Well, the parking was pretty good, and though it was busy on a Wed morning, that sat me in just a few minutes. I was road trippin and needed a break and some food and this place showed up! Very average, or even below average, bar food. We were excited to hear from our hotel (Best Western) receptionist next door that they made a great "Navajo" taco. We ordered the taco and a kids Mac-n-cheese. We were excited when we opened the take out carton with the taco. It looked very appetizing. The taco was just OK with a chili filling and side fixing's (lettuce, tomato sour cream etc) and a great fry-bread. The Mac-n-cheese was very much the Kraft brand we used to eat as a kid, just without the hot dog slices mom used to add to it. One bit of that was all. The taco itself got only two bites each from the wife and I. I saved the Mac for the dog in the morning and threw the rest of the taco in the trash. Food wasn't worth the indigestion. I think we both picked at the bread for a couple bites more. A decent looking restaurant inside, but the food didn't get our respect. We had dinner here on a previous visit and liked it so well we returned when we were in Ogden last week! They did not disappoint! The restaurant is so charming with rustic lodge decor (even have a cute little gift shop) and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and efficient! Our server for breakfast had us all laughing, she was so friendly and funny and took great care of us! We actually had breakfast and dinner twice we liked it so well! Food was good, really enjoyed their Southwest Chicken soup (one of their homemade house specialties)! Highly recommend! read more

My wife took our kids here this morning, 2/16 and got sat in the 2nd booth past the host stand. She had a horrible experience. The waitress was extremely rude and made my wife come home in tears. She also brought boxes and check within maybe 3 minutes of food coming out, encouraged them to hurry up and leave and literally grabbed a utensil out of 1 year old's hand saying that they weren't being safe. Jeremiah's is one of those small town restaurants that just does it right. Good food, good service, good prices. And a must try for breakfast, scones, cinnamon rolls. We went with a group of 8 and had a great time, the table was appropriately sized, the noise level was low and great for conversation. I tried the prime rib special as they only serve it on Friday and Saturday nights after 5:00pm. It was very good, a very large portion served with vegetables and potato for $23. I asked for med rare and it was more well done, but still juicy and flavorful. My wife had the Monte Cristo which was good, not the best, but still very good. Came in on a Saturday around 4:00. It was super busy in the front lobby. It was also Christmas break time for folks and this restaurant is situated right by the best Western. So the wait was a little stressful and the booths weren't full so I am guessing it could have been in between shifts. Once we were seated everything was wonderful. The waitress was friendly and welcoming, she knew what she was doing. The food also came out quickly. I got the Navajo taco and loved it! I noticed a cinnamon roll on the other table that looked amazing. Didn't have room for dessert so asked for one to go. I love the atmosphere, the service once seated and I would definitely go again! Jeremiah's was a good choice: comforting family-style atmosphere, friendly service, and good basic choices. One item that sets Jeremiah's apart is the scones. I got the small dippers (which weren't small) with honey butter dipping sauce. Excellent! My entree was the teriyaki salmon, which was moist with just the right amount of sauce. This is definitely be of the best breakfast spots in town. I love the chicken fajita skillet. They have so many choices that everyone you're eating with will find something they like. It's clean and has a lodge feel to it. Expect a bit of a wait especially on the weekends but it's worth hanging around for. The service can be a little slow which is the only downside. The servers are always super friendly, I'm not sure if they just have too many tables or what but be patient and they'll get you taken care of. read more

The waitress Trudy, was very nice. The person helping bring our order out not so much! She brought the food out piece by piece. The pancakes were so crisp they cracked when I tried to cut them. No syrup came with them. I had asked to sub the egg for an extra sausage- it's an up charge, I'm allergic to egg, they should make substitutions in those cases. Eggs are considerably more expensive than a breakfast sausage. The extra gravy for another persons food was cold and tasted like uncooked flour. The person who brought the food out was rude and just kind of dropped and ran, then went to find the waitress to tell her I was made at her, no I wasn't. I was more irritated by the person who delivered the food and was rude when I asked her about the food that was missing from my meal. I won't go back! read more

I went for brunch and had breakfast - I'm lactose intolerant so I usually have to make a few adjustments or make sure that I'm not eating anything that contains lactose. I ended up getting a garden omelet without cheese, and I asked the server to not put any butter on my toast and asked her if they put butter or anything in the hash browns and she said that they only use oil so I said that would be fine. They were super helpful, super nice, and they made my food exactly as I specified (dry toast, no cheese in the omelet). To top it all off the ambiance of the place is incredible, it gives log cabin vibes and it's a great experience. The tables are huge (we were a party of 9 and were sat at a huge round table and we all had plenty of space. The prices were also reasonable. They also had a little shop up front by the register with a variety of items both for kids and adults (had stuffed animals, shot glasses, bracelets, earrings, rings, etc). I got a dragons bloodstone bracelet because it's pretty and also sounds epic, and they were actually a great price so I should have got more bracelets because I love rocks. So this was our first visit to this establishment. Been thinking about it for a long time. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess and taken to our seat which was a very nice booth. This place is very large and there were a lot of people having breakfast. Our server came by within a few and took our drink order. I was glad to see they had tomato juice. The menu is very extensive and I had decided on their meat lovers omelette. But, as it is Cinco de Mayo I decided on the special of the day Chilaquiles. My wife ordered a single pancake with blue berries and we also ordered the small fruit plate. My wife's pancake filled the entire plate and she was very happy with it. Mine on the other hand was the worst Chilaquiles I have ever had in my life. The dish was just chips with some salsa pored over the top and cheese added with lots of sliced onions. My OE eggs were served on the side of the plate and there was also a bowl of black beans on the plate. So for me a very bad first experience. We will go back but I won't order a special or anything Mexican again. Not sure when we will go back. read more

We stayed one night in Ogden. We were looking for American food for dinner. Hopefully something healthy, but not too heavy when we came upon Jeremiah's. The place was pretty busy. We we're showing to our booth and given menus. Our waitress was polite and friendly.She took our order and gave us a bottle to keep it full. I have a 10 ounce sirloin steak with a side salad french fries and carrots. The steak was very tender and cooked perfectly. French fries were the right texture. I really enjoyed the cooked baby carrots although they had no seasoning on them at all. My husband had half rack of baby back ribs. He said they were very good. Terrible meal experience at Jeremiah's. Ordered the Ale battered vegetables (appetizer), fish and chips, and added a dinner salad. EVERY ITEM we ordered had something wrong with it OR we had to ask for the item. The ale battered vegetables took a long while to come, then we had to ask for the salads which did not have the salad dressing which we had to remind the person helping us what dressings we ordered. Then when the fish and chips finally came out, the plate only had the fish. We then asked the server for the chips. These were supposed to be English Chips (stated on the menu). We got some chopped up potatoes which the server called "home fries." Picture below. We then happen to see another table's fish and chips order and they had the English Chips! Then we had to ask for the coleslaw that also was supposed to be on the plate. The server came back with one small bowl and said that they had no more coleslaw for the night. We asked to speak to the manager to discuss the problems and the manager had no empathy that our meal was a mess. His reply was "he was a better server" when we discussed all the issues. This place is spot on for breakfast! We are locals and frequent this place about every other month for breakfast. We also stop in for an occasional dinner.... No matter when you're looking to eat, this is a great place. The portion sizes are large, so it's best to have an appetite if you're stopping here or you will end up taking a lot home! On our event visit I had the special for the day, it was the el fuego omelet. It's not on the menu every day and the first time I had it, but it was seasoned perfectly and lots of great flavor. I had been wanting to try this place all summer but they were always so busy. So we finally took a shot and got up early and got right in. They have a huge menu with so many things to choose from. I opted for a breakfast that has sausage, eggs, hash browns and pancakes. Ordered a scone with the most delicious honey butter. The chicken fried steak was super good too but I wasn't a fan of the gravy. It had a super Smokey favor almost over baring. The server was super friendly and attentive.
