Love that UT has a winery with tasting room and restaurant. Husband and I have been here twice already. Employees are friendly, facility is beautiful, wines are a little too sweet for me (but they have others I like), food is delicious, and portions are large. This will be a go to spot for us.

Dining at Purple Sky Winery was a wonderful experience. There is lovely ambience in the restaurant... fireplace, gentle purple lighting and accents, white linen tablecloths. Foodwise, the halibut and sea bass were both outstanding--perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. The rib eye steak was just as impressive: juicy, rich, and seasoned to perfection. Portions were very generous, which made the experience even better. On top of the amazing food, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and they immediately recognized that which was a nice touch. You can tell they really care about the dining experience from start to finish. It was so nice to go to a great restaurant in Ogden . This place is a must-visit if you're looking for exceptional food, good value, and top-notch service.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary here. The place is elegant, wine is great and the food is delicious. We decided to order the specials that were verbally presented to us when we sat down. A steak plate and a fish plate. They were not listed on menu. While they were delicious, we were extremely surprised at the cost!! The waitress never even asked how the steak should be cooked. Make sure to be aware of the price before ordering the special . Other than that, we had a beautiful evening at Purple Sky

Wow! What a wonderful restaurant and wine tasting room. We had the best service from Adam. We ordered flights of wine and a charcuterie board. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations. We were celebrating our anniversary and this location was perfect. The building is beautiful and the outside atmosphere when you pull up makes you feel like you're in Sonoma or Napa (in some small way). The wine was delicious and so was the charcuterie board. We bought wine to take home for our special occasion. When we walked out, we were already planning our next trip back to enjoy this incredible place. Northern Utah has needed an elegant and romantic restaurant with an impeccable menu to choose from. We can't wait to share Purple Sky Winery with our family and friends in the very near future! What a gem!!!!

The food was amazing but the service was terrible. We sat there for 30 minutes before anyone even came to get our drink order. We were really looking forward to having a nice restaurant to go to outside of going down to salt lake, but unfortunately it seems as though their manager doesn't have control of the staff. Very passive. When you're paying $200 for a meal there are certain expectations. I would highly recommend sending your staff to Tiburon to figure out how to treat your clients. This was very sub par!! Our drinks were empty half the time before being asked if we would like a refill. Very disappointed. I truly feel bad for the chefs they are truly are amazing but I would highly recommend better wait staff. The staff was within view on their phones and chatting. Also want to note they weren't busy there's no reason to not provide better than sub par service.

This location has not been on our radar before, and we happened to be nearby Bella's and had not been here before so we gave it a try. As you walk in the front door, they have a fun coy pond that you can watch the fish swim around while you wait to be seated. On this visit, they were not busy so we were seated right away. Although they are a Mexican restaurant, they offer steak, ribs and seafood also. They sat us in a booth tucked into an alcove which was nice and quiet. They offer chips and salsa at the table while you peruse the menus. I love seafood enchiladas because they usually come with a creamy sauce instead of the typical tomato based enchilada sauce. I ordered their offering, and found it to be very tasty. It came with a side of rice and beans that I sampled but didn't eat completely. The staff was friendly and attentive. They kept our drinks full and checked back regularly, without being to stalker-like, to make sure we were ok. We enjoyed our meal and will likely come back again when we are in the area.

They skimped on the meat and beans for my burrito due to not having enough for the line of people behind us instead of getting more beans and meat. There were no less than 10 people working and only about 2 were doing any actual work for the patrons a couple others were cleaning and the other 6 or more were doing literally nothing but screwing off We asked for a small tortilla on the side along with tomatillo ranch dressing. We got to the cash register with no ranch and no tortilla. We asked and were told oh we don't have anymore because we are closed. They conveniently gave the last small tortillas to the people behind us who ordered after us. They very reluctantly gave me a large one when I asked and once they realized how disgusted I was with the service I had recieved. If your going to be open till 8. BE OPEN READY TO SERVE PATRONS TILL 8. Once you've taken care of everyone then you can clean up. Another great feature was the pre soaked wet trays they set our food on. They couldn't even bother to dry them off during the 20+ minute wait for our food to reach that end of the line. We eat at costa vida frequently this is the first (and last) time at this location. What was more disgusting is that there were TWO managers on duty and neither of them were doing anything to correct the absolute ridiculousness that was taking place in every aspect of this business. I seriously felt like we were on an episode of punk'd. Even worse, I think this is standard for this location. I have heard that this location was rated the lowest in the state. I should've listened and drove to a different location. The owners should be ashamed of this location and find new management. The service was on a completely unbelievable new level of bad. Everyone there should be embarrassed of their performance.

On paper, it hits that sweet spot: quick, casual sandwiches with a bit of personality. In practice, though, the execution doesn't keep up with the promise. The biggest issue is the production line--or lack of one. For a place built around fast sandwiches, a 5-8 minute wait from order to pickup feels unnecessarily sluggish. It's not just the time--it's the absence of rhythm. There's no visible flow, no sense that orders are moving forward with purpose. That's compounded by the physical layout: the counter is set back far enough that you can't really see what's happening. Instead of transparency and anticipation, you're left standing there, disconnected, waiting without context. Then there's the food itself. The sandwiches land squarely in the "fine, but forgettable" category. Hot sandwiches, in particular, miss the mark--more like something that sat a little too long than something freshly made. Think lukewarm bread with onions that feel more tired than grilled. Nothing is outright bad, but nothing stands out either. The atmosphere doesn't help. The energy behind the counter is low--no urgency, no enthusiasm, no sense that the team is driving toward anything. It feels static. In a space like this, momentum matters. Even average food can feel better when it's delivered with speed and intention. Here, that spark is missing. In the end, Potbelly has the right idea and the right price point--but without tightening up efficiency, improving visibility, and bringing some life back into the service, it struggles to deliver on what should be a straightforward win

We were really pleased with food, which came out pretty quickly. I had the country fried steak with hashbrowns, two eggs and a scone. The scone came out first and was not the type of scone I was used to in Washington State. This was fried dough with a nice lump of cinnamon butter on top. Absolutely delicious, but more of a dessert so I set that aside for after the meal. The meal is huge. The country fried steak was just perfect with excellent sausage gravy. The two eggs were cooked well and it can with a great pile of hashbrowns that were delicious. Others enjoyed their food as well, particularly the waffles. Definitely a great place for breakfast.

I will say they need to cook their hash browns and Cajun potatoes a lot longer. They were soft with no crunch. Now the service was where it went so wrong we came in with a party of 12 but it was about 10AM on a Friday so there was plenty of seating available. The First Lady who greeted us was young and very nice but then the older lady bringing out food was very rude every time she came. We took two small tables of 4 seats and had kids in all the adults laps. There were always open walkways but the waitress would wait and scowl at us and the kids to go through our walkway. They refused to push any tables together for us because they said it was bad timing. Then the waitress walked past our table and said she had seen a waitress trip over a kid and get a concussion so we need to control our kids. She didn't even stop and ask us personally. She walked past us and as she was putting food on the table behind us she was kinda bad mouthing us indirectly. All the younger servers were nice and accommodating but that one was very rude. I could not recommend coming here with children or a large group.
