hadn't given me the soda cup. I went back in and for some reason was offered two cups. I turned down the second and filled my cup with flavorless ice tea. I dumped it out and got a root beer. Bad experience all around I won't be back.

My husband likes greek food and tends to gravitate to a new place to try and compare with his favorites. We stopped in for lunch and it wasn't overly busy but there were several customers beside us. The location is in a strip mall and has entrances in front and back with a hallway/tunnel type feel inside. You order at the counter and then choose your seat and wait for the food to come. I ordered the Chicken Gyro which came with greek salad and rice. I really liked the gyro flavor and the white sauce added just the right amount of juicyness to the meat and pita. I also ordered the chicken rice soup. I like it when the soup is lemony and this one didn't disappoint.

unfortunately none of my friends liked it. the picture looked much better. I didn't eat it and threw it away

The gyro sandwich with additional sides purchased at $6.25 plus $3.99

I ordered online to save time and when I arrived the women stated I should have ordered the combo plate; but it's not listed online. I had to pay for an additional side - which was no problem but in all honesty for $3.99 I should have received more side then what was given; but I've noticed Utah transplants legit make sure they cater to the majority vs the minority. I'll keep going to my favorite Greek place in the mall. They food is well seasoned and flavorful.

Seriously give me a break you charged me $2.49 for side of season potatoes!?'!?!? More like half a microwaved potato with salt & pepper! Rip off!

Absolutely delicious. My gyro was very good. My husband liked his chicken kabob plate. They have dolmas & hummus even though it is not on the menu board. The prices are so reasonable.

The gyro sandwich is so delicious! A lamb beef combo. Really yummy. We also tried the chicken lemon soup which was really good.

I love their gyros and Greek potatoes. Their hours are a bit wonky, so make sure to check before you head out.

By far the best Greek food in Utah! Owners are very hard working and friendly. Seriously try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

The lamb gyro was really nice and my wife's chicken kabob plate all tasted great. BUT I ordered some baklava and it came with Hersheys syrup drizzled over the top. It absolutely ruined it. I must say, it is one of the most curious food pairings I have ever tried. A waste of $12.

It was supposed to come with one steak kabob, one chicken kabob, one Gyro, potatoes, rice, salad, and pita bread. Ordered takeout and to my dismay it didn't have any pita bread or rice. I received two heapfuls of potatoes instead and definitely feel that the restaurant should have notified me during pickup. The Gyro was full of meat with a few red onions. The Greek salad did include dressing which was A LOT better than their cucumber sauce. I ordered extra cucumber sauce and it basically tastes like ranch dressing. Definitely not what I was expecting at all! The potatoes and kabobs had way too much salt on them. The seasoning was okay but nothing that I couldn't make myself at home. The Greek salad consisted of iceberg lettuce, cucumber slices, one tomato slice, and a few black olive slices. No feta cheese was included and it was very bland for a Greek restaurant. Really disappointed that I didn't get to try their rice or pita bread without anything in or on it like the Gyro. The restaurant also didn't include any eating utensils or napkins though they were requested. More than likely would not visit or order from again.

I've yet to find a restaurant that I would rate their food 5 out of 5.....til now. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with French fries. Oh my goodness....perfection! My food came piping hot. Fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onion were on the side if you wanted to add to the sandwich. French fries were perfect and not greasy. My lunch also came with a nice crisp fresh salad. I ordered the Single Kabob with Lamb Gyro Platter, humus with pita, and one of their delicious baklava's. I requested shrimp as my kabob and it was absolutely one of the best kabob's that I've ever had! Cooked/grilled to absolute perfection with the perfect amount of seasoning. The Lamb Gyro was abundant in tasty lamb meat along with lettuce, red onions, and their delicious white sauce. The platter also came with a side of lemon spice potatoes, lemon rice, and a small Greek salad with Greek dressing. The hummus with pita also included tahini sauce which tasted much like cucumber sauce to me. The humus was absolutely delicious and I definitely could have used more pita bread as it came with four small slices that didn't last very long (they were THAT good)! Be sure to order additional pita bread if you get this side. Next time I definitely will. The Baklava was also very fresh and made for an excellent dessert though I couldn't finish the meal in one sitting all by myself. Plenty of leftovers for myself or the house should they desire. Very impressed with Greek Palace for being a shopping mall restaurant considering it tasted better than ACTUAL restaurants that I've been to! Highly recommend this delicious hidden gem of a restaurant in the Layton Hills Mall to everyone.
