They are even concerned with pleasing people who have special diets (gluten free, etc.). I am a vegan and my husband is a big meat-eater. We have 5 kids, so we like a place that loves kids. This place is the best for all of those things. As I often do, I went inside first, leaving my family in the van, and asked if they'd be able to make anything special for me, the vegan. They responded so wonderfully. They said they could make me this wonderful vegan wrap with hummus and a bunch of veggies. Oh, my, it was delicious, and served with sweet potato fries and a garden salad. In addition, they told me they'd love ideas for what vegan food to serve in the future, and add to their menu. I wrote up a bunch of ideas for them after they brought a paper and a pen. So if you want to try my ideas and theirs, and if you are vegan, go in. Don't wait. You'll wish you hadn't! By the way, this is also the Village Green, where they have artists of all genres and wish in a major way to support acting troupes, music groups, dance groups, writing groups who'll do readings, and visual artists, so if you are one of those, call them or E-mail them. Very fresh and tasty. You also get your choice of an organic juice box/milk, or water with the meal. The chicken was cooked well and a decent size "kid" portion. The whole meal was under $20 and very filling. You can't find these competitive prices at your local fast food joint and it's much healthier too. The hot sauce they gave me had no discernible spice whatsoever and just tasted like mango. I don't recommend asking for that unless you like mild/no-spice liquidy mango sauce. On the side we tried the roti and the fresh garlic naan and were not disappointed at either, but have to say the puffy and flaky naan was hands down the best side of the evening. The food was great. The bread was fresh and soft and warm and the empanadas as well. Flavor wise they were nothing special but the quality was great. We got the beef tongue as well and it was amazing. Super soft and flavorful that had us coming for more. And finally the reason for my 4 stars, we got the anchovies pizza. The crust was great everything was great however the salt in the anchovies wasn't accounted for and made the pizza super salty. Other than that it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back. :)

The Cajun Home Fries had an off-putting taste as well and no amount of ketchup or fry sauce was going to help them. The scone and the egg were probably the only decent things in the entire meal but neither one stood out above average. Overall I would not recommend this place very highly nor do I plan on returning. After eating here I'm thinking breakfast will be off limits for quite a while due to the unappetizing taste leftover in my mouth.
