Went for simple cones. Asked for a kids cone with kids size scoop. Was given a huge sugar cone, full. Then asked for two single scoop in the small cake cones. Paid over $20???? The kids scoop was double the single scoop and the girls working were clueless in trying to explain how the 3 very simple ice scream scoops were $7/ea. also the cake cones were stale. Cute interior. There was only one employee working. He was nice and helpful. In the photo on the left is a cinnamon cone with cheesecake and hazelnut ice creams, strawberry and heath as the mix ins. In the photo on the right is a vanilla cone with white chocolate ice cream with cookie dough as the mix in. The ice cream was so creamy and tasty. The cinnamon cone tasted super good too. Our experience tonight. Is indescribable. Me and my sister came in to get ice cream at this location, and when I tell you for $27 for missed priced items, flower tasting sorbet, and soup. We ordered two larges, and two smalls. Well they tried charging us for 3 larges and 1 small. Might I add two of them are in soup bowls. My sister mentioned that we had 2 larges and 2 smalls the girl said "oh okay I'll charge you for that then" not only that no gloves or hair nets for none of the staff! Before we left the girl said to us "sorry it's melted" and still served it to us for it being about 9pm at night no way should the ice cream be soup when we get home. The last photo is my sister's sweat pants absolutely sticky and stained. $27 for 4 melted soups, is absolutely ridiculous. read more

We came here the other night after a dance recital in Roy. First of all the website lists that they have dairy free options. They had none. I ordered an amaretto ice cream and the flavor was so faint that it almost just tasted like vanilla. It needs to have more flavoring put in it. But the ice cream was creamy and good. The main problem was the service. It was so bad that instead of getting upset it actually made me laugh and I just sat down. There was a teenage boy and girl on duty. The boy was trying to handle all of The orders, and the girl just walked around behind the counters, so, because of their mix in program, the boy was spending all his time doing the mix ins for the people in line and that takes a long time. So the girl could have been helping the other people in line who didn't want mix ins. Who just wanted a dish of ice cream or a cone. But she did nothing. She just walked around and walked around. I stood at the counter, thinking that any minute she would look up and wait on me, but she just continued to walk around and walk around . I finally just chuckled to myself and went and sat down and waited til the boy was through with all of his mix ins. Then I went back up and got my ice cream. read more

I was in here on the 4th of July & there were only 2 young kids working & not 1 adult in sight. BTW, the kids were working their butts off to keep things going smoothly & doing a damn fine job of it. My question is why are there no adult supervision at night & are you training these young kids as to what they should do in case of an emergency? I ordered a Rockin Concoction (German Chocolate flavor) which was very tasty and filling, and my wife ordered a Chocolate Malt which was very good too! You ever been to an ice cream place that does the cold marble and ice cream mashed with all kinds of toppings? Yeah? This place does that but better and cheaper. The coffee ice cream is awesome, and they make a mix called "Mud Pie" with chocolate and other stuff in there. The Mud Pie was so good I could barely recall my own ice cream. I had the sweet cream with Chocolate and Peanut butter. I should have gone with the Mud Pie; not that mine was bad, it was excellent, but the Mud Pie was supreme. But then... Very creamy ice cream. I got birthday cake, and no Joke was probably the best I've ever had.

If I could give this a zero star review I would. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughters first birthday. It looks like garbage. I got one of the biggest sheet cakes and it was only decorated with a border and childish like writing on it. I paid $7 extra for a "topper" the crown I got on it is awful. I'm incredibly bummed with the work that was not put into my daughters cake. Obviously she isn't going to care. But the memory of her first cake is garbage to me. Super disappointed in the icecream sandwich. I think the cookies are pre packaged, or ar least they taste like it. They are missing a big opportunity to have fresh big cookies. Also we ordered 4 ice cream sandwiches 2 were stuffed with ice cream and two had far less. It was weird. The flavors were plain, nothing to write home about. Came here for my sons birthday. It's really close to my house. You can literally make anything here it's great and very budget friendly compared to other ice cream places. Employee was really helpful and nice. Probably overwhelmed when they saw 20 people walk through the door, but was very nice regardless. We visited Big Scoops on 5/6 at 8:30 PM for our very first time and we were very disappointed. We just moved to Roy and we were excited to try a local creamery but we did not have a good experience. We waited in line for over 30 minutes because they were quite busy and only had two employees working. While we were waiting in line we noticed one of the employees was wearing extremely short shorts and a backless shirt. And the other one removed his hat several times, scratched his head, and then without washing his hands continued to scoop ice cream and handling cups. When we were finally able to order, our ice cream was scooped out of a container sitting on the counter. The ice cream was extremely melted when we got it and was quite over priced for what you get. Scoops is coldstone creamery style, but on a whole different level of amazing. The icecream is made by hand as well as some of the "mix ins" and other things they offer. I went here while on a nonprofit program and we were fundraising the towns of Utah. They gladly gave us an Ice cream voucher and we came back ready!!! I just remember being extremely happy with my cone. You can have them mix in toppings into your ice cream. And the amount of ice cream they gave you is fantastic! I got a scoop of banana and a scoop of chocolate and had them mix in gummy bears! It was so good. It was probably one of my most happiest memories of Utah. I will try to come back! read more
