Some good looking specials (January 2025)
Alana C.

Great spot while in Logan. We visited twice during our time in town and liked our food and drinks both times. The service is friendly and fast also. My favorite item I tried was the tomato bisque soup. It's served very hot, is creamy and delicious. I wish it were served with a cracker, roll or crouton however. My husband enjoyed the pale ale on draft and our child loved her cheesy shells pasta. Plenty of types of seating and sometimes they have a fun trivia night which looked really popular. I do recommend this place for family dinner.

Traveling through Utah, we explored Logan. Downtown area was cool place with all the shops & professional businesses. We decided to have a light lunch at Prodigy Brewery. They were not super crowded and as usual we sat at the bar. Bartenders, Emma & Monica, greeted us with a smile and were very delightful. As "out-of-towners", we felt very welcomed. Emma was quite attentive with a good personality, making sure we had what we wanted. Menu had several things that looked enticing and some of the meals passing us to be delivered looked good too. Not being hungry, we ordered their smoked chicken wings. They had to be the best wings we've had in a while. Moist, plump and full of flavor. The carrots & celery sides were crisp & freshly cut. Nice !! We would definitely stop in again for a meal.

Great space. Outdoor patio looked fun from the inside. We'll have to sit outside on our next visit. Burgers were warm not piping hot. Not sure I'd order again.

Great selection of beer and cocktails, I did the Inversion IPA, really good. The space is really cool with tv's for sports. Great service at the bar. I had buffalo wings, they were excellent! Traditional with some taste of smoke when the cooked them

Beignets

As a Nevadan, I'm not sure what the standards are for rating a brewery in Utah. It's different? They are required to physically take every single adult's ID up to the front to verify before they'll bring out your alcoholic beverage? (They did this even for the clearly 60 years and older adults in our party.) That slows everything down. I visited as part of a private party, which they did an amazing job hosting in the basement in a dining area next to the brewing tanks. They did a great job accommodating us and separating checks. Our server even discounted the group 20% because of how long the food and beverages took to come out. Why four stars? Because beignets: absolutely delicious and so surprising to find on the menu. Because they let my husband eat shells and cheese off the kids menu and gave him an adult-sized rather than a child-sized serving of them. The aesthetic of this building was super cool.

Good size space, bar and restaurant. Creative beer names...:). Tried a few, all were good! Pizza was a good food choice as well. Early on a football Friday, vibe was laid back.

Stopped in again and enjoyed 302 that was very good. Had the Brat and their homemade mustard and aoili was extremely good.

Looks like changes have been made, the pizza is here and there is even Sunday brunch. My rose was a perfect pour. My husbands 302 Pilsner was an excellent German style brew. Came in for brunch and was blown away. I do not know what type of crack they added to their hash browns but I threw carb counting out the window. There is also a whole side of the brunch menu for different Bloody Marys. This visit I got the margarita pizza and my husband got the Serrano burger. I was a bit sad he didn't upgrade to the truffle fries. My pizza was good though the cheese was a bit salty. My husband enjoyed the burger and fries but didn't know where the Serrano pepper was I did notice that during brunch they turned the music way loud. During our lunch wasn't too bad.

Burgers were amazing, cooked well and super tasty! The waiter was super attentive, filled waters quickly and often, and made sure we were doing good. This place has a fantastic aesthetic!!

This building was really cool! There's a lot of seating with tables, bar seating and I think a downstairs area. They have a larger variety of beers - I really liked the one I got! The pizza was delicious and simple, exactly what I was looking for. The service was friendly and quick as well.

Summer road trip 2022, driving through nowhere. My husband hasn't hit a brewery in days. We have been eating simple food in the RV. I find Prodigy- light at the end of the tunnel! Or so I thought... 1. Logan is an adorable little town that looks like downtown has been revamped with youth by hipsters! There was a little artisan street market happening when we stopped by. Old marquee signs reinvigorated- loe it! 2. This review is highly unfair to Prodigy. When we visited they were only open for 3 days. I have high hopes they are working through the bumps and will be a success. On that note, super nice facility. Industrial inside with a modern touch. Comfortable feeling. The bathroom area is under construction but hey, still a new restaurant! The menu- they did not have the pizza oven in yet so no pizza's available. I ended up getting mac and beer cheese. We also ordered an order of crystal hot wings. The hot wings were not that hot and the blue cheese was not good. My mac and cheese was not served hot, it was luke warm so therefore not very creamy. I did not enjoy the broken up pretzel on top nor did I like the flavor (and I really like beer cheese!) I ended up passing it over to my husband to eat. Best wishes Prodigy!

Soft pretzel

Went here for lunch and was a little disappointed. We waited 10 minutes until our survey finally greeted us. Not rude service but not very friendly either. The Mac n cheese came out cold and was just bland. The pretzel was pretty good though. We also had their tap Hefeweizen which we didn't love. It just tasted bland. Overall we were left a little disappointed and put out. On a positive note the beer was only $4 on Sunday, but we weren't aware of that until we already paid the bill.

The hamburgers are out of this world! I'm not usually a gal who eats them but it is my favorite menu item!

Good drinks, super slow service--wrong wine brought to table and we had to ask twice for an ordered cocktail.

Yummy burger - great salads and wonderful beer sampler. Though quite frankly I found the service lackluster at best .

This is a fun, and loud place, and the place has character! We got toasted ravioli in red pepper…read moresauce (which was basically the red pepper bisque). Delicious! I could easily eat the bisque alone. We ago got the garlic cheese curds, and the Mac n cheese which was phenomenal! Last time we came, the weekly appetizer was spinach artichoke dip, that was so good, I got a second serving as "dessert" (another day). Their regular menu is great, but I also love the rotation, to add a little more variety. It was very busy, and we mentioned we were trying to make a show later, and they took care of us, and we made it on time.

We popped in on our way back to Park City from the Golden Spike National Park. Called 10 minutes…read moreahead because we were a party of 7, and they were able to immediately seat us. Our server was super friendly. The food came out fast, fresh, and was all pretty good. Highlight apps were the pretzel bites with the beer cheese (there was waaayyyy too much cheese dip - a soup bowl full), the roasted brussels sprouts, and a Caesar salad. Around eh table, folks had the fried chicken, the Philly cheese steak, the salmon special, and some burgers. Everything was cooked nicely and served hot and fast. They have cool swag too! Free parking across the street in the parking garage. And it was a relief to find a brew pub where we could also have our 17 year old nephew join for a meal. Still getting used to the 21+ thing in Utah.

It was fairly quiet today, clean and my husband and I were seated right away…read more The waiter got my drink order wrong but fixed it right away so I was happy. Josh took our order and we didn't have to wait long. This review is for the main course (not the appetizer; although it was very good) I ordered the chicken Cajun penne pasta dish. The chicken was moist and there was sliced andouille sausage. The spice level was perfect for me. Enough to be flavorful and a little heat without being overpowering. The flavor profile was nice without being overpowering as well...the onions and peppers really upped the flavor and along with the Cajun spice just made it enjoyable to eat. The pasta wasn't overcooked, perfect bite to it and the cream sauce was creamy and not broken down and there was enough of it too. My husband got the same dish but his had shrimp instead of chicken. We would definitely get this again.

Was in the neighborhood and decided to opt for some takeout. If you want to fill yourself up for…read moreless than $20, I highly recommend Applebee's Ultimate Trio. You choose three different appetizers off of their wide variety of menu options. I went with the Chicken Wonton Taco's, Brew Pub Pretzels, and Riblets. I received three pieces of each selection in the platter. You get to choose three different sauces along with the items. First off, the Brew Pub Pretzels are absolutely delicious! Perfect amount of the seasoning with the salt and I added on (per their suggestion) Blue Moon Beer Cheese (which is actually white cheddar) and the Honey Dijon Mustard. 10/10 so delicious...I really didn't need the dressings but they are good on the side nonetheless. Chicken Wonton Taco's came with the Sweet Asian Marinated Grilled Chicken in a side cup (same with the coleslaw). Delicious shells but they break upon first bite, so kind of hard to enjoy it all together. Sadly they forgot the cilantro but no biggie. Riblets are left bare or cooked in your choice of sauce. I opted for Honey Barbeque and they were fantastic! The Sweet Asian Chili Sauce is beyond anything that I've ever had anywhere and I highly recommend it! I definitely will be coming back just for that! Lastly I ordered a Kids Cheesy Pizza and it was awful!! Nothing but melted cheese with some tomato sauce thrown on a big bread loaf (definitely not pizza dough)! Complete waste of money other than it came with a side (I went with vanilla yogurt and strawberries which was delicious)! Kid's size soda also included and it was full of ice but the cranberry juice here is very good. Definitely will be back again (Applebee's is SOO much better than Chilli's, IMO). Highly recommend to others for good portions and fair prices.
