I love that they have a drive in! My first experience here was pretty good. My only issue was that I ordered at the order board and waited behind another car for about 15 minutes, and when I got to the window they had no idea what happened to my order so I had to order again and wait a while. The girl was so nice though, and they worked pretty fast! I waited about 10 more minutes. I would recommend ordering online maybe if you're doing takeout just since the drive through was a little funky. The food was great though! Just a regular basic breakfast, which is what I love! Everything was cooked perfect. It was a lot of food too, so I have a good amount of leftovers. I ordered two entrees to share between myself and my two kids. I loved the crispy Cajun potatoes. I would definitely come back!

It even has a drive thru!

I'm glad I didn't listen too closely to the reviews griping about crowds and long waits. I had no real issues with either--and let's be honest, if a place is good and you roll in at peak time, waiting is just part of the game. The Western omelette? Pure edible therapy. Beef, peppers, onions, and tomatoes all tucked into a gooey egg-and-cheese hug. The iced coffee showed up as the reliable sidekick--no drama, just cold, strong, and exactly what I needed. Service is the "friendly but hustling" kind. You order at the counter, they bring it to your table, and my food showed up in under 10 minutes. For a busy spot, that's basically lightning speed.

Clean, quick & delicious. Never tried the Utah scone before. It's sooooo good. .

One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. They give you a ton of food. Definitely a bang for your buck. I had the veggie omelet with Cajun potatoes and a cinnamon butter scone. Everything tasted amazing. The cashier had the most inviting smile and friendly demeanor! It was early in the morning when I visited so the place was quiet and peaceful. Definitely will visit again when I'm in this area.

Waited 25 minutes in the drive through for a breakfast sandwich with bacon. Not sure where the bacon is. Not worth the $13

The food was okay but not worth the wait. Ambiance was decent. The girls at the desk were nice and kept apologizing for waiting. (Multiple times I've waited an hour for food)

Food portions are awesome. Food tastes great. Fresh squeezed OJ is yummy. Bacon is great. Scones are yummy. A little pricey and I only brought half my family with me for breakfast. However I would still return because the food is much better than your typical diner breakfast spot. Staff is very kind

Stopped by for breakfast today at around 9:30. There were lots of seating and the line didn't take too long! We noticed it got busier around 10-10:30. I like that you order first at the front and then they bring it to your table. It makes for a faster dining experience! The food came quick as well, and it was all delicious! The bacon was incredible. Some of the best bacon I've ever had! (I've heard the burgers are pretty good too so I'll have to come back to try that!) The employees were very kind and brought us extra syrup and it was a great place to have a girls brunch!

Small location but not the portions - they did not skimp. Alotta bang for the $. Go early and even then it's busy with Uber Eats pick ups. Or hit the drive through --perfect for on your way to work (ie base) Small tables and not very many. Party of two and we had to grab a 4 seater table (only available) and when our food came, we needed both tables for all the plates, whodathunk?! Daily Rise coffee on tap- very nice!! We left at 9am and the line was out the door on a Saturday morning. Honestly do not recommend for families inside- too tight!!

The scones are really good. Dining in? The tables are really low compared to the chairs, kinda kid size.

It's a family-run restaurant with an open kitchen, so you can see every dish being prepared right in front of you. It doesn't feel like a typical restaurant--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And what truly sets this place apart is the people behind it. The father took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each dish in detail. The mother shared the cultural and historical inspiration behind the plates, connecting the food back to the Philippines in such a meaningful way. Their son served us with professionalism and genuine kindness. You can feel the pride, love, and intention in everything they do. What we ordered: Pork Lumpia with Sweet Chili Sauce - perfectly crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Sizzlin' OINK Sisig - served hot with an egg on top... bold, savory, and absolutely addictive. Lechon OINKawali - crispy pork belly done right: crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Pancit Noodles - THE BEST NOODLES EVER!!!! And for dessert: Banana - Bowlicious - fried plantains tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle... the perfect sweet finish. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the fried sweet plantain banana desert but I have to say that the flavor still lingers in my mouth and my heart! Everything tasted incredibly fresh. The sauces are clearly made from scratch, and the flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. And the value? Unbeatable. We ordered appetizers, three main dishes, and two desserts and the bill left me speechless in a good way :) If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine with heart, story, and flavor this is the place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing last dinner in Utah! I will absolutely be back.

Went down on a Saturday when traffic was light and easily found the restaurant in a strip mall with lots of parking. The family running the restaurant is helpful and friendly! It's a small restaurant with about 8 good size tables. A awesome menu including desserts! We got : Jam Bowl Loco - it's a healthy scoop of rice - 1/2 lb brisket burger w/ a fried egg and brown gravy all over! Hubby said best loco moco he has ever had which is saying a lot since he's has a few hundred under his belt! I got the pork BBQ Skewers (4) served with garlic fried rice and a papaya salad. I loved the BBQ pork lots of flavor and eaten with the rice and salad it was excellent! I enjoyed this dish very much and would order it again . We also got the pork lumpia which was a great start to our meal. Due to the long drive and the yummy food we decided to order the chicken adobo bowl as a take out. I can't wait to have it for dinner! Vanessa was the friendliest person she and her husband own and run the restaurant plus do the cooking. She told us they do have specials and rotate their dishes which is an awesome idea for frequent visitors. It was a great trip - no traffic - awesome food- a great little excursion

We ordered a blueberry cornbread with lemon butter off the seasonal menu, and it was very good. I'm impressed at how well the combination went together. With that said, the cornbread could have been a little hotter. The main entrees were a steak hash also off the seasonal menu and an original breakfast. I have to say the steak cash was really good. Had a chimichurri on it and another sauce that went very well with a decent amount of meat and more than enough potatoes and other ingredients. The original breakfast was scrambled eggs with some cheese on it, potatoes and bacon. Again everything was very good. They have a line of fresh juices available none of which we tried but they do serve Coke products. All in all, while I'm not really big on chain restaurants, I would definitely go back here multiple times to try different things off the menu.

We actually really like First Watch but today the waitress we had was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE…read more I'm not the type of person that really complains. I'm pretty understanding. But Gemma was a nightmare. We walked in and it was so busy. We asked the girls at the front if we can self seat in the bar (it was my fiancé and I so we were looking to get in and out quickly) the girls said yes and we headed that way. We walked up and there were dirty dishes on the counter in front of the two empty seats. I decided to clean the area and clear the dirty plates, utensils, napkins and cups. We stood there for a few minutes until I decided to go to the restroom and get a wet paper towel to wipe the counter down. While I was gone Gemma doesn't greet my fiancé, no. She decides to make a snarky comment about him bringing coffee in to drink. Here's the thing. If first watch made lattes or coffee drinks other than drip coffee we would be happy to drink their coffee but they don't. So it should be perfectly acceptable for us to bring in a coffee drink that we actually want to drink. If Gemma is itching that bad to make a comment, try a joke. Something light. Don't come in hot. K so we are waiting to order and Gemma decides to help the people next to us (who got there first so obviously that's completely normal and fair) what wasn't completely normal and fair is sitting and watching Gemma talk with, be nice to and chit chat with the couple and then when she finally decides to come and take our order, it's a completely different experience. She didn't even greet us or say hello. She just asked us what we wanted very dryly, no smile, nothing. We ordered our food. She grabbed the menus with a straight look on her face (almost as if she's annoyed at our existence) and then turned and walked away. Like what the actual heck! I had to clear off my own area touching other people's dirty dishes, which I do not get paid to do, wipe down the counter which had thick sticky stuff all over it and egg juice everywhere. Then you're gonna be super nice to the people next to us and super rude to us for no reason at all other than maybe because we brought our own coffee in?! There really is no reason. It took a long time for our food to arrive and when it finally did, Gemma had put it into a different table, so the food runner was looking for us all over trying to get our food to us...coincidence? Perhaps. Or maybe she did it on purpose. Only Gemma knows. At this point there's no way coffee has triggered her this hard. It's gotta be something else... We noticed that Gemma never gave us utensils to eat with, so I then had to walk around and try to find someone to help. All of the utensils holders at the bar were empty. I saw Gemma, started to walk up to her and she tried to hurry away into the kitchen so I said "excuse me!!" And I told her we didn't have utensils and I asked if she could help us get some. She gave me the dirtiest look! Very SARCASTIC and like reached for the only two utensils that were in a bucket on the bar in front of an elderly lady who was eating. As if Gemma not only expected me to know where the utensils were, but also expected me to reach in front of this lady to grab them. It kind of feels like she should have given them to us like every other waitress and waiter does at every other restaurant that exists. I mean, the system works. Customers actually like if you treat them well and give them utensils to eat with. Then when she printed our receipt (never offered us a box but offered to everyone else around us) I asked her if her name was on the receipt and she literally yells at me "do you want a manager?" I replied "I'm sorry?" And then she quickly changed her volume and said it again in a normal speaking voice. I said no thank you and we left. The reason I didn't speak to a manager is because the absurdity of how Gemma treated us would have stopped at the managers ears but her service was SO TERRIBLE. Everyone should know. We did absolutely NOTHING to warrant such poor treatment. Gemma needs more training on customer service and treating ALL customers with respect and dignity despite whatever her insecurities or personal opinions are. We have 8 kids and I would be really disappointed if any of our children ever treated people so poorly for no good reason.

Came both in the afternoon as well as at night. The bartender in the afternoon was super friendly, she was not at all bothered that we had a large group coming in and out. Great to talk to, gave us insights on Utah and the culture here while we were visiting. The bartender later in the evening however... well. We understand the bar was slammed, that is no excuse for the poor attitude and service though. She acted like everyone was a bother to her. When you're a service worker, which I have been, and are working on tips at the bar as well, you shouldn't be that dismissive. Especially when it comes to the safety of your patrons. The crowd in the evening was also weird, not at all super welcoming to outsiders. We were just in our group having drinks and conversation when an older gentleman started to cause an issue. He claimed we had moved his pool balls at his table. We were close, but not at all in the relevant area of the table. He began insulting us and trying to start an issue. We simply told him we didn't move his balls, he could check the cameras if he felt it was that serious, and we even offered multiple times to buy him a new set for the table and move on as grown men. He proceeded to brandish a firearm concealed. Interesting choice to carry at a bar, coming from another CCW holder in my residing state. He later mentioned to the bartender "I have my strap on me if they (us) follow me outside". This was directly by the bar and on camera if you doubt me. The bartender was of 0 assistance when we asked her to simply run the camera back a few minutes and prove we did not touch his table. She was EXTREMELY avoidant and dismissive about a potential hazard in her bar. Stellar service alright. At this point, we ordered the last rounds of whatever we were drinking and closed out. Did not want to tip on the experience, but out of pity for the bartender on the basis of the above issue (it's bullshit but it's still a safety issue) and how slammed she was, along with our group being larger. I've been in that position as a service worker. I hate to give this review because the experience was genuinely ok before this issue in the evening. The drinks were good, prices fair, typical dive bar affair. We aren't sure if racism had any play in this. We were the only minorities in there for the most part, and we have gotten weird stares through our time here in Layton. Nothing as concerning as this bar experience though.
