Came to town for the second time as it's got that old town charm,'plenty of place to eat and last time was able to bring the dog. Ended up at Warrens because they have an excellent patio out back nestled under some trees that must be great in the summer! Really enjoyed this restaurant because they accommodate dogs and have great local craft beer, something not found in Spanish Fork. Typically I like my Rueben's with corned beef, open faced, the Irish way but no good CB in Utah so take what you can get. Nice size sandwich, good amount of meat not fatty or greasy, kraut, cheese and dressing. Fries were good and it was great to have the fruit cup, a rarity at most restaurants. The Pastrami melt was also a good size, enough to bring home half. Also ordered a hamburger plain, no salt or pepper and it was large and kept my dog happy and content. He saw the logo on my jacket (traveling from Los Angeles to Utah for work) and gave us the discount. Food: everything is made to order so I appreciate how fresh all the fried food was. This is a cute little burger place on 25th Street in Ogden. They have a few craft beers on tap and the staff will let you know if it's not on tap. It's not bad beer for Utah. The burgers are huge, and the BAD burger stands for Breakfast All Day. There is a jam that has been added to the condiments on the burger. One of the most amazing burgers I've ever had! I really love the Ogden area but don't get there much. We just happened to stumble on to Warren's Craft Burgers in the historic district. I love "blue cheese" burgers but wanted to try something different so I had the B.A.D. Burger and it was out of this world. I decided to get dessert because the burgers were so good so I get little donuts with powdered sugar sprinkled on them and dipped them in chocolate. My whole family loved their food also. First off my rating would be higher if this was for the food alone. I found this place on our way through Utah going towards Zion. The food looked incredible and honestly it was. What was irritating is she could have told us as soon as we walked in that she was off work and that someone would be out but to sit and stare at us was just rude and weird. The food was great. I got the Mac and Cheese Burger which was INCREDIBLE. Hot, fresh, and flavorful. The Mac was cooked great not that thick clumpy kind you usually find on burgers. Honestly it's a Mac I would order all its own and enjoy. My husband got the Pastrami Burger which was delicious. It wasn't greasy or heavy. The pastrami tasted "clean" not sure how else to describe it. It was pure pastrami flavor. The onions were straight grilled to perfection. Great seasoning. After we finished the check was dropped at our table and then we had to flag someone down to pay because the waiter didn't come back. There were only two other tables so it wasn't packed. It says burgers on the sign on the front of the building, but once you open the menu , you'll find there's a plethora of delicious meal items to choose from - going well beyond basic burgers. This visit was during the workday for me but apparently, they were also offering a wonderful selection of cold beers to go along with your meal. We'll get to those beverage options another time. My lunch treat today was the French dip sandwich. Comprised of an amazing au jus that was built on a homemade red wine base it was a delicious way to dip and chew. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that their horseradish had a I nice kick to it. Accoutrements with the sandwich included steak fries. I'm currently everyone loved their meal. Some of the other "must try" items that others had at our table were there Mac in cheese burger, the jalapeño turkey burger, and the pastrami melt. This stop is "must visit" when you're in the downtown Ogden area. Our server was it extremely accommodating and worked hard to keep up with the needs of our group. The food came in spurts and one order did t come at all. The waitress didn't apologize and said they would work on it. We were all finished eating when the last plate arrived and it was someone else's order. Again no apology or offer of a discount. Rude waitress that didn't care.
