    Smoke Salmon "Benedict"

    1. Service was extremely slow. Slow to greet. Slow to get drink order. Slow to take the order. This was with a restaurant that at the time had less than 20 people (Sunday Brunch). 2. After waiting over 30 minutes for the food to come out was luke warm. The food we ordered was half order biscuits and gravy, smoked salmon Benedict, and one egg with toast and potatoes. Even in a busy restaurant that should not be taking 30 plus minutes 3. Food was not the best. As you can see in the photo the "toast" on the Benedict was soggy. Lots of water from the poached egg was still on the plate. The potatoes had some inconsistency mostly either uncooked or rubbery. Based on this experience we won't be back again which is a shame because it's in a fun area of town

I'm glad they're back! I ordered Mediterranean sandwich because I like it simple. They're tasty and delicious! The ingredients are wholly good!

This is a small bar with a few tables on Ogden's 25th Street. The menu is posted on the outside window, which is important because I think many people pass by without realizing it's there. Inside, the bar is dominant and reduces the tables to almost a side thought. There is not a lot of seating here for large groups or many groups and I suspect that the bar receives the most attention at night and weekends. The décor was old and a bit cluttered, and I found myself thinking that so much more could be done to make it visually speaking with a newer interior design that emphasized the name and its theme. Muted, a bit dark (even in daytime) and blah. With the pleasant Jade as my server, I got the grilled Brie sandwich, which came with a house side salad. I ordered a Jackson Hole Soda (huckleberry) to go with it. The sandwich was good tasting and the Brie nice and warm. Evenly grilled. Though the menu said the salad was "spring" greens, mine was mostly spinach. It was light and refreshing against the warm sandwich. The offerings in general seem pretty good as far as variety goes and what I was served was accurate, tasty and relatively quick to the table. I did not drink anything from the bar but noted that the prices were very affordable for drinks. As an example, not many places offer a $6 Moscow Mule.

    "Medium" done steak

I normally don't leave bad reviews but this one got me. Loved the atmosphere of the place and our waitress was great, however we waited an hour and 45 minutes for food and it was all pretty unfortunate. My steak was cooked about ten minutes past well done despite being ordered medium. I'm not sure if it was the charring but "chemical" is how I'd describe the taste. One of my friends had an eggplant Parmesan that was soup-like. My wife's panini was "alright". Overall, I'd like to see a place like this succeed with that location and atmosphere but I can't imagine a business where you wait an hour and forty five minutes for such a meal succeeding. Reading the reviews, it sounds like they can do better, but consistency is nice.

Service was great. Food was delicious. Employees are ALWAYS extremely kind and welcoming. Down on 25th the environment is perfect. Great experience every time. I highly recommend going, especially when 25th street is having the farmers market.

What a great place! From the owner to the great staff. The food was soooo good I can't wait to come back when we visit in September.

Stopped here for breakfast this past weekend. Fast service and good food. I had the Eggs Benedict and the wife had the French Toast. Everything was yummy but I have to say the breakfast potatoes were delicious and unique. Never had anything like them with the three kinds of potatoes and ham. Definitely worth the stop. Even appreciated the interior decor that gave it an original feel. This place serves Coke products and parking appears to be mainly on 25th. Not sure if there's a rear entrance.

Even after that, we waited another long time to even get drinks started and food ordered in. The bartender was super kind and talkative but felt like he had really no care for being attentive. The food we got was okay. The ribs had good flavor but the texture felt off as if they were microwaved or overcooked. My girlfriend got a buffalo chicken sandwich that really had no flavor and was mostly breading and super messy. I got a shepherds pie but as well the potatoes had little to no flavor.. I think this place has a lot of potential. Maybe it was just a bad night. But I think better service and curating a better palate for the menu can be done. Especially for being one of the few better bar and food places in Ogden.

Let me start with the servers the first time in i was greeted promptly with a smile by Laken, my server. The atmosphere was cozy with defined areas. Everything was clean and and cared for right down to the bathrooms. i could tell ownership has a quirky sense of humor based on the merchandise they sell. As i waited for the meal i watched the two servers working diligently with a smile, they didn't miss a beat with being attentive to their patrons and all of the other aspects of their job. Honestly i watched too see if they could keep the same place throughout my time there they worked like a fine oiled machine. Without having to say a word to each other they knew what to do to help each other. I can't imagine this being an easy task.. The second time coming in, i really wanted to see if the excellence was a fluke, but to my delight it was the same great experience as the first time. Serenity, My server worked with the same diligence as the first time i watched her working and again without missing a beat of the friendly service as i had with Laken, the first time in. Now here's the kicker the service was so good, i asked to speak with a manager or owner, I was told there wasn't a manager or owner present. They were self monitoring, that blew me away, these young ladies working like they were on their own, it screams volumes for their work ethics and management. Now for the food, presentation was just like the menu pics. I apologize i failed to take pics as it was served so it is pics from the menu. The was good, the breakfast i had was cooked, in my opinion, perfectly. There breakfast sausage was different than any other I've had. I've been to a lot of places. I highly recommend this place even the locals were really friendly with conversation they made me laugh, one of the locals went out to his truck and brought this spoon guy to me. I live over an hour away but i will say well worth the drive mainly for the experience. Now if i have to say anything that i would like to see different it would be the fly traps. They aren't intrusive but i would maybe use an alternative. But I'm not a fly expert and it's not a deal breaker.
