Was in town for work and ate at Lee's both days for lunch. Great menu, good diner food and even better service.

I've been a long-time customer of No Frills Diner in Ogden, and my wife and I used to come here…read moreregularly because the food was great and the portions were worth the price. Our absolute favorite thing on the menu was the Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast. It was two thick pieces of cream-cheese stuffed French toast topped with apples, caramel, crumble, and whipped cream, and you actually got two of those pieces per order, plus bacon and eggs. It was easily one of the best breakfast plates in Ogden and the main reason we kept coming back. Yesterday we came in and found out they completely removed it from the menu. Huge disappointment right out of the gate. They still have mixed berry, banana caramel, and peach versions. I can't eat the berry because of an allergy, and we've had the peach before and didn't care for it, so we tried the banana caramel crunch instead. Service was slower than usual. There's a help-wanted sign when you walk in and it looked like a new employee was being trained, so that part was understandable. What wasn't understandable was when the food showed up. The portion has been cut in half. What used to be two stuffed French toast pieces per order is now only one, but the price is the same. My wife and I have both had weight-loss surgery, so we're definitely not people who need massive portions. But cutting the plate by 50% while charging the same price just feels like a bad move. Even though we split meals we made it up by tipping are wait staff, the difference as if we would have ordered two meals, Removing a customer favorite and shrinking portions at the same time is a good way to lose longtime customers. Cute little diner, just hope the owners can rethink this issue. All things change and not always for the good. We used to recommend No Frills to everyone. After this visit, it's hard to say we will anymore or visit ourselves.

I also had to track down some syrup since no one was around to ask. My first bite was good, and that was the last good thing about it. Every bite after was saltier than the Dead Sea, my breakfast was ruined and inedible. I will never come back to this establishment and urge you to take your hard earned money elsewhere.

At the counter is the beverage station, and noticing the smiles and friendliness of the staff, you can feel the kindness and genuine courtesy of the staff. Everyone of them were smiling. I asked what was good, and having ordered what was recommended, Connie smiled and said thank you for trusting her. That level of warmth is hard to find and if you allow it, consumes you and you head right out into the world and spread it. What a wonderful way to start my adventure today. The crunchy French toast breakfast combination was everything she said it would be! Delicious! And along with the smiles, my breakfast experience at The Rusty Spoon was amazing! And while you're at it, buy a t-shirt. Have an awesome day everyone.

We recently came here during our visit to Ogden. The food was really good but unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. I only got one of my tea with a cute saying on the mug. I got eggs and bacon and then shared pancakes with my husband. The food was good and the portions are plenty and the pancakes had the perfect amount of sweetness I was looking for! The waitress was very friendly and prompt. We even chatted briefly about our events for the day and she got excited when we mentioned Bear Lake as she shared her love for it. Made us excited for our day ahead! We will definitely be back when we visit again.
