We are of legal age and obviously would have presented them at the register when purchasing, like everyone else. The problem was the employee's attitude and obvious assumption that he had "caught" two underage customers. The interaction felt rude, condescending, and completely unnecessary. What made it worse was how public and embarrassing it was. Other customers were around while this guy decided to go on a power trip for no reason. Then, the second he realized we were legal, he disappeared to the back and didn't say another word. No apology, no professionalism, nothing. If employees are going to profile customers and make them feel uncomfortable while shopping, maybe they should at least know how to interact with people respectfully afterward.
