This is a fun, and loud place, and the place has character! We got toasted ravioli in red pepper sauce (which was basically the red pepper bisque). Delicious! I could easily eat the bisque alone. We popped in on our way back to Park City from the Golden Spike National Park. Called 10 minutes ahead because we were a party of 7, and they were able to immediately seat us. Our server was super friendly. The food came out fast, fresh, and was all pretty good. Highlight apps were the pretzel bites with the beer cheese (there was waaayyyy too much cheese dip - a soup bowl full), the roasted brussels sprouts, and a Caesar salad. Around eh table, folks had the fried chicken, the Philly cheese steak, the salmon special, and some burgers. Everything was cooked nicely and served hot and fast. They have cool swag too! Free parking across the street in the parking garage. And it was a relief to find a brew pub where we could also have our 17 year old nephew join for a meal. A fun pub and bar atmosphere with delicious food! I had the fish and chips and they were cooked to perfection. Others in our group had the TOG Burger, ribs, and the country fried chicken. I can't say enough great things about UTOG. The local is central to all that is happening in Ogden. Sir on the patio and watch a game, go the farmers market and walk over for some lunch. My group of 4 stopped in after a morning of wedding dress shopping (at another wonderful local shop). We were seated right away, despite the lunch crowd starting to grow. Absolutely delicious! I was staying at a hotel nearby and stopped in on a Tuesday to place a to-go order. I was greeted right away by a friendly staff member and offered a seat at a table or bar. The brewery is a large space with tons of high and low top wooden tables with tvs and beer brands lining the walls. I could see the brewing area in the back of the restaurant behind the bar. After I asked a few questions I opted for the mother cluckin chicken sandwich , grilled without the sauce and Cajun fries. The sandwich was monstrous but every bit of it was bursting with fresh flavors. The bacon was an extra special treat! The Cajun fries were my second best choice they were hot, well seasoned and a fantastic either way the chipotle aioli. The beers were tasty but probably more enjoyable during the summer in their back patio watching the Salt Lake Bees baseball game on the patio for addl $5.00. I really have to rave about the staff because I ate here on Pie & Beer day and they were slammed. The staff were all still so awesome even though you could tell they were worn out. I went with the son of a peach Hefeweizen to drink and it was delicious. For dinner I had the wing sandwich and it was perfect! The sauce was delicious and it was everything I hoped it would be. I had tots for my side and my husband had the sweet potato fries with his. Tots are tots so nothing too exciting there and the sweet potato fries were delicious and seasoned perfectly. For dessert we shared the special which was a peach cobbler. It was amazing! I'll definitely be back to try the Philly and another dessert. Stereotypically, Utah moms are facial aesthetics enthusiasts, so allow me to liken unto a chemical peel for my target audience. The bun is like your face five days after the salicylic acid does its work. Shiny, glowing, and beautiful. (you, the reader, were beautiful before your facial as well...) My wife ordered the cheesesteak, and I will admit that my photography skills on this plate faltered. It was actually a pretty good size. I'm still thanking her that she filled up on tater tots and Brussels sprouts so that I could have half of her sandwich. Pretty cool spot with a great selection of draft/canned beer and a full bar. Great prices and good vibes (interior + workers) all around. Definitely was a great way to kick off my first day in Utah. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken which was a salty, delicious meal. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly! Even though they were just chicken tender shaped (not what I usually think of when I think "Country Fried Chicken"), all the components of the meal were so good that I didn't even care lol. Drink of choice was the Tart Apple Sour with a caramel rim (10/10 would recommend WITH the rim). The sour beer was honestly really good on its own, but the caramel rim really tied it all together. I wish I could just take everything about this brewery and bring it back home with me. This was awesome! Will definitely have to try some more of their beers while I'm still in town... UTOG beers were good. I only tried the UTOG Pale Ale and what they call The BEER. Both were beyond my expectations. Not anything groundbreaking, but very solid examples of their respective styles. The Pale Ale was lively and very clean and the BEER was probably the most refreshing beer I've ever had. We got the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and they were very good but they needed some salt. We asked for salt and pepper and they were better when we added it. I got the burger. It was a boring choice but their menu is on the small side and nothing else was doing it for me. They made it sound very good. The patty was bland, overcooked and mealy. Needed salt and more. They put lettuce, tomato, red onion, some orange colored sauce along with cheese, crispy onion (thin cut onion rings) and thick bacon that they criss cross so that you have to pull the burger apart and rearrange it so that you get close to the same amount every bite. I added my own salt and pepper, I added some of my fry sauce, I added more salt, I left about 1/3 of it after I gave up. I find it odd that another review from about a week ago felt that everything was very heavily over seasoned. Maybe as a result of that review they went too far the other way. Or maybe it's just a roll of the dice day to day, cook to cook. My wife got the ribs. She really liked them. I think they were fine, and fine in a way that applies to a non-rib/BBQ place making ribs. If we were in a highly regarded BBQ joint in Texas and that's what they gave us I would be extremely disappointed. For a Brewery in Ogden it was fine. When ordering the ribs my wife wanted the house BBQ sauce, but she asked for a small side of their other BBQ sauces, the Cajun and the Carolina Mustard. The server informed her that the Cajun was the house with some Cajun seasoning in it so no need to get some of that... So she asked if she could just get some of the Carolina Mustard "BBQ Sauce." The Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce is, wait for it, plain yellow mustard. They gave her a side of yellow mustard. Their food is pricey. My 8oz burger was $16.50. It came with fries. The half rack of Ribs was $18.50. The Brussel Sprouts were $13.75 if I remember right. If I were to go back I'd eat ahead of time and just have beer. read more
