The environment feels like an upscale LA food stop ! The food is fresh and I enjoyed the different options that were offered. Not only that, but the food is all healthy and nutritious !

I love this place. I had been wanting to eat here but wasn't sure hubby would like it, because it's healthy food. I waited till he went out of town and had a solo date at Aubergine and was so impressed. Upon entry I felt like I was walking into a spa. The menu is substantial, and I found items even my husband would enjoy. I ordered the tofu bowl which was beautiful and delicious. The flavors exploded in my mouth. It was filling, so I took the rest home for a midnight snack. I'd come back and bring the hubby next time!

We often choose to stop when traveling to Utah because of the many appetizing options at Aubergine. I love that I can get a bowl or salad and my husband and kids can get a sandwich all from the same spot. The menu has so many favorite options! We also love the option of açaí bowl. I wish they'd come to Beaverton, Oregon. The service has been good and the atmosphere is upscale counter service.

The cheese bread alone will keep me coming back to Aubergine however I ordered the sweet potatoes and they were badly burnt and tasted like charcoal. My sister ordered the chicken harvest bowl and it only came with one sweet potato wedge which was disappointing. Parking is decent and the service was fast, all staff was very friendly.

    MANGO GOAT CHEESE SALAD

Ordered pickup around 1 and got there a little early and it was popping! A vibrant, lively, chic place with lots of people dining in and out on the patio. I got the mango goat cheese salad which was delicious! No guilt whatsoever, whatever you choose. I will be making this my lunch stop when I don't have a home lunch!

I give this place 3.5 stars. I personally like Vessel better for the food, but they have smoothies and acai bowls here. This is healthy clean, food, so if you aren't into that tread slowly. This is the place you go to fuel up before a long run, mountain bike ride, hike etc.,. Try a smoothie or acai bowl first. They have some delish, healthy ones. It's on the pricier side too. If you do try a bowl make sure you get a sauce to go along with it even if it doesn't come with it for some more flavor. I had the tri tip maderia bowl and it had great flavor. Without any sauces they tend to be dry, salt and pepper help a lot also. My 2nd time here, both times were good but again it was fueling up for some lovely Utah outdoor recreation.

Went back again for a smoothie! Service is great. You order at the counter and they give you a number and bring you your food. Healthy fresh ingredients and it all tastes delicious!

Typically I'm quite excited to write a 1 star review, this is not the case this time. I really want to like this place, but they simply gave me every reason not to. The idea is great, no refined sugar in any of the food, and they don't even serve soft drink. There are also a lot of gluten free and vegan options. However, first of all, the way they have their line and ordering set up is terrible. Unlike every single other restaurant that serves food in a similar fashion, instead of ordering as you first get to the food, you have to wait until you get all the way to the cashier to order and pay. This results in people frequently needing to walk back to read the menu because they forgot exactly what the wanted, and an unnecessarily long wait in line. Second, after waiting in line for 10-20 mins, it took another 20 mins just to get our food. However, we watched the person that ordered after us get their food long before we did. When we finally got our food, it looked great, but was unfortunately extremely underwhelming. I ordered the trip tip bowl and the entire bowl was extremely bitter and didn't really have many other flavors. Each meal also comes with one of their "famous" cheese breads, and frankly, they are not good at all. They are gluten free and taste like a sponge with the tiniest hint of cheese mixed in A simple adjustment of how their line works would go a long way, and maybe even make we willing to give it another try

Nugget on left was so hard and immediately tossed. Those other 2 nuggets were supposed to feed my 6 year old son‍

Kids meal was a joke. Came with 2 nuggets and 1 extremely burnt and hard as a rock nugget. So disappointing.

Aubergine is for those who want a bougie-r zupas experience. The restaurant is beautiful, and has nice seating well spaced from each other. The menu and the ordering system is very similar to zupas where you choose either a salad, sandwich or bowl, but with higher-end ingredients. I was excited to see their "sweets" menu with smoothies, icecream and desserts. I didn't get one but will have to next time! Their most popular items are highlighted in squares so I tried their spicy curry bowl. I didn't notice any spice but it was very delicious. I enjoyed the curry sauce, the yellow rice and the cheese bread! It was a big bowl and was very filling. I was hungry and left full with more than half of my bowl left. The only thing that was disappointing was that I was really craving a soda. They don't have a soda bar here. Just water and a bunch of teas and lemonade. I would have killed for a diet Dr Pepper with my curry! So bring a soda if you want more drink options. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Peanut Butter Bomb - over $11 for a small lukewarm cashew milk with add ins. Not worth it sadly. Easy to make something much better at home
    Julia J.

Second time trying Aubergine, and while this location was much more open and attractive inside than the downtown SLC location, the prices for lunch for one are steep! $17-20 for a weekday lunch is just much higher than I want to pay on the regular for a go-to spot, even if the ingredients and options are fresh and look yummy. I settled on a smoothie, and was disappointed they only had cashew milk, and no alternative dairy options. Still went with the flow, but was again a bit sad when it was served super liquidy and semi-lukewarm. When I think smoothie I think of an icy drink that has been blended like a frap. Not so much thinking of a lukewarm milk flavored drink with mix ins. To pay more than $11 with tax plus more for tip for a small peanut butter chocolate smoothie was just too much, in my opinion, and kind of outrageous when it doesn't even fit the description of temperature/texture of a true smoothie. Prices are too high to tempt me for a return for the quality I received sadly.

Our experience today: expect to wait 15 minutes for a salad, 22 minutes for an açaí bowl, and a ridiculous 36 minutes for a smoothie.

The food was excellent. We ordered the house focaccia and calamari to start. Both were incredible. My wife had the lasagna, and I had the spicy crab campanelle (at the recommendation of our server). The homemade pasta is melt-in-your-mouth good. In terms of cost, it is about what I'd expect from a nice dinner out with my wife. My new favorite restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Everything comes out fairly quick for all being house-made from scratch. The meals are flavorful and great. There isn't anything on this menu that stands out, everything seems pretty standard for a nice Italian place. Our bread and salad starter were great and we cleared those quick ! I chose the chicken parmigiana and found the marinara sauce to be a bit watery/bland in taste. My chicken was a bit dry so perhaps a bit overcooked. The alfredo that came with it was DELICIOUS, perfectly creamy. However...can I justify $30 for the plate ? No. My boyfriend's spicy sausage a la vodka pasta was delicious but again, the red sauce was lack luster for me. It's almost like it was lacking tomato paste and garlic ? The potato side was delicious and surprisingly large for the price ! The aioli that came with it was great in flavor as well. We finished our meal with a creme brulee. It was perfectly torched and the creme itself was delicious and perfectly chilled. The strawberry was a bit sour for my liking, especially for coming with an expensive dessert. But this dessert was one of my highlights of the meal. Although a nice once-off meal, I find Bartolo's to be pretty overpriced, even for delicious italian dishes. I have had ruth's chris meals for this price and understood why it was priced the way it was.

I ordered the Custom Protein Plate to include Al Pastor Shredded Chicken, Fresno Cauliflower, and Cilantro Lime Slaw. I also requested a side of their pita bread and hummus along with just a side of pita strips. Lastly was the Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce and Israeli Pico. After waiting nearly an hour for my food to be ready to pick-up I was absolutely starving and stupidly didn't check the bag (which was sealed/stapled in a sturdy brown paper bag). Was very disappointed to see that I did not receive the pita bread and hummus side. I did receive just the plain pita strips that I also had ordered, and thank GOD I requested the Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce and Israeli Pico otherwise I would have had no spice or dipping for the bread and my meal. The Habanero Ginger Hot Sauce is spicy (but not too much so). It has the perfect kick that will definitely have me returning. The Israeli Pico was also fantastic and extremely fresh and flavorful. Both sides/sauces were so good that I honestly want to try them all eventually. The Al Pastor Shredded Chicken wasn't anything spectacular. It honestly tasted pretty much like any shredded chicken that you would receive at a Mexican restaurant. The Fresno Cauliflower was absolutely fantastic! Definitely could've used a larger portion size than what was included. The Cilantro Lime Slaw was also flavorful and very healthy/light on the abdomen. Only thing I will say is that it definitely didn't taste as good on day two so you might want to keep that in mind if you like to have leftovers such as myself. The pita strips were a bit disappointing. Almost rock hard and not very fresh though I will say they were all gone in the same evening as the seasoning is good and they aren't very large to begin with. Definitely do plan on returning but not quite sure when. I work a lot of long hours so I depend on takeout for most of my meals and I'm indifferent about a restaurant that couldn't get my order correct the FIRST time visiting (especially since I had already been warned; obviously it's a problem at this location). Vessel Kitchen definitely is a good, non guilty way of indulging without breaking the bank.
