Food was great, service was great as well. So is the ambiance. Super cute! You can tell The place does not get much diversity. Definitely not the restaurants fault but not a great feeling being stared at when you walk in with your family, and same walking out. Overall service, staff, food was great!

Had a much better experience this time around. My steak was still burned to a crisp, lol (even my friend questioned why a medium-rare steak was so over overly charred), but the salmon and sides were absolutely delightful! Our waiter even joked about the fact that their salmon tastes better than their steaks, which is ironic, considering they're a steakhouse! The ambiance also didn't disappoint, once again, and our server was great! I only wish that I could have remembered his name!

Prairie Schooner Steak House is an absolute darling of a place. Do yourself a favor and ask to sit in one of the wagons--it makes the whole experience extra fun and cozy. The ambience is fantastic and the food absolutely delivers. We started with the shrimp scampi, which was amazing, and for the main course the Cowgirl stole the show--a filet mignon wrapped in bacon... you truly can't go wrong. A memorable dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I have eaten here dozens of times over the years. My husband and I even had our first official date here over 35 years ago. I would describe this as a higher end steak house with unique atmosphere that includes vignettes of miners, taxidermy animals, and old west scenery throughout the restaurant. I would not typically eat here unless it was for a special occasion due to the spendy pricing on the menu items. In the past, I've tried their steak and seafood options and haven't been disappointed. They serve complimentary cowboy bread and butter at the start of the meal. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We were some of the first customers of the day on a Saturday so we got acknowledged quickly. I was with family from out of town, and I wasn't overly hungry so I just ordered a salad with a side of soup. My family ordered a variety of appetizers along with steak and ribs. The waitress checked back on us regularly and kept our drinks full. My order included the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and a side of butternut squash soup. The wedge salad was fresh and the dressing was very flavorful. I like a good Roquefort style blue cheese and the dressing reminded me of that. The disappointment was the butternut squash soup. It tasted very watery with little to no seasoning and no real flavor of any kind. I didn't end up finishing it due to the taste. They offered several soup options like vegetable beef or French onion, and I wish I'd chosen differently. The value for the premium price just didn't seem to be there. The least expensive steak on the menu (not including the chopped steak) was $27.99. I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. The service left much to be desired. 3 stars due to the lack of service.

Really wonderful date night here! The steaks were cooked really well, and the atmosphere inside was unforgettable. We loved the theming! Definitely on the pricier side but you are paying for the experience as well! My boyfriend ordered a steak and they brought out the wrong one. We let them know and they said they ran out so they made this one instead. Unfortunately the steak he received was more expensive than the one he had ordered, but that's okay. I wouldn't have expected them to charge for the one he ordered, but nonetheless he thought it was delicious!

When I read the reviews, I went into my reservation thinking that the food would be just ok while the ambience would be super fun. I was wrong-the food was great too! At the Prairie Schooner, you get to eat your dinner inside a covered wagon-with the luxury of bench seats. So it's very comfortable, which I was worried about. No sitting on the floor here, just FYI. Our entire experience was fantastic-service was attentive and kind, the food was tasty and the ambience was unique. I loved feeling like I was eating out on the prairie-even the ceiling is made to look like stars in the sky. I'm a fan and am already looking forward to returning.

A+ for ambience. C for food. It was all edible. Chicken noodle soup was good. Clam chowder tasted like it was burnt but was yummy otherwise. The shrimp was good size fried and broiled was both good but not super seasoned. The fries there were several pieces that was burnt that you would imagine in a restaurant that you just throw out instead of plating. The chicken was juicy, but there was cartilage in fat that should've been trimmed. Brandon liked the fish and chips. I would say it was very home cook. You're not going for the food it's the atmosphere. The service was excellent Jennie was great.

My wife and I wanted a fun place to have dinner for our anniversary. We chose prarie schooner and we were not disappointed with the fun atmosphere and the welcoming staff. The staff were very accommodating and were attentive for whenever we needed anything throughout the meal. The food on the otherhand was a big let down. We got broccoli cheddar soup and the beef and vegetable soup and both were incredibly salty. Then we got salmon and top sirloin and both had very little flavor. The salmon has to be dunked in the tartar sauce to have any flavor. And I ended up sinking my steak in the leftover soup to give it more flavor. I will give credit to the chef that at least the doneness was correct. The salmon was very tender and the steak was cooked to how it was ordered. My recommendation would be to include some maldon as salt or fleur de sel on the side to bring out more flavor from the steaks or better yet a compound butter. The salmon just had zero seasoning so anything would have helped that. If someone wants to have a fun environment and great service I'd recommend Prarie Schooner as a one time visit. But if someone wants to come here for great tasting food I would not recommend eating here.

Also the hot and sour shredded potato, which we hadn't seen elsewhere. Both were good, and the Chongqing Chicken had a pleasant hot and numbing spice. Do not get me wrong, I absolutely love Wu's Crab and the owners, so I will always be a repeat customer. The reason why I'm even on this site is because I enjoy looking up food that I've never tried, reading the reviews, and looking at the beautiful photos that are taken by so many of you. So let's get to it. I have never had a Seafood Gumbo and I couldn't find any photos on this particular restaurant in regards to what it would look like. So I "Googled" the dish and I saw full pieces of seafood in and around a very rich gravy-like broth. The disappointment here came in when I ordered it for takeout (it does come with a side of white rice separate from the dish itself). There were no whole pieces of seafood. It definitely tasted like seafood (no particular fish flavor) but it was like they blended up a bunch of fish where you couldn't decipher one flavor from another. A dark brown stew with a few small vegetables thrown in and that was it. I also ordered their amazing Crab Cheese Wontons (8 pc) which does come with a large side of warm sweet and sour sauce. Sadly those all tasted like fried fish. Obviously the same fryer was used for both the seafood and wonton's and honestly they were disgusting. I do give Wu's a 10/10 for stuffing them completely with cream cheese and crab, but if the outer shell tastes like someone's fried shrimp, I'm just not interested. That said, I'll still be going back for the seafood boils and whatever else may tickle my fancy when I'm there.

The fish and chips and squash blossom stood out as favorites. That said, both the clams and the shrimp scampi had a slight metallic flavor, which took away a bit from otherwise good dishes. Plates moved through the dining room effortlessly, every dish arrived hot, perfectly timed, and beautifully presented. There truly is not one thing at WildFin that is not delicious. Each course somehow outdid the last, and the pacing was impeccable. The staff was attentive without hovering, thoughtful, and more dialed in than anywhere else I could have chosen to celebrate her. We visited on a Sunday and were charged full dinner price, even though it was lunchtime--but most of what was available felt like leftover lunch items. The food was cold, dried out, and honestly not appetizing at all. The meat was especially tough and hard to chew, which made it even worse. The biggest letdown was the crab legs. We were repeatedly told they'd be out in "10 minutes," but we waited over 30 minutes. When they finally brought some out, there was barely anything--just a few pieces--and they were gone almost instantly. Definitely not what was advertised. The restaurant itself was clean, but it felt pretty rundown and not well maintained. Several food areas were empty, including desserts, and the drink machines were nearly out or barely working. As I was getting ready to leave, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and walked in and it was disgusting. It smelled like throw up, and it looked like somebody had thrown up. One of the most frustrating parts was the drinks. As soon as you sit down, they immediately come to your table and ask what you want to drink, which makes it seem like it's included--but sodas are actually charged separately. It felt very misleading, so just be aware of that. Overall, the whole experience felt disappointing and poorly managed. We will not be returning and would not recommend this place.

Most of the sushi was questionable they definitely had that fake taste like from the tuna and the selection was very sparse. Perhaps the worst of it was one of the gyozas I had was the filling literally tasted like bleach in one of them. My hope was at my friend and I came on a night that was very off for them.
