Went for simple cones. Asked for a kids cone with kids size scoop. Was given a huge sugar cone, full. Then asked for two single scoop in the small cake cones. Paid over $20???? The kids scoop was double the single scoop and the girls working were clueless in trying to explain how the 3 very simple ice scream scoops were $7/ea. also the cake cones were stale. Will not return. Should have gone to artic circle next door. Superior ice cream and employees who know what they are doing. read more

Cute interior. There was only one employee working. He was nice and helpful. In the photo on the left is a cinnamon cone with cheesecake and hazelnut ice creams, strawberry and heath as the mix ins. In the photo on the right is a vanilla cone with white chocolate ice cream with cookie dough as the mix in. The ice cream was so creamy and tasty. The cinnamon cone tasted super good too. Will definitely come back here. read more

Our experience tonight. Is indescribable. Me and my sister came in to get ice cream at this location, and when I tell you for $27 for missed priced items, flower tasting sorbet, and soup. We ordered two larges, and two smalls. Well they tried charging us for 3 larges and 1 small. Might I add two of them are in soup bowls. My sister mentioned that we had 2 larges and 2 smalls the girl said "oh okay I'll charge you for that then" not only that no gloves or hair nets for none of the staff! Before we left the girl said to us "sorry it's melted" and still served it to us for it being about 9pm at night no way should the ice cream be soup when we get home. The last photo is my sister's sweat pants absolutely sticky and stained. $27 for 4 melted soups, is absolutely ridiculous. read more

The ice cream is always great quality fresh and creamy. Only thing that I would say is a little bit of a turnoff is the price. But quality is always expensive. Staff is always friendly read more

We came here the other night after a dance recital in Roy. First of all the website lists that they have dairy free options. They had none. I ordered an amaretto ice cream and the flavor was so faint that it almost just tasted like vanilla. It needs to have more flavoring put in it. But the ice cream was creamy and good. The main problem was the service. It was so bad that instead of getting upset it actually made me laugh and I just sat down. There was a teenage boy and girl on duty. The boy was trying to handle all of The orders, and the girl just walked around behind the counters, so, because of their mix in program, the boy was spending all his time doing the mix ins for the people in line and that takes a long time. So the girl could have been helping the other people in line who didn't want mix ins. Who just wanted a dish of ice cream or a cone. But she did nothing. She just walked around and walked around. I stood at the counter, thinking that any minute she would look up and wait on me, but she just continued to walk around and walk around . I finally just chuckled to myself and went and sat down and waited til the boy was through with all of his mix ins. Then I went back up and got my ice cream. read more

Ice cream is so good! They let you try the flavors and they are so nice. It's a very cute ice cream shop and definitely will be back!

I was in here on the 4th of July & there were only 2 young kids working & not 1 adult in sight. BTW, the kids were working their butts off to keep things going smoothly & doing a damn fine job of it. My question is why are there no adult supervision at night & are you training these young kids as to what they should do in case of an emergency? And in closing, the ONLY reason you got 4 stars is because of those 2 kids! read more

Great ice cream. Lots of options of ice cream and mix ins. Service was helpful. Cute decor.

Visiting from California and decided to get some ice cream. I ordered a Rockin Concoction (German Chocolate flavor) which was very tasty and filling, and my wife ordered a Chocolate Malt which was very good too! Our server Mia was very nice, friendly and helpful. Mia was busy but very quick on getting the orders done! Keep up the great work! Hopefully you'll get a raise! Definitely recommend this location. You ever been to an ice cream place that does the cold marble and ice cream mashed with all kinds of toppings? Yeah? This place does that but better and cheaper. The coffee ice cream is awesome, and they make a mix called "Mud Pie" with chocolate and other stuff in there. The Mud Pie was so good I could barely recall my own ice cream. I had the sweet cream with Chocolate and Peanut butter. I should have gone with the Mud Pie; not that mine was bad, it was excellent, but the Mud Pie was supreme. But then... I also really like coffee ice cream. read more

So delicious And fresh! Been going here for years and I love it every time. The waffles bowls are delicious as well.

We ordered 2 ice creams each in a waffle bowl , one had 2 mix ins the other had three. All we got was 2 ice creams, no waffle bowls no mix ins. Huge bummer! read more

Ordered ice cream from Grub Hub and included a comment asking for the wafer part of the pup cups our aussies usually get in the drive through.... Thought it might be seen or might not They went above and beyond!!! Two aussies got so excited to grab the order from the door and sit on our driveway to get lots of wafers. Love this shop so much!!! Mudpie is the best flavor! read more

Very creamy ice cream. I got birthday cake, and no Joke was probably the best I've ever had.

If I could give this a zero star review I would. I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughters first birthday. It looks like garbage. I got one of the biggest sheet cakes and it was only decorated with a border and childish like writing on it. I paid $7 extra for a "topper" the crown I got on it is awful. I'm incredibly bummed with the work that was not put into my daughters cake. Obviously she isn't going to care. But the memory of her first cake is garbage to me. I will never order a cake from here again. read more

Out if 3/4 of the flavors- haven't updated menu online or their menu at the window- great ice cream if they have the flavor. The owner has contacted me and will be updating menu! Seriously really good ice cream!!! read more

Great ice cream! Very creamy!! The employees were very friendly and the owner took great care of us. Great atmosphere.

Big Scoops Creamery serves up ice cream and other tasty treats. They have lots of flavors available and the portions are generous. Good place for a tasty treat. Staff was friendly. read more

Super disappointed in the icecream sandwich. I think the cookies are pre packaged, or ar least they taste like it. They are missing a big opportunity to have fresh big cookies. Also we ordered 4 ice cream sandwiches 2 were stuffed with ice cream and two had far less. It was weird. The flavors were plain, nothing to write home about. Lastly, they were out of flavors so it was disappointing. read more

Came here for my sons birthday. It's really close to my house. You can literally make anything here it's great and very budget friendly compared to other ice cream places. Employee was really helpful and nice. Probably overwhelmed when they saw 20 people walk through the door, but was very nice regardless. Would definitely come back, maybe when it gets a little warmer though. Keep up the great work! read more

This was a great choice for a wedding reception! They were an excellent price, arrived in plenty of time to set up and even stayed a bit longer than originally reserved as there were still lots of people wanting to get some ice cream. Great product and very nice people to work with. They freed up all my time so I could visit and be part of the crowd instead of worrying about the food. Thanks so much for your excellent service!!! read more

This place has delicious ice cream. I love so many different combinations. The line at the drive thru seems to take a long time so it's quicker to go in. I appreciate that it's not artic circle but quicker service would be nice. read more

Amazing ice creamery!! Such creamy ice cream. Best customer service! Great atmosphere and company!!

Super friendly staff. I ordered a banana split and my daughter ordered a waffle cone ice cream. You get to choose 3 flavors of ice cream and 3 toppings for the banana split. This thing was HUGE! It filled up the to go container and was so big, I was able to save half for the next day. read more

We visited Big Scoops on 5/6 at 8:30 PM for our very first time and we were very disappointed. We just moved to Roy and we were excited to try a local creamery but we did not have a good experience. We waited in line for over 30 minutes because they were quite busy and only had two employees working. While we were waiting in line we noticed one of the employees was wearing extremely short shorts and a backless shirt. And the other one removed his hat several times, scratched his head, and then without washing his hands continued to scoop ice cream and handling cups. When we were finally able to order, our ice cream was scooped out of a container sitting on the counter. The ice cream was extremely melted when we got it and was quite over priced for what you get. I don't think we will be returning. read more

I think is not bad, for price. But, the ice cream itself seems pretty quality to me, it's pretty good compared to other ice cream places. ( to dive into the specifics with the ice cream, the ice cream is more creamy ) I would recommend this for maybe a after-dinner treat! read more

Like this place when you can go in. Ordering delivery is trash! Probably not even the companies fault however, they use grub hub so I won't be ordering out again. Once things get back to normal I'll go back though. read more

Best icecream I've EVER had!! I was introduced to Scoops by my realotor and good friend who has lived in the area for a few years and it's her family's favorite icecream place. Scoops is coldstone creamery style, but on a whole different level of amazing. The icecream is made by hand as well as some of the "mix ins" and other things they offer. They have an awesome selection of icecream, mix ins and also do catering! The employees are always very very friendly and they offer a great military discount! read more

I love this place! Oh, and my kids like it too. Friendly staff, and lots of options! I come here fairly often during the summer, never am I disappointed. read more

I went here while on a nonprofit program and we were fundraising the towns of Utah. They gladly gave us an Ice cream voucher and we came back ready!!! I just remember being extremely happy with my cone. You can have them mix in toppings into your ice cream. And the amount of ice cream they gave you is fantastic! I got a scoop of banana and a scoop of chocolate and had them mix in gummy bears! It was so good. It was probably one of my most happiest memories of Utah. I will try to come back! read more

The ice cream is delicious and reasonably priced, but the cappuccino is terrible. I took one sip and threw it away. There was no foam and it looked like milky water. I'll be back for dessert, but I'll pick up my coffee elsewhere. read more

This is a must stop. First, they make their own homemade ice cream and lots of flavors. I want more coffee and mocha flavors but that is a recommendation. Ice cream was smooth in texture and not icy. Need to find out what type of machine they use. read more

We stopped off here on our way home from Riverdale and I am glad we did. The ice cream is fantastic and they were less expensive than a certain competitor in the area. In addition to that, we were acknowledged the moment we walked in the door and were given excellent service. Sadly that is not common anymore. I will definitely come back next time we come through the area. read more

Great ice cream. A little hesitant to know what has Gluten or not (wife has Celiac). The young lady that helped us got us the Gluten free answer and was very friendly and nice. I got the Gluten full Oreo milkshake with French vanilla ice cream. Wife loves the butter pecan (although no pecans in it...?) with fudge on top. read more
