    Coffee cake Cappuccino

Mercantile is a cute coffee shop, breakfast spot & more (lunch, wine, and cheese too!) on the main street in downtown Ogden. I went to breakfast. The breakfast burrito was tasty, big, and cheap - only $8! Super great way to fuel before a hike, which is what me and my friend did. Coffee cake was really tasty too! Great sweet pairing to my cappuccino. Service was friendly and they were quite fast to make our food. Next time I'm in Ogden I'll be back!

Select charcuterie on a Sunday morning shared by my husband and myself. I also had the amaretto latte with oat milk. Both were delicious.

A cute little brunch spot in the heart of downtown Ogden. Loved that it was open all day unlike a lot brunch places! Service is pretty quick, and the vibe is fun! I loved that they decorated with tons of little local paintings. The food here was good. Nothing that blew my mind, but good. I tried the veggie omelette and my husband got the breakfast scramble. Both were a big portion and left us very full.

Came here during the Ogden Christmas Village event, so it was understandably busy. The hot chocolate was delicious and reasonably priced. The café itself is charming and cozy, with spacious seating, some retail to browse, and festive Christmas décor that really adds to the warm atmosphere.

Cool place in downtown Ogden! Great location. Got a Hot chocolate with soy and it hit the spot. Decor is modern and cozy, very friendly baristas.

One last brunch to round out our trip to Utah! I ordered the breakfast scramble with sausage which was hefty and so delicious -- perfectly crisped potatoes, spinach, peppers, and an egg with sausages. Service was very friendly albeit a tad slow. Gorgeous restaurant with such a fun and lively atmosphere. Street parking was easy to find. Will def be back to try their fantastic coffee menu!

Fantastic Food. Well executed, perfectly combined flavors - a great meal! We will BE BACK!

Had coffee here with a friend on a Sunday. It is really cute. Was decorated cute, good vibes. Staff was nice but very busy -tables left dirty. Coffee was decent. Lots of cute trinkets and Utah/Ogden things to buy.

Three-cheese board with Beehive cheese, Sea hive cheese, and Brie

Stopped here in September on my way to Cache County. Enjoyed the three-cheese board with Beehive cheese, Sea hive cheese, and Brie. It was served with a jalapeño currant jam and mustard. The starch was crostini. All great. A few crostini were a bit thin and broke in my hands. That created a falling cheese emergency!

First time there was on mother's day 2025 food was good and price was right. However, standing in line to put your order in was kind of annoying because Line was pretty long. The first lady who took our order was sweet no hiccups when I went back to order a second round I had to stand in line again and the guy was pretty rude and like I said it was Mother's Day and it kind of hurt my feelings. Because of that I won't be back other than that food is good.

The double Croutons left over! They shouldn't call it a Caesar Salad. It should be called a Crouton Salad!

I just paid $19 for the smallest Caesar Salad in the whole wide world. When I first got there the Girl that was working there did not smile, rolled her eyes and said I'll be right with you. Very bossy bitter vibes. My small Ceaser Salad had double the croutons than lettuce. This bowl plate is super small. It is not a large bowl for a $19 Salad. I tipped them 2 bucks too even though it's self serve for everything, other than putting your food in front of you. they don't give you much more service than that! I finished and couldn't handle the crouton taste on every piece of lettuce. I finally went and showed her my plate , let her know that there were more Croutons than Lettuce in this Caesar Salad and if she could give me more lettuce. She just stared at me with a mean bitter look and I asked her if I should leave the salad there and she said you can take your salad with you. Then she brought over lettuce and caesar dressing and never said sorry/sorry for the inconvenience or will mention it to the owners, none of that. Just put the bowl of lettuce in front of me and told me that you can use your croutons on this and walked off, as if I was the problem! That's what needs to change with all customer service and these Millenials with their better than thou attitude. The staff should be trained on how to handle a complaint the old fashioned way! I work just as hard for my money and deserve a smile or an I'm sorry! That's Customer Service 101. Train your team Mercantile! Very bland and negative vibe type of service! I can tell this girl is bringing her personal problems to work. Too expensive for this type of vibe. The food is delicious, but I don't like the snobbery!!! You go back to a place for the ambiance that the staff creates for you. I give them a 1 star for how they made me feel. Like I was a nuisance. And 1 star for the food being good. Other than that, to all your Staff, leave your problems at home and stay present. You're not working to ruin peoples day. Don't get jobs in the service industry if you can't stop yourself from spreading your hum drum feelings onto others! You don't know what people are going through and it's your professional duty to be KIND!

They did NOT have a glass of wine available for less than $45 (+$20 cover). They have $30/glass on the menu but was out of stock according to the waitress. I also did not go to Sundance and am not here for that so his comment about being *out of my depth* is just dumb. I encourage you to look at the one star reviews of this place and see the owners' hostile, immature, and abrasive responses (others also note his blatant habit of lying). Stephen, book a therapy appointment. Original review below *********** There is a $20 cover charge to enter, and they were out of all of the cheapest ($30/glass) glasses of wine, so we were forced to get the next cheapest, a $45 glass of wine. Are you willing to spend $65 for a cheap glass of wine? They also only have five cocktails on the menu and you can't order anything else with liquor (I asked for a hot toddy cuz I'm freezing and they said no can do). The singer was good and the ambiance is nice; not very crowded. But overall, I would never pay $65/glass for mediocre wine unless I'm at an ultra luxury resort (which this is not).

Service can be slow and the food is unmistakenly Provençal: Beef tartar (nice mustard notes), Saffron Muscles, and Pressed Chicken. All dishes were light and authentic flavors to the region of Provence -- I think we just like other French regions better. HITS: Cocktails; Bread; Poulette (presents as a salad served on pressed chicken) MISSES: The muscles were dry - served in a small puddle of saffron beurre blanc. Service and a remarkable lack of knowledge by our waiter made Le Depot feel more like Le Dope. From the drink menu to the ingredients and preparation of some dishes, the waiter didn't possess some basic knowledge. Maybe we just asked "really hard" questions? The bar for service in PC has been set high by surrounding establishments like Handel, River Horse and Fletcher's, where the waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful .. this was the lasting memory from Le Depot.

Parker, the bartender, was pulling double duty as our server. Great attitude, BS and helpful at the same time. We started with a huge fries salad with lardons and poached egg that was well dressed. I had the chilled tomato soup (think creamy gazpacho). Both were excellent. We finished with a beautifully grilled sea bream that was shared. Total win. We will be back for the food, service and banter. Parker, I hope your quest for the perfect snow is fulfilled.

The inside of the restaurant is well appointed and I think fitting for the cuisine. Not overly decorated but nice vibe for a casual dinner. Food wise I would recommend the spicy Shrimp Scampi - the pasta was said to be house made and it showed. Great chew and a nice compliment to the spicy fresh scampi sauce. Only complaint would be leaving the tails on shrimp - basically have to deconstruct the dish to get them off. This is very common though so not a huge deal. I liked that the entrees come with a house salad to feel like a solid meal. The smokey pineapple cocktail was a little sweet for me but liked that there were some interesting options. Our sever Ayden did a great job with the larger group and had drinks and water well topped off. Overall I enjoyed Caffe Molise and if I'm back in SLC I would go here again.

The bar staff were quick to serve us, knowledgeable about their products, and made excellent cocktails. We were seated on the balcony, which had a wonderful ambiance. The garden setting was beautiful, the décor was tasteful, and the seating was comfortable. The serving staff were attentive throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the specials, offered appetizer suggestions, promptly cleared empty plates, and ensured all of our needs were met. Unfortunately, the food is where the experience dropped from a 5-star service rating to a 3-star overall rating. The fish was overwhelmed by a heavy tomato sauce that masked the flavor of the fish itself. The gnocchi was overcooked and swimming in sauce, resulting in a disappointing entrée. While the atmosphere and service were exceptional, the quality and execution of the food did not match the high standards set by the rest of the experience.

Just south are some strips of businesses. Search for the karate studio and art academy, then take a left to go behind them and there's Beehive! I swear, they are trying to hide from someone, and even having visited two years ago, I still couldn't find 'em when I stopped by a few weeks back! Inside, it's an itsy lil' store offering wedges of their cheese by the pound and cheese curds. They also have a few varieties of excellent cheeses not made in house and local Creminelli salami, plus Chocolot candies. They carry a decent selection of Savannah Bee Company bath and body products, and a bit of their own branded merchandise. A variety of local stores sell Beehive Cheese, but it's still fun to stop here as you have access to all their goodies, most importantly, a variety of dreamy cheese curds. I just tried Fully Loaded for the first time: a delightful cheese fortified with High West's Double Rye Whiskey, and wow! That is a new favorite (and I truly adore all their cheeses). It's a little bit sweet, with such an intriguing flavor, and everyone I shared it with remarked that it was especially delicious. Chocolot (based in Ogden!) makes some excellent and beautiful artisan truffles. At Beehive, they also had some of their toffee, peppermint bark, and chocolate covered cinnamon bears. I really adore this brand, and it can be difficult to track down, so make sure to snatch up a box (chocolates are $2 a piece, available either as a set of three of six). The truffles vary in each package, and are not marked, but you can find a flavor key on their website: https://chocolot.com/pages/flavors. 4 stars for the shop, which could use a little excitement as it's a tad utilitarian, but 5 strong stars for their most exceptional cheese!
